Letter to the Fire Commissioners

December 20, 2010

Deputy Chief James Polanco
Aberdeen Township Hose and Chemical Company #1
490 Lloyd Road
Aberdeen, NJ 07747
Board of Fire Commissioners
Fire District #1
490 Lloyd Road
Aberdeen, NJ 07747

Gentlemen,

At the Fire Company meeting held on March 9, 2010 charges were brought against the District Chief Louis Auriemma by the undersigned. At that Fire Company meeting the Board of Fire Commissioner’s lawyer, Allen Falk, explained that at the time of the incident(s) the District Chief has a supervisory role over the Fire Company Officers. That statement placed this issue officially within the purview of this Board as his employer. Any complaints, grievances, and charges against the District Chief must be dealt with by this Board of Fire Commissioners.

In meetings held with the Fire Company Officers an agreement was made with the Board of Fire Commissioners, that this matter should be handled internally. In return for this agreement the original letter detailing the charges to be brought against the Fire District Chief was withdrawn so it would not be read, and made a part of the public record. In return the Board of Fire Commissioners agreed to a number of stipulations that they would deliver as part of that agreement. First, the Board would provide a copy of the contract that is maintained with the Aberdeen Hose and Chemical Company #1 detailing the terms under which the Fire Company operates for the Fire District. Second, a clear detailing of the “Chain of Command” would be outlined for both on and off fire scene detailing the roles and responsibilities with particular emphasis on the District Chief position. Third, a clearly defined job description for the District Chief would be spelled out in writing so it will be known by all what his actual job function is, and the scope of his employment would be defined. Fourth, the Board of Fire Commissioners would assign one of its members as the Manager to oversee the District Chief directly, and act as an escalation point for any complaint or grievance. Lastly, a clearly detailed schedule and policy statement be made to state exactly when the District Chief was “on duty”, and when he is just a Fire Company member so the rest of the membership of the Fire Company would know when he is acting in his official capacity, and when not. To this date only one of these stipulations has been received. I’ve been told that there is a “Manager” for the District Chief, but there has not been any official communication on this subject to the Fire Company Officers, to my knowledge. Therefore, due to the lack of action on the part of this Board, I feel it is time to officially reinstate the following charges:
1. Failure to adhere to the Fire District SOP’s.
2. Assaulting a Fire Company Officer.
3. Threatening a Fire Company Officer.
4. Harassment of Firefighters Name withheld, and Name withheld.

In that, on February 20, 2010, at the vehicle fire at VEI Limousine the District Chief fought the fire, without any protective gear, and was present in the “hot zone” actively fighting the fire well after fully equipped firefighters arrived at the scene. He ignored warnings by the Deputy Chief to leave the danger area. During his action on the scene he sustained an injury to his right hand. After having a meeting with the Fire Company Chief about this matter, Louis Auriemma repeated this disregard for the Fire District SOP’s at the basement fire on Atlantic Avenue. He admitted to the membership that he went inside the house before the first attack line entered the building. He was in street clothes, and unprotected the entire time.

After the VEI fire was out, the District Chief was complaining loudly that the other firefighters were improperly trained because they had hit him with a straight stream from the opposite side of the vehicle. He yelled, while pointing his finger at me, and said, “You are not training these men properly”. He was very loud. I asked him to stop, and we would discuss it back at the Fire House. I was ignored. He then began shouting the question, “Who was on the other hose line?” Name withheld said he was in that team. At that point, the District Chief began to shout at Name withheld without regard to whether Name withheld had been manning the nozzle or not. When I told Name withheld that we would discuss this back at the Fire House, he turned away and went to Truck 498. The District Chief had to be reminded three more times that the scene was the wrong place for this discussion. As I repeated this request he continued yelling while Name withheld walked toward Truck 498. During this rant by District Chief Louis Auriemma directed at Name withheld his language was abusive, derogatory, insulting, and unnecessary.

Further, on February 23, 2010 during a fire call that was hit out while the Fire Company was performing Truck Cleaning, I directed the group of firefighters that stayed behind to clean the bay for Truck 497. As the group was finishing up Name withheld was using a squeegee. The District Chief began to verbally harass Name withheld, making derogatory comments about his technique. At one point Name withheld stopped his work, and walked from the bay handing his squeegee to Mike Romano. As Name withheld reached the Radio Room area he said that no one should be treated like that. Upon hearing Name withheld’s remark the District Chief started shouting at Name withheld, and as he began to advance toward Name withheld said, “If you don’t like the way things are done around here there’s the door”. As Deputy Chief it is my duty as an Officer to intercede in any altercation between Fire Company members to calm the situation, and then allow for a controlled and orderly discussion of the disagreement. I stepped in front of the District Chief, and asked him to stop. Instead he raised his hands, and hit me in the chest, at the same time violently shoving me back in an attempt to force his way past me. I regained my balance, and again stood in his path repeating the request for him to stop and let it go. The District Chief again hit me in the chest shoving me back harder. As I again recovered, and stood in his path I repeated the request to stop and let it go. I was once again violently shoved by Louis Auriemma, and he made his way past me. This entire sequence of events was witnessed by members of this Board, and if Paul Percussi hadn’t held my arm I would have fallen down. The District Chief continued advancing toward Name withheld. He continued his rant using abusive language directed at Name withheld. Later, while I was in the Radio Room, the District Chief approached me, and attempted to start an argument with me over the incident with Name withheld. I told him that he shouldn’t talk to me right then, and he shouted at me that he wasn’t afraid of me. I answered that I wasn’t trying to scare him just stop him. At that time he said, “You better not get in my way again or you’ll see what happens”. Obviously the District Chief exhibits no respect for my position, and is predicting that he will act in a worse manner in the future. In light of his actions I am charging the District Chief Louis Auriemma with Assaulting an Officer, Threatening an Officer, and Harassment of Fire Company members Name withheld, and Name withheld.

It is unfortunate that these charges need to be filed, but I can no longer allow this type of harassing behavior to be handled “behind the scenes” as has always happened in the past. These incidents are just the most recent examples of a pattern of behavior by District Chief Louis Auriemma. He has continually shown utter disregard for the Chain of Command. This is not the first time that it has been brought to this Board’s attention. The Fire Company Officers sent a letter to this Board pointing out this situation, and it appears to have had little or no effect. The Board of Fire Commissioners failed to act then to prevent the current situation from happening. Additionally, this is not the first time a member, or members, of the Fire Company have quit due to the harassment they received from the District Chief or witnessed him impose on others. As a reminder, this incident caused the resignation of three Officers, including the Fire Company Chief. This behavior by the District Chief has prevented good men from considering advancement to become Fire Company Officers, and caused others to discontinue their involvement with the Fire Company. No one wants to be subjected to the District Chief’s wrath because Officers get it the worst. Becoming an Officer in this Fire Company is perceived by the members as painting a “Bulls-eye” on your back. A fact that was pointed out in the aforementioned letter sent to this Board on November 2, 2007 (attached). The Officers who signed that letter had every hope that this Board would act for the betterment of the Fire Service, and it did nothing. I will remind this Board that in the recent election only two Officers are in place for the coming year. The current Chief and Captain are all that are in place. The positions of Deputy Chief and all three Lieutenant positions remain unfilled.

District Chief Louis Auriemma has repeatedly demonstrated that he is a danger to himself, and other firefighters. He does not adhere to the safety standards both the Board of Fire Commissioner’s and the Fire Company have set. He has also undermined the confidence and respect that the firefighters should have in their Officers because he is out of control. The Officers can do nothing about it, and this Board has been unwilling to support them in this regard. The District Chief can, and will, erupt at a moment’s notice on anyone, and is incapable of restraining himself. It’s as if the rules do not apply to him. He has also blatantly lied about these incidents to the Fire Company, of which you are members. More than one of you knows that for a fact because you witnessed the entire incident, are aware of the lies he told, and are unwilling to call him on it.

This pattern of behavior, exhibited by Louis Auriemma, is such that after being cautioned he will abide by the recommendations for a period of time. After which, he will gradually revert to his previous pattern. This cycle cannot be tolerated any longer because there seems to be no limit to the extent of his transgressions. Louis Auriemma, by his actions, has demonstrated over a long period of time that he should not be in a position of authority, or have a supervisory role, of any kind, in Fire Company Operations.

I request that an official investigation be conducted immediately, because an offense such as this carried out against a public official in the performance of his duties, and such offense was committed to prevent said official from performing his duty, is a Felony. I believe such an offense was committed against me by District Chief Louis Auriemma. Since the District Chief has not taken responsibility for his actions, and has lied about the incident, an official investigation has become mandatory. I also recommend, to avoid the appearance of impropriety, that while the investigation is underway that Louis Auriemma be suspended without pay, and all District Equipment be confiscated pending the outcome, and official publication of same. A failure to act now, by this Board, will seriously compromise the ability of the Fire District to provide Fire Protection Services to this community, and expose the Fire District, and the Board of Fire Commissioners to Civil Liabilities.
Sincerely,

James Polanco
Deputy Chief
Aberdeen Township Hose & Chemical Company #1

I heard rumors about this but I would like to ask this Mr. Polanco if there were any witnesses to this alleged assault and why did you not go to the police for such a matter?

Just more FD bullshit and ??? said...

Coach Tag won't do a thing.

Police Chief Powers won't do a thing.

Town Manager Criscuolo won't do a thing as it is said he is said to be just two weeks from taking up space in Old Bridge as the Town Manager rather than collecting dust here any longer as Kauff's puppet. Good luck Old Bridge you will for sure need it.

The joke here in Aberdeen is that the Town Council won't do a damn thing especially since two of the Fire Commissioners are no less guilty of malfeasance and official misconduct. The Town Council in its entirety should also be investigated for their inactions and complete and total disregard of the sworn oaths. As well as Lauro and Vinci serving on both the Fire Dept. and Town Council where the joke that is their inability to stop the arrogance, ignorance and unethical behavior of Auriemma or Kauff is just more proof of their guilt on numerous criminal offenses in their official and sworn leadership positions along with their unethical behavior and official misconduct shown here time and time again.

So it's just another corrupt day in Aberdeen?

Just another day until the Feds arrive that is.

Right Chief Lou Auriemma?

Right Norman Kauff?

Right FD Commissioner-Councilman James Lauro?

Right FD Commissioner-Councilman Vincent Vinci?

As for the others it will just be more ammunition for Governor Christie, Atty. General Dow and the D.O.J. So just add this to to the two investigations already underway in Aberdeen.

One final question. Is this Alan Falk person highlighted no less guilty of official or legal misconduct in his role in the Fire Department or as an attorney for possible improper or unethical advice, inaction or his own official malfeasance?

So many questions.

Maybe this will disclose the money issue as well.

What can Auriemma have on these people that they let him be out of control all these years?

Well its about time someone did something about this secretive crap going on at the firehouse. I have seen this individual Lou get away with too much over to many years and am glad someone had the balls to address this publically. I am not suprised the Commissioners have taken no action because they are nothing put pawns controlled by Chief Lou when in fact he is nothing but a glorified Office Manager with no credentials. These commisioners sit on their butts and collect a heafty stipen to simply say yes when Lou says yes and no when Lou says no. God rest his soul but Mr. Falco would never have let it get to this point. Maybe I will join again if Chief Lou is shit down.

What a shame, what once was revered as the best department of the Bayshore area is now subject to Joey's Aberdeener therefore in the same league as the school district. History states that those who create strongholds are the same individuals who bring them down. Not sure if you know how to use a computer Lou besides solitaire but some people at the top like to get out at the top. You blew it but I imagine your arrogance would not permit you to disappear and to no suprise, as a fellow paeseno we are to head strong, you must be Sicilian? I was going to be anonymous but after learning some ramifications have been taken for members expressing their 1st ammendment rights I will stay low key. I just learned that since Mr. Polanco has filed both internal and formal charges agaist the District Chief there has been some sort of an exodus of members either physically or mentally. Only two company officers exist out of a required six and one of those likes to have his photo taken during working structure fires. Moral has been at its lowest since the companies inception. Certain athoritative persons cite individuals no longer there as those stirring the pot yet it is those still active rocking the boat. At one time Lou retired and should have kept it that way but know look where the company is at. Oh well, typical Aberdeen, it all catches up to everyone in the end but always too soon for some.

Mr. Polanco, you seem like a bright boy but let me tell you where you f---ked up. When that grease ball shoved you the first time you should of layed down, called the police and had that motherf'er arrested immediately for assault while all your witnesses were there. Now it's later on in this soap opera and wait and see that people don't remember, all of a sudden things get hazy, who is covering for who, etc, etc. You should have done it right then and there.
In the end the only thing accomplished will be the public airing of the FD's laundry, stories at the local brew house and a department that looks like a bunch of Keystone Firemen.
By the way, now that Joey Warren is living in NY there seems to be an awful lot of criticism of the FD and PD on this blog. I guess there is safety in miles.

Pre Levitt Townie said...

Safety in miles, lol, isn't that the truth? That whiny little pussy didn't certainly brought it up a notch as far as cops and firemen are concerned, once he went back to where he came from.

Long overdue said...

Are you saying that criticism of the police or fire agencies is unfair? When did criticism of taxpayer agencies agencies become unfair? Agencies whose possible out of control spending or equally out of control leadership or both that has been swept under the rug, ignored or not surprisingly politicized far too often. This latest leadership mess and much more we don't know about yet fully all goes back to the one and only Norman Kauff. Yes even this FD crap goes back to Kauff. If you don't think that firehouse and its membership are not indebted and maybe even enslaved to Kauff and his democratic party you're wrong. That house and its leadership has been integral and controlled by Kauff a long time. Not long ago it was suggested on this blog site that Chief Auriemma sits in on Kauff meetings. It was also suggested that approvals for buildings had possibly been approved or would be approved for the purchase of FD vehicles or equipment by the developers possibly in exchange for Chief Auriemma giving his approval. This one incident that was shown to cause internal unrest was the theft by Chief Auriemma of our Ford Expedition. When you deal from under the deck this type of thing always comes back to roost at Chief Auriemmas doorstep. Maybe the commissioners over there can restart the illegal poker games to Chief Lous house since this post and the investigation is not good for fundraising. Maybe the money for the statue Chief Auriemma wants will be needed to cover unnecessary legal bills to defend the problem the commissioners over there should have dealt with a long time ago. I applaud brother Palanco and would turn out anytime with him. It is time the old guy gets what he deserves. It is long overdue.

THE WORST THING IS THAT THEY KNOW IT TO. I AM SAD AS TO WHAT HAS BECOME OF THE MAN THAT BUILT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT INTO WHAT IT WAS WHO IS NOW AND FOR TOO LONG BEEN THE ONE TEARING IT DOWN. LOU NEEDED TO GO YEARS AGO BUT HIS THIRST FOR POWER WON'T ALLOW IT. SOON ENOUGH HE WILL BE IN A NURSING HOME YELLING INSTRUCTIONS AT THE NURSES AND PEOPLE WHO WILL EMPTY HIS BED PAN. YELLING COMMANDS AS THOUGH HE WAS IN HIS PROBABLE DEMENTED STATE STILL ABLE TO GIVE ORDERS. IF WHAT IS SAID IS TRUE AND LOU IS NOT FOLLOWING PROCEDURES AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS THEN HE IS A LIABILITY THE AUTHORITIES EITHER IN TOWN HALL OR IN THE LLOYD ROAD FIRE BUILDING BETTER DEAL WITH AND NOW. IT IS NOW VERY PUBLIC RECORD AND HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY REPORTED THAT LOU IS ENDANGERING HIMSELF AND MAYBE OTHERS IN HIS REALM. NOT TO MENTION HE MAY BE ENDANGERING AS WELL THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND BUSINESSES. BETTER GET THE KAUFF LEGAL EAGLES TO TELL YOU WHAT THE LIABILITY IS TO THE TOWN AND ITS TAXPAYERS ARE MAYOR T. BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE TO DENY CULPABILITY OR THAT OLD POLITICAL EXCUSE THAT WE WERE NEVER TOLD. ALL OF YOU WERE TOLD AND BETTER WAKE THE F UP NOW.

To all Aberdeeners,

Just had a long conversation with Mr Polanco. It appears that the "Old Man" still has some fight in him and the lies that he told to the Fire Company he repeated to the Police. He signed an aggravated Assault complaint against Jim Polanco after he was processed for a similar complaint made against him for the same offense. So the Aberdeen Police Department doesn't have to investigate the incident because they will view it as one guys word against the others. Apparently Lou is getting quality leagal advise. They will not find out and do not realize that Mr Polanco has no less than 6 witnesses that will tell the truth and hang Lou Auriemma. There is only one witness that backs Lou's story somewhat and he's got bad eyesight. I wonder if when all is said and done will Lou ever be charged with filing a false Police Report? I also wonder why anyone would lie for Lou under oath putting their own well being, money, house, and future in jeopardy to a lawsuit for him. Must be some potent Kool-Aid he serves his cronies! It's one thing to back his lies told to the Fire Company to excuse his criminal behavior but it is another when you have to swear to it under oath and be held accoutable for lying when the lies are revealed. Can you spell perjury? I just do not understand what Lou has on all these people to achieve such loyalty. Maybe they should all just fess-up and go to jail and be done with it.

I know Mr Polanco, and he is a good man. Also as an former NYC Police Officer and before that a soldier in the US Army, he is not one to back down when he knows he is in the right. If I were the individuals targeted by his letter, I would take heed.

Just because you tell a lie again and again over a long period of time does not make it true. Of course many will believe and in the end when all is revealed only the truth will prevail!

Time to end the embarassment said...

Lou and the other mafiosos will do the exact same thing that scumbag politicians do. They will deny, deflect and defend themselves right up until Lou is found guilty, the commissioners are found incompetent or the judge finds Lou justly guilty . You can be sure their will be a full court press by the mafiosos against all the witnesses. Don't forget the statements made when the incident happened in the first place. That would all be a crucial part the commissioners will not be able to explain away. They should also look at trying to explain the fact that a supervisor abuses members for years. Vinnie better make a call and see if Bruce Cutler is still practicing law and defending organized crime figures. That is what this firehouse really is just organized crime. That building is little more than a social club like the Ravenite place that Gotti had his criminal enterprise operating out of in Brooklyn. One final honorable mention goes to the post that mentioned that the catered food sucks. Every year the same crap food. You can bet all the old guys took food home again this year. They all love that crap. At least Alan can get some money out of Lou's latest screw up. There is still time to do the right thing commissioners. Stop defending the man you should have stopped years ago. It is sad to watch Lou self destruct and embarrass the rest of us in the process. Now you know why other houses don't want to respond if Lou or his Don is in charge of scenes. Stop the insanity before someone gets hurt or worse.

Crypt keeper episode said...

When Lou goes to trial that courtroom scene will look like and episode of the crypt keeper. It will be a perfect picture with all the old guys lined up against the wall full of the holes of their dishonesty. Such a scene would be reminiscent of the old St. Valentines Day Massacre movie starring George Raft that they show on the TMC network every so often. The funny thing is that these guys aren't embarrassed by all that this Lou thing is causing the volunteers who actually respond to fires. There is something to be said for older members who have served their time but this situation is way over the top.

Anonymous said...

Lets see one guy who cannot see past his nose will claim that he did not see Lou touch anyone. Then six or so people will say that Lou put his hands on brother JP in his usually domineering abusive way. How much of our house money will be wasted defending this arrogant, over the hill and useless old man? What does he have on all of them to keep staying on. I suppose the catering comment was a jab at Lou for Joe Macleer. He had his moments with Lou caused by the house caterer to.

That does not forgive what has been thrust upon my husband and many others. It is time for the problem to go away and far more members know that the Chief and those who wrongly protect him are truly the ones at fault here. Face the facts before this firehouse falls. Is it worth it to save one mean old man who has been the root cause of many problems.

What happened to men and women in leadership roles doing the right thing in our society? It clearly seems that a few men whose complete and total disregard for honesty has ruined the town leadership and even our volunteer services. How can these people sleep at night? How can people who work with, serve with or compensate such people not stand up and be counted? Too often people in the past who have stood up and pointed out the inadequacies, improprieties, ethical lapses, official misconduct or possible illegal activities are ostracized and publicly smeared by those possibly guilty of the above themselves. What happened to an honorable organization like the volunteer fire fighting agency in Strathmore? How can its leadership not have acted officially and quickly to forestall this embarrassment? This possibly official and divisive allowing of such suggested abusive behavior by officials suggested on here at present and in the past is very troubling.

I myself am an older gent who sees too often the decay of societal structures and considerations while those who fail in their official or elected responsibilities hold themselves up to be honest and dedicated to their cause, council or service. In this instance the entire leadership board of the fire service should hold a public meeting to explain their possible inaction in this case.

Too often abuses of this type are too often just allowed and dismissed without realizing the damage such repeated behavior can cause in a far reaching manner. Such damage is very detrimental while all to subtle.

I urge the fire leadership to look at this seriously and put aside the suggested long relationship and have some serious consideration for the young members who may be seriously damaged or put off if this suggested arrogance and maltreatment is allowed to continue yet again.

While I applaud what has been suggested as Mr. Auriemma's dedicated service and instrumental history of service it is his possibly his unjust and as suggested improper behavior most recently disclosed herein that may unfortunately be his self caused unfortunate legacy. Cooler heads should have prevailed long before this very public display.

I am not a person who has ever posted on here before. I have viewed with an impartial opinion much of what I have seen on here for the past two years. I take much of what I read with a grain of salt. This topic though is very disturbing on many issues and all I can say is that this entire situation rests at the feet of the fire house leadership that most importantly owes all members an explanation and healing assurances to ensure the service continues properly for the future. The commissioners and all leaders involved owe that to the community that funds and counts on a cohesive and properly led volunteer service to assist them responsibly.

Thank you all.

You should be ashamed of your selves all of you! This has gotten way out of control. This more or less could have been avoided by sitting down like men and hashing this out.Two personalities clash and the fire co is in the shit house again. We are sopposed to be professionals here instead you to thick headed members are dragging this fire co through the biggest embarresment of its history!!!!!!! Before its to late and the tax payers are put to the expence, all of you sit down and meet ! Anywhere in the working world an altercation takes place people on either side are suspended until the investigation reveals the truth.Thats when it is dealt with, not in this manner. You all seem to forget the one thing that many parents have installed in their children, and that is you can do so many things right and that one thing what ever it may be you do wrong you are held accountable. that seems to have gone by the way side here. The longer you put off the inevitable the longer its going to rebuild this place. The people that are making this difficult are the people that will be long gone (and i say that with the utmost respect). Try letting the younger guys handle this without having the influence and the coments about how is ruining this place, its clear what and who put this place in the shape that its in.PLEASE before its to late.
The one thing that is a shame is that we are the laughing stock of the county and they dont give a shit, or they are in that much denial,or the men dont really know what the fuck they are doing running this place.
Thats all that needs to be said about this .i would love to put my name to this but the ramifacations of that would be by far to great, meaning that so and so got on the band wagon with the rest of them, and we are the ones ruining this fire co thats what you have to deal with in this place

Make it public and open said...

Move the election to a date on the calendar when people already come out to vote and maybe the FD and the schools would stand a chance. The FD likes that they have a vote when the public don't care or even know how or what to vote for much less being informed as to what the costs and monies expended in the building really are. Those items along with the obvious and all too public under whose questionable and now all too obvious questionable control. What has been ignored, belittled, and perhaps illegally and unethically handled needs to be out in the open and public. Don't blame the new members blame those who ignored the problem individual and his arrogance for far too long. That is what caused all of this embarrassment some of you complain should have stayed in house. Now all of a sudden the older members express that opinion when they had no opinion on the individual who caused all the problem. The list of people who had problems with Lou is a very long one so the main culprit is Lou not the one who finally said he had enough. Think about it. If the FD has been given legal advice from within the FD by a member or officer he will possibly have to recuse himself since he has a personal relationship and obviously knows of that individuals checkered past. Another bill for the commissioners to pay for something they should have taken care of a long time ago perhaps.

Hostile factions are being formed and will be used for strategic purposes in the never ending drama of Aberdeen political brinkmanship. For Anonymous @ 5:47,

I hate to disappoint you but in my opinion Mr Polanco's Police Training served him well. In an obviously difficult situation he kept HIS composure and dealt with the situation in an honorable manner. Denegrating him because he did not stoop to Lou's level is unfair.

Besides if he decked the old son-of-a-bitch and seriously injured or killed him where would he be? Typical short sightedness from someone without any knowledge of law enforcement strategy or tactics.

Also the Aberdeen Police are just as well trained and capable as any Police Department in the country.

THE ABERDEEN POLICE DID NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE ASSAULT AND WILL THE EXCUSE THAT NOBODY CALLED US. MAYBE NOBODY CALLED THEM BUT YOU CAN BET THEY HEARD ABOUT IT RIGHT AWAY. THE POLICE IN TOWN WON'T DO A THING BECAUSE OF THE SAME TOO CLOSE AND ALLEGIANT TO LOU TYPE RELATIONSHIP JUST LIKE THE COMMISSIONERS HAD.

NO ONE CAN DENY THAT SUCH RELATIONSHIPS AS THOSE TWO RELATIONSHIPS ALSO ALLOWED THE MAN AT THE CENTER OF THIS WHOLE AVOIDABLE MESS TO FESTER AND BECOME MORE ARROGANT BY LOOKING THE OTHER WAY FOR FAR TOO LONG.

THE LEADERSHIP TYPE PEOPLE TOO CLOSE TO LOU WHO HAVE WRONGLY PROTECTED AND SADLY DEFENDED LOU ALL THESE YEARS WHO NOW WANT US TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS DEP. CHIEF POLANCO THAT CAUSED ALL THIS TO HAPPEN.

LOOK UNTO THYSELF FOR THE TRUTH AND CONSEQUENCES THAT THE PEOPLE ABOVE CAUSED.

No victim no crime. Hear what you want but if no one makes a formal report there is no crime. Doesn't seem from reading all of this that anyone was hurt or had visible injury. It says he was processed and signed counter complaints. Don't blame the police they did what needed to be done now its in the courts hands.

Anonymous said...

you mean the police don't have to investigate the incident before the court has a say. They shouldn't talk to the witnesses determine from that what actuallt happened and report that to the court. I know the individuals involved tried to handle this internally and declined police involvement at first. It seems clear that they want the police involved to help get the TRUTH out there for all to see.

Anonymous said...

Statement for what? They will be under oath in court. The charges were signed against each other. The court determines if the complaints hold any water (Probable Cause) to have the hearing. I am sure there are police reports on the incident. Its not like either one is denying what happened.

Anonymous said...

Not everyone can take off work to be in court and the police have a duty to investigate the allegations.

FD Advocate said...

Firefighter for life,

What you said is correct except for one small detail. That was tried already in the beginning and one party refused to take responsibility and blatantly lied about the incident and to this day refuses to recant his lie come clean and apologize. Add that to the support of the Commissioners. This is why it is being brought into the light of day.

The last resort of the innocent.....PUBLICITY!!!!!

Anonymous said...

1/7/11 @ 5:17p, FD Advocate said that he was processed and then signed counter complaints for similar charges. Investigation done. It goes to court as long as the judge finds cause. Nothing to investigate. Police did their job, took reports, took complaints, made arrest. Now the judge will make a decision. There is no physical evidence just people that were there making accusations. You were there and involved you have a civic duty to go to court and testify if called on.

Anonymous said...

Sorry but the police haven't spoken to a single witness. I know because I checked with the rest and I am one of them. Not even a phone call.

Right old man? said...

The duty fell to the fire commissioners who dropped the ball and did not protect their membership. TRUE!

The fire department lawyer has a personal relationship and should excuse himself having given info that may be questionable to say the least.

Evidence will be presented of this incident and will without a doubt include past incidents and questionable behaviors by the old guy.

If this was my situation I would subpoena every member who has served in that building as a fire fighter or commissioner who is still alive and competent. *Wait doesn't that leaves a whole bunch of commissioners out of being able to testify*

Anyway let everyone of them faithful to the old man plead the 5th in an open court. Let witness after long serving volunteer fire fighter put his hand on the bible and either lie or be proven a liar before a judge.

Let the old guy have to sit in the chair and answer to incident after incident or recollection and memory of member after member in front of a judge.

Maybe the old man will be smart and just plead guilty to that which he himself knows is the truth. He put his hands on another member who interceded in a much younger member being berated, a younger member in a long line of younger members who have felt the wrath of the old man time after time after time.

That is the reality of the old mans disintegration of what once was and what is now a laughing stock.

Right old man?

Anonymous said...

Hello Beavus!!! THEY DON'T NEED TO SPEAK WITH WITNESSES. THE COMMISIONER AND CHIEF ALREADY SIGNED COMPLAINTS AGAINST EACH OTHER PRIOR TO POLICE INVOLVEMENT. The complaints will be reviewed by the judge now to see if there is cause for the charges to be heard in court. When they wanted no police involvement the police don't need to be involved. There is no physical evidence of an assault. No one was injured. So all words. Again, NO VICTIM NO CRIME. No wonder why there are so many problems in this department. You people don't listen and just want to bash anyone you can. I will bet the final outcome is the case is thrown out, and before you start, NO I am not an Aberdeen Police officer.

Where are all the people defending the often suggested arrogant and abusive fire chief? Where are the fire department commissioners publicly proclaiming that they did their duty as all this unfortunate and totally avoidable situation evolved? Where are all the satisfied and appreciative members of that fire department publicly proclaiming their admiration and respect for the embattled fire chief who are not afraid to be publicly identified? Where are all the fire chiefs locally and all around the county to stand up for their supposedly respected by all colleague? The truth is that all of the above know full well of the abusive, arrogant and disruptive behavior that has been too long allowed. Behavior that has come home to roost at the feet of the commissioners and also the older members who failed to protect the junior members of an all volunteer organization. This is sadly shown all of us that this is a group that for too long looked the other way and improperly allowed improper and abusive conduct and other long rumored illegal activities that may have been allowed to appease this one too powerful and feared man. The fact that the chief filed complaints against his accuser does nothing to negate the well known past history of a man who has been the fire departments main problem for too many years. Long past is the time for memorializing the hard work and dedication of the man who has allowed his ego and thirst for power and position to abuse others with a certain immunity from superiors who followed rather than leading . This man needs to do the honorable thing and own up to his latest act of abuse that has divided those who have not respected him for some time now versus those who stood by silently. Look unto thyself I say to those of you who looked the other way who are no less guilty and who should not stand against the man who is now defamed for standing up and finally saying enough is enough when you should have long ago. The phrase enough is enough is often overused. It is not overused in the instance as it truly exemplifies this instance. This instance when a mans historic positives are far outweighed by this final abusive act too long allowed by those who failed in their official responsibilities.

The old man has never had an issue lying, he's done it his whole life and lied to 30 volunteers about the assault at a meeting and the words came out as if there was not even an issue. There is a word for an individual who believes in his own lies but it escapes me. Lou cares about no one but himself on this matter and does not care who he takes down with him.

I want the readers of this site to remember that the volunteers have NOTHING to do with this matter and were and have been subject to the district Chief's wrath so please continue to support them as you have in the past. They are all hurting because of his actions and who knows if they will ever recover. Unfortunately his bosses, the Commissioners, do not have the members best interest at hand and unfortunately are only thinking about themselves. the Kool Aid they have ingested is powerfull for reasons unbeknownst and they will unfortunatly understand this before its to late so shame on them. This is a disgrace and a huge black eye to the members of Oakshades.

ITS CALLED MALFEASANCE JUST SO YOU KNOW. SWORN AND ELECTED OFFICIALS DID NOT DO AS THEY ARE SWORN AND PAID TO DO IN THIS TOWN IN VARIOUS ELECTED AND PAID POSITIONS.
IT IS CALLED OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT THAT THE INVESTIGATION WILL CULMINATE IN EVENTUALLY.
BUT WE ALL MUST REMEMBER THAT THIS THING IS ALL "JUST BUSINESS NOTHING PERSONAL" JUST LIKE THE CRIMINAL ENTERPRISES WE SEE ON TV AND IN THE NEWS. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THIS ORGANIZED CRIME SYNDICATE OCCUPIES OUR COUNCIL CHAMBERS, LOCAL BOARDS AND COMMITTEES, TOWN MANAGERS OFFICE, POLICE HEADQUARTERS AND OTHER GOVERNMENTAL OR TAXPAYER FUNDED BUILDINGS LIKE THE FIREHOUSE. BUILDINGS WHERE LEADERSHIP IS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR, IMPROPERLY CONTROLLED AND UNETHICALLY ALLOWED TO DO ALL AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE.
PEOPLE IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS IN ALL OF THE ABOVE HAVE FAILED US AND EVERYONE OF THEM KNOW IT. TOO BAD THEY HAVE CONVINCED THEMSELVES THAT THEY ARE SOMEHOW UNTOUCHABLE. ARE THEY? THEY MOST CERTAINLY ARE NOT UNTOUCHABLE AND I THINK THEY ARE VERY SOON TO GET THAT MESSAGE UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. LAUGH AS SOME HAVE OFTEN DONE ABOUT INFORMATION SUPPLIED ON HERE THIS IS NOT ONE THEY ARE REALLY LAUGHING ABOUT. THAT SOME ON HERE BELIEVE THAT INFORMATION ABOUT ABERDEEN DID NOT REACH THE GOVERNORS OFFICE AND POSSIBLY WAS PROPERLY TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY IS PLAUSIBLE.

**********BUT**********

THIS TIME AN OFFICIAL LETTER WAS IN FACT SENT TO PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT LOOK THE OTHER WAY BECAUSE OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DEFENDANT. THAT IS WHAT THIS MAN IS NOW A DEFENDANT AND THE FACT THAT HE PROBABLY WAS TOLD TO COUNTER HIS ABSOLUTE GUILT IN THIS ENTIRE EMBARRASSING AND AVOIDABLE INCIDENT BY CHARGING THE MAN ASSAULTED. THIS WILL ASSUREDLY HAVE AN OFFICIAL RESULT IN A COURT OF LAW AND IN FRONT OF A JUDGE IN A COURTROOM THAT IS NOT ATTACHED TO THE CONTROLLING PARTIES WHO HAVE BROUGHT, MAINTAINED AND PROFITED OFF OF THE VARIOUS LEVELS OF CORRUPTION FOR TOO LONG NOW IN ABERDEEN. MYSELF I FEEL BAD FOR THOSE WHO WILL BE PAYING A SERIOUS PRICE FOR THEIR MISCONDUCT. THESE PEOPLE ALL OF THEM SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER BUT WERE TOO EASILY LED.
THAT WILL NOT BE A PLAUSIBLE EXCUSE IN COURT.

Where is councilman Cannon with his Magna Cum Scumbag legal prowess in all of this? Any chance he might be justly telling Coach Fred and the rest of the Normie team that since they have been officially advised by Polanco that it really means that the town officials and the joke of a manager finally need to do something about this whole fire guy situation. The fact that the fire building over there receives tax dollars and is under their fiscal control demands that they do something in spite of their ignoring this from the start for of course highly questionable Vinny and Jimmy connected reasons. The council should consider finally doing something now rather than continue to sit like the foolish monkeys that they are. Normie monkees of course that speak no evil, hear no evil and see no evil. If Polanco is smart he will subpoena every single one of them to testify when they knew what. Such puppets they are and the best thing is that Normie won't be able to pull their Normie puppet strings and work all of their mouths in court before a judge he does not appoint and control. Yes even this comes back to Normie. The council keep ignoring Lou, the railroad ticket thug, inflated sewer and water bills, corrupt developer meetings with Normie calling the shots and more corrupt stuff that is all done for reasons only Normie knows for sure. Nah. It will take more than that after all the Normie years of corruption and thievery. Right Normie? By the way Normie when you going to fix the rollerblade surface? But be the guy who stands up and finally says enough is enough and he is the one not to believed and be ostracized for daring to stand up and demand those whose job or duty was to take official action do so and he is the bad guy. So much for responsible leadership at multiple levels in Aberdeen needs to be said. When this is all adjudicated in a court of law and the legal or punitive bills are paid all those involved and who may be left to lead next time better do just that. This is a big lesson for all involved.

Councilman's conduct shamefully typical said...

No one should be shocked at this specific councilman using a handicapped authorized only parking spot. This blog site has pointed out time and time again this councilman's dishonesty, selfishness and total disregard for anything close to his sworn and official duty. From the alleged numbers running while in his official position said to have been done while he was supposedly a sworn officer of the law, the recent two $1.00 land grabs and most shamefully and way too costly to local taxpayers was the $850k intersection mess. A cost authorized and allowed just to keep his street to selfishly restricted to regular citizens travel. That street like no other street in our town is questionably restricted. No less troubling is the installation of not one but two large signs warning stating to all that no one is to dare to block this councilman's now private street. I can assure you as I ride my bike past there on Saturday mornings it is hard for me not to vomit as I pass this street. It is truly the public embarrassment and shame of the area. Shame that such a thing was allowed just for this one councilman when other areas are well deserved of warning signs like schools and pedestrian crosswalks in other areas like where my mother stays during the day near CVS. But those would be used for just lowly taxpayers and we don't matter in this councilman's world. So my fellow taxpayers don't dare block that councilman's street if you know what is good for you. To have such audacity, nerve and chutzpah is all to typical of such selfish politicians like this councilman. So with this type of councilman and his selfish illegal history. So his parking illegally in a handicapped parking spot is nothing to be concerned about. After all people he is a councilman and that certainly makes him better than us slave like taxpayers. Perhaps we will see on election day how special he will feel. Perhaps it is time he becomes an ignored taxpayer like us and for good.

So this weeks local Independent newspaper has an article about the town manager resigning and heading to Old Bridge...And the" " Mayor adds his a$$-kissing remarks about him!! What a joke....So rumor has it now that a woman will be temporarily taking the hot seat...let's just hope she is not in with the corrupt morons up there, and hopefully she does not turn into a puppet also...but then again she was probably told to do as told.....we shall see

Another manager goes bye bye said...

Another town manager is leaving the town. What is it with this town and keeping managers. Is someone tossing management to the wind too often in Aberdeen for the wrong reasons once again.

In reading the article on the manager leaving I am only left with one question for the town leadership and the mysterious Mr. Kauff. If this soon to leave manager is truly as experienced and valued as what I have read on the website today than why didn't they just pay him the difference in money to keep him in Aberdeen.

You may have been a good coach to my son years ago but your written words I have read on line today don't make one bit of sense to me. It seems you took the leap from coach to politician and left your honesty on the baseball diamond. Too bad is all I can say to that.

If you believe the anonymous statement posted on here some time ago that Stewart Brown supposedly had 25 things the town leadership could show that he did not do his job? So the town leadership paid Brown for six full months, had him sign a non disclosure agreement to never speak about his time as the Town Manager? That never seemed true in the least to many of us in town but we moved onto another Town Manager after what was said to be an exhaustive search. With that search completed after almost a year as I recall our then Mayor Sobel made the following statements welcoming Joseph Criscuolo as the new manager of Aberdeen at that time. Mayor Sobel said at that time that "his * Joe Criscuolo* employment history is replete with increasing levels of responsibility and a 'can-do' attitude. His integrity shined through each time we interacted with him. Though it took a long time to get to this point, we wanted to be sure that we made a decision which would make Aberdeen proud to refer to Joe as its new Township Manager".

If you read the tribute that Mayor Tagliarini says in today's newspaper as it is announced once again that another Town Manager is leaving an article that is filled with similarly overly complimenting statements, which of course are made as another man leaves the top management position. The article reads somewhat unconvincingly to be the truthful in this instance. So let us believe for an instant that Joseph Criscuolo leaves the top management position with so much experience and applause from the Mayor of Aberdeen? I too then must ask the one simple question. Why let him leave if he has all of this experience that a town like ours needs. Experience needed especially in such difficult financial times with major developmental properties stalled around town despite the Mayors applause. I and my family live across from the largest and long stalled Anchor Glass that we were showed by Stewart Brown and that we thought had such promise. What happened? Did Stewart Brown take the plans and displays they showed us all of those years ago with him. I'd believe that before the article Mayor Tagliarini's statements today.

I see today in the paper one of the supposed accomplishments listed is the South River site that was supposed to become senior housing. Senior housing that my Mom wanted to move into for over five years now. This latest heralding of another departing Town Manager by Mayor Tagliarini in this one example leads me to believe that all is not as it seems once again. I will admit that both my wife, my son and I were big fans of the former Town Manager Stewart Brown and still feel his departure was no less questionable in its truthfulness. Like they say politics and politicians make for strange bedfellows.

Next, I'm donating Cliffwood to Old Bridge. I'm tired of dealing with those dirtbags.
Then, when Marc gets out of prison, he gets the manager job, and Kelly gets public safety director.
Then, I'm gonna do what my pal Joey did. I'm gonna fire all the town employees, including cops, and hire contractors. Then I will retire to Tahiti.

Norm said...

Actually, I will keep one town employee. Him and I have an understanding. as long as he stays employed, and overpaid, he doesn't write bad things about me.

Seems Norm cannot get over that the guy that he calls out but is to scared to put his name to his comments and criticisms on does his job. Was Joe MC mentioned in the big earners listed recently? No. Was he ever shown to not do his job? Did he ever get sued for doing his job? Do you look around town and like the way it looks? Did you pay for a parking permit and Joe MC do his job making sure your spot was there for you. I cannot get over the one guy who hates the fact that Joe does his job. Joe stands up and is accountable and sure he has a big mouth but where are you Norm? Hiding? You pussy.
By the way did you see the letter he sent to the newspaper complimenting us workers in town. Did you send any letter like that Norm for their hard work? Get a life Norm with the little time you have left.

Judgement Day will come to all said...

The site is three years old now and there have been thousands of posts detailing the hanky panky, pay to play and many more unethical of the man we hear about but no one ever sees. The man supposedly is so powerful that not one elected official will stand up for the people they were elected to serve. Forget municipal employees turning in Kauff. Let the people do their jobs in town and let this Norman Kauff person be taken care of by karma.

My son has tried to do legitimate work in this town for the past couple of years and he is moving on due to the corruption. He tells me many before him have tried and he is done trying and overpaying just trying to do business here in Aberdeen. He says he has talked and talked to public officials and it is truly useless. Some on the inside who try and guide him tell him that every town is this way. Some others say that it's just politics as usual and that they hold all the cards against the business community and residents. All I can say as I watch and listen to my son is to say it's just damn wrong.

I am way past the age to rail against the system and find all too often that the honor of men like Lincoln, Jefferson, F.D.R. and others would be ashamed to be called political leaders themselves today due to what purports to be the political leaders. They would be embarrassed if they were to be measured by what stands so corruptly as elected leadership in America today. From a council chamber in Aberdeen to the oval office in the White House our government leadership is a major disappointment at so many levels that it boggles the mind. Men like Norman Kauff are merely the warts on the ass end of what is the politically corrupt machine that runs and implodes itself selfishly from within, while it selfishly feeds itself the politically connected and money allegiant. Those like Norman Kauff will continue with their corrupt activities despite what is vented on here about him and his alleged misdeeds and the others like him attached to Norman Kauff at the wallet.

While the possibility of justice being served upon Norman Kauff can't come soon enough if all that is placed on here is even partially true it is well deserved. Justice will come eventually as it cannot be escaped from. We are all judged in the end. I hope Norman Kauff is judged and pays for being what he most assuredly i,s a lonely old man whose crimes against us were finally brought to bear upon him on judgement day.

Norm,

I've never been to prison but this not so gentile suggestion makes perfect sense and it really might help you get the attention you may need to save yourself on the inside of the prison you will be in.

SQUEAL LOUDER!

SQUEAL REALLY LOUD NORM!

Squeal (ing-er-est) (painful sound: sounding like SOO WEE) SQUEAL.

SQUEAL- SQUEALING louder Norm like the pig you are. Squealing really loud might get the prison guards attention faster to help get your fellow prisoners from constantly using your old wrinkly body for against your will type depraved inmate on inmate sexual encounters that await you soon Norm.

It's just a suggestion for the man we love to hate.

That of course would be Norman Kauff Esquire.

Post Script: Squeal louder is a term used in the classic movie DELIVERANCE starring in the Norm type character portraying an older man being sexually ravaged by another man. The Norm character abused was portrayed by the great actor Ned Beatty. Norm may want to view this cinema classic over and over again to better understand that important portrayal especially in the epic SQUEAL LOUDER scene before Norm goes to prison for all of his political corruption and crimes against the citizens of Aberdeen and other communities.

I really hope this helps you Norm.

If nothing else it gives us a good laugh on Norm.

YOU SEE PEOPLE IN THE GOVERNORS OFFICE WILL BEGIN TO WONDER WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE LEADERSHIP OF ABERDEEN. THAT ALSO MEANS INVESTIGATORS START COMING INTO ABERDEEN AND TURNING OVER THE BOULDERS TO SEE WHAT CORRUPTION CRAWLS OUT FROM UNDERNEATH.

WE CAN ALL BE SURE THAT THERE IS PLENTY TO CRAWL OUT ONCE THE FEDERAL BADGE GETS SHOWN TO THE WEAK LINKS IN THE THE

I would like tell the readers on this site that I have heard that Aberdeen resident Michael Ash has decided to run for Fire Commissioner. From what I have learned, Michael was a past volunteer and is now an exempt member who has pretty much had it with what has and has not been going on with the district. This is a great opportunity to set them back a notch and have someone in there that cares about what goes on and would not be ruled by their subordinate employee (District Chief). There are two positions up this February, E. Paul Percussi and your pal and mine, Vinnie Vinci. I don't know much about Mr. Percussi other than he is probably part of the problem but we all know Vinci and I will leave it at that.

I implore the residents of Aberdeen to vote on Saturday at the firehouse on Lloyd Road on 2/19/11 for Michael Ash. The polls open at 2PM and close at 9PM. Tell your neigbors and anyone who lives in Aberdeen. A vote for Mike is a vote against Vinci.

Anonymous said...

Dear "please vote", are you kidding me, I too would like to see Mr. Ash in there but even if that jerk off Vinci gets voted out, Lou will make one of the other Commissioners (Steve or Paul)retire so he can then slip his boy Vinny right back in there. I think its a great start to have someone in there that won't take any bullshit and knows how to stand up for himself but it would be an up hill climb. I will vote for Mike election day but know this, Lou is going to be pulling people out of the wood work to try and keep his good ole boy network together.

If you read this blog Mike, good luck and you have my vote.

Fire house meeting ??? said...

Anyone hear if anything interesting happened last Tuesday night at the fire house weekly meeting? Did even one of the members question the goings on. That is of course not include all the active Lou allegiant members whose silence was ensured by the Lou code of silence. Did anyone finally stand up and say enough is enough? Did the commissioners finally pull the pin on Lou and his years of arrogance and abuse of members, officers and the laws of the state and send Lou packing to the old abusive firemen's home? Tell me someone did something to stop the embarrassment that is Lou.

Anonymous said...

I heard Lou showed up at the meeting and proceded to rape the chief, in front of the members, while telling them that this is what he does to rats in his house.

After sodomizing the chief, he branded his ass cheek with his cigarette.

Then, he grabbed a pike pole, and beat several other members over the head with it, putting one of them in a coma. Of course, none of them will come forward, because they know Lou will make them disappear, if they don't heed his warnings. I will remain anonymous because I don't want to be next.

It's like they say it takes a whole lot of ingredients to make sauce. Don't think that this year will be typical for Kauff. Many think that this is the year that Aberdeen gets put under the microscope. Of course this will be rebuffed by the couple anonymous types and fake Norm. Election schmelection Kauff is finally under scrutiny and I hope the town council finally sees all the problems Kauff and CM&E has caused. I hope the council cuts Kauff's achilles tendon so he can't walk to his secret taxpayer bank hidden in his garage.

By the way I really respect and appreciate the honesty of the father who put himself out there detailing how expensive it is to do business in Aberdeen. It is sad that a young man trying to do business here has moved on due to the excessive costs and corruption that follows. Like they say follow the money trail. Did you not get the memo? Kauff and the gang are paying out a lot of money on all the road programs going back years tonite. You know what that means? Kauff, CM&E and other Kauffies get big paydays yet again at taxpayers expense yet again. Looks like the campaign funding season has started? Knowing Norm he will start his first campaign flier mailings really soon outlining all the democrats have really not done for all of us? It looks good while it really is just more Kauff bullshit. There will be the usual campaign pictures with candidates pictured along the beachfront, the 34/Lloyd improvement picture that the local electeds had nothing to do with it getting done at all, the award being given to Art Perri recently is a strong possibility as it seems getting awards is typically arranged just before campaign candidates are picked by Kauff to fill his svengali type controlling need. It also usually involves local fraternal clubs or sports groups not so surprisingly linked questionably to Kauff or by needing money from the dems. That is what these bullshit and fake or false awards given just in time for the Kauff corrupt campaign kickoffs. The same goes for the Kauff controlled boards and committees.Just like last year when Greg Cannon came out of nowhere and they made sure they put him on a bullshit board for a month or two just cause it looks good on the corrupt Kauff campaign literature. Nothing is as it seems in Kauffville people.
Go Michael Vail run for commissioner. Then run for council. You could keep an eye on both of those corrupt leadership jokes in town. Then there is the annual campaign literature lies that says our leaders really care about our senior citizens. They don't care one bit and their false statements and pictures show it and even though the dems seniors reality is that the senior housing they promised five years ago and that was to be built three years ago is still only paying huge monies to Kauff and CM&E. Big monies paid year after year while the ground remains blank of anything with no benefit for our taxpayers and residents. That is the Kauff and dems reality in Kaufferdeen. Right Norm?

No PW contract? So what! You think people give a shit about the PW's. Listen, you get a paycheck, right? You took the job, right? You new what you were doing when you took the job, Right? What do want a thank you? OK you're doing a terrific job and "thank you". Now get you lazy asses out there and knock down some of that snow that's still out there.

What is going on with the manager supposedly leaving town. It is like a revolving door here. I know a couple cops who liked the one before this one we have now. They say he was fair and that employee moral was better when he was here. Is he the one who had that burnt building by town hall taken down. That was a great thing if he was the one to clean that place. What this present manager did is not as seeable as that one building coming down. All I saw on that property was a sign and lots of weeds. Is that the senior housing site talked about a couple posts back that was to be built. If we look around not much is getting done. Typical politicians promises and nothing gets done.

The mans name was Stuart Brown and yes we liked him as our manager. The gang that could'nt shoot straight housed just off Van Brackle pushed him out of the job. They will denie that certainly. I hear a couple of people helped them from the inside the building to. Snakes is what they are if it is true. After the molester left it was a good change for workers. That don't matter to the not so straight shooters and thats too bad. I think they have no guilt to this day for doing such a thing and that sucks. Turning on a guy like that will come back there way for sure I hope. Screwing people over like that they should look in there mirror once in a while. If they see no reflection there blood suckers.

Of course the cops liked him. I'd like him too if he gave me a huge raise.

I heard not just the cops but everyone up there liked him except the corrupt mother fuckers...makes you think who is the problem up there with all the managerial changes? ???

Anonymous said...

Drapkin is telling people he is not running again - Anybody hear who Norm is replacing him with??

Right now I'm leaning towards putting in Lou, from the Fire House. I like his leadership style.

Sounds like the PW employees are really pissed at the cops. When the civil service applications were passed out to them, I guess they should have checked the box that said police. Unless they couldn't read it.

Taxpayer at 7:25 needs his ass kicked. Quite obvious he is a Republican piece of shit. Continue watching Glen Beck and watch what happens when there isn't a fair wage for the middle class. They will all be poor. And as history as proven the poor will out number the rich and those that are rich will receive the violence from the poor. I can only hope that the poor will also go over the sycophants who support the right wing corporate agenda.

Minimum wage laws increase unemployment, particularly among the youth looking to gain experience through an entry level position.

The overwhelming majority of minimum wage jobs are for unskilled or entry level positions and minimum wage laws hurt the very people they're intended to help.

Considering the unemployment level among young workers is 25%, I would think your primary concern would be to get them jobs, not raise the cost of employment.

Norm said response, I am sure Kauff would love Lou in his pocket there but Lou lives in Keyport and should not even hold an Aberdeen position that he is ruining for someone who deserves it.

Anonymous said...

Aberdeener,
Wtf are you talking about? I never said anything about minimum wage employees.

Anonymous said...

Taxpayer 7:25,
I apologize! I was referring my comments to the anon poster who thinks people don't deserve cost of living raises.

Aberdeener said...

My bad, then. I thought "fair wage" referred to minimum wage.

I'd like to thank all the voters who took the time to come out and support our fire company (Aberdeen Twp. Hose & Chemical Co. #1. OH!! If most of the positive voters are firemen and their families--I guess they are HAPPY with the status quo!!!!!
