So we should just allow the actual offenses and disrespectful conduct of a taxpayer employee in Coach M to continue unabated. That along with a coaching stipend payment and liability coverage for a part time school district representation for Coach R, even though he has been arrested for violent behavior on more then a few occasions?

That mindset is laughable.

Just because a winning season has occurred this year, all is forgiven as to this disrespectful and violence prone behavior.

For all the new Aberdeen residents. The club that was formed back in the 70's was the Fathers Club, fathers of players who wanted more the football program. The Maroon and Steel Club offset the programs that otherwise the Boe would pay for. Football Camps and equipment. It is not and easy task to run a football program. Please understand it may be thought that many students get scholarships off of athletics. The amount of money placed into such hopes should have an accounting. It may not be as suggested or perhaps the sports programs we fund have considerable results. it is hoped you find the truth. Thank you. Watch out for the leftover monster. Lets try again for anonymous in BOLD PRINT. Two parents had meetings with Coach Martucci in regards to their sons quitting the team and Coach Martucci telling them "you are dead to me now". There may also have been a talk given to the remaining players that may also question Coach Martucci and his choice of words and his possible intention during that talk.

This is not a nice man if such things are said to impressionable youth as well as parents in front of school officials and students parents who may have allowed such behavior due to Martucci's record or perceived power base, the Maroon and Steel Parents Organization. Mere words if you look at how that organization is run or more importantly has been told how to run.

We may soon see the metal of the man heading up our district who better deal with these things as well as Coach Rogers. It seems that some are too easy to allow violent prone instructors merely since we have had one winning season as of late.

Such logic is slanted, confused and all too typical.

Give credit where credit is due. Charlie turned this program around for our students and made them winners again. If he did something wrong the administration would have done something about it. They didn't do anything, so get over it. He is a mentor to many of these students, like it or not, simply by the position the school district put him in and they are paying him for it. He is only doing his job and it looks like a job well done.

I concur the perceived or actual power of Mr. Martucci has been allowed or feared by leadership for far too long. It is long past a time for a change after his most recent and numerous examples of his actual or perceived power.

As for the violent proned coach and his on the field and on the streets exploits of assaults and involvement with various law enforcement agencies. It is obvious that something should be done now and probably should have been done officially some time ago.

Action should be taken sooner rather then later to avoid any more of Mr. M.'s questionable conduct, hiring of staff with histories of violence against others, or any further abuses of students and their parents by Mr. M. in the future.

I ask the Aberdeener one question.

Should the Board of Ed take action to assure this coach or other coaches in the future have a code of conduct instituted and actually be followed?

In my opinion such a standard should be adopted and enforced as to the professional and personal conduct by coaches, teachers or any other staff members working in our district who interact so closely with children of any age. This of course would be due to their daily contact and interaction with impressionable children who look up to and admire such people. Children of any age know what is going on around them. Quite often more then we may think or want to admit.

I am certain many believe that this coach and his conduct warrants review and far more then monitoring due to the repeated offenses and violence against others. It is rumored that this individual has also received help during his court proceedings some time ago in another town as well. That would be a shame if it is true.

It is long past the time that these matters be looked into in a serious review of our processes in this district. As well as the conduct of all who interact with our children deserves serious review and strict enforcement, to avoid liability for the district and its taxpayers by such individuals.

So your OK with a man who has been repeatedly involved with violence against others on several occasions being allowed to instruct children. Amazing?

You also seem to not have a problem with Coach M. and his recent blatant and ignorant statements to players concerning players who quit the team "your dead to me", and then to ignorantly repeat such statements to their parents in front of a school administrator who failed to correct such action, or likewise the same man who showed great disrespect to the National Anthem by talking during such a moment. That along with other questionable decisions, statements, purchases and more over the years by Coach M. that were sadly ignored by many in leadership positions.

But now since we have had one good football season you think it is also OK to have this THUG influencing children. That I must tell you is idiotic.

But if it is OK with you to have such a person coaching children would it then be OK to hire pedophiles, drug dealers, pimps or murderers? Let me know when you realize how stupid your thought process is.
