Lies, Damn Lies, and Elections

Well, it’s that time of year again where people lie for political advantage. So, let’s mention some now and feel free to add your own as you hear them.

The MRTA offered a pay freeze but it was rejected by the BOE
This ludicrous claim was recently made on 101.5 FM. Not only is it absolutely false (as in never happened) but runs contrary to MRTA President Kosmyna’s stated position that any concession must guarantee full employment. Well, we’ve got a $7 million hole and, to quote Donald Trump, somebody’s getting fired. But concessions from the MRTA could prevent most budgeted job cuts. It’s all dollar for dollar. Money saved from concessions would go towards job preservation.

The state mandated contributions to health care can be used to save the custodians
The $500,000 savings from the 1.5% contributions is not enough to save the custodians. Future savings could reach $1 million a year. Furthermore, nobody expects the budget to pass when every penny of the tax increase is going towards staff raises. If the budget fails, the health care contributions will probably be used for tax relief, not job preservation.

The school board is endangering our children
The teachers union has been alleging we’ve outsourced custodial services to a company with a reputation for employing undocumented workers. It’s a remarkable claim considering the union knows we’ve not selected anybody, yet, to provide custodial services. All we’ve done is hire a consultant to assist us through the bidding process.

As for allegations that outsourcing custodial services will endanger our students, I’ve not been able to find any local news stories to support the claim. But I have been able to find some New Jersey stories involving district-employed custodians.

Lastly, all custodians will go through standard background checks, including fingerprinting, and the administration will be reviewing security protocols. The schools are safer than they’ve been in years and the board would have never agreed to outsourcing custodial services if we believed it might create a security risk.

The school board is destroying education
This argument is coming from the tax and spend crowd. It’s particularly insulting considering the multiple school board initiatives over the past year, including writing programs, objective educational goals, college readiness, increased rigor, and accountability for all programs, like the recently deceased $2 million-a-year RTI program. The tax and spend crowd also conveniently ignores the public will; our community has a 9-year history of voting against tax increases.

O’Malley got a raise and is overpaid

O’Malley did not get a raise, he got a contract extension and will actually be earning slightly less money next year due to his inability to cash in unused vacation days. As for being overpaid, compared to whom? Quinn, who constantly raised taxes with nothing to show for it and maintained a personal secretary?

If qualified superintendents are a dime a dozen, why are so many districts so poorly run? Last year, we increased O’Malley’s salary by $9,000 beyond the contractual requirements and we’ve been getting our money’s worth.

The board is cutting arts and music programs
This is the Demarest campaign’s latest line (not that there’s any campaign, just a bunch of rumor mongers). I wish we were cutting ceramics but I don’t see it happening. Nor has there ever been any discussion of cutting music programs. The only clubs, classes, etc., that are being cut but were not specifically listed in the latest budget presentation are those that lack sufficient student interest.

The middle and high school libraries are going bookless
No, but the reality is still pretty grim. The librarians for the middle and high school libraries are budgeted to be cut, leaving the libraries under the supervision of library clerks. We may also be able to schedule the remaining librarians to spend some time at the upper schools’ libraries. I agree the absence of librarians will undermine the library experience as well as an understanding of how to do actual research. Without librarians, the libraries will likely morph into media centers. If the budget is approved, I intend to push to restore the librarians.

Demarest doesn’t like me
This, alas, is true but not her other claims. For example, she continues to tell people I “threatened” her. She’s referring to a June email two years ago when I wrote the following:
Pat,

I see in the minutes for tomorrow night's meeting that [first name hidden] Zavorskas is being offered a work study position in the high school.

I just did a search and found that the only people in the white pages named Zavorskas in all of New Jersey happen to live in Cathy's house. I'm assuming this girl is her daughter. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

However, if she is Cathy's daughter, I beg you to deny her appointment. I had received personal assurances that there would be no nepotism. At the very least, this gives the strong appearance of nepotism. The fact that it's Cathy's daughter makes it a virtual certainty.

Please, do not approve this appointment. Despite our differences, I have always respected you as a person of great integrity. However, for myself, I need to draw a line in the sand somewhere. I have been quite restrained lately in my writings regarding the school district. When John and Jan reached out to me, I responded in kind. But I cannot watch something like this happen in my town and be silent.

I have never asked you to choose sides but I'm asking now. Please do not allow this. Otherwise, and I say this hoping it will not come to pass, I will act forcefully to expose and defeat the coalition that elected you as president of the board.

Please, do not let this come to pass.
Best regards,
joey
As an aside, the following year, the board briefly discussed the policy regarding board members’ children taking work study positions. At the time, I asked Mr. Glastein if, in his long experience, he could recall a single instance when a board member’s child applied for a work study position and was not appointed. He said, “No.”

I’m sure we’ll be hearing more stories leading up to the elections. Feel free to share. >>> Read more!

The problem with Joey Warren and the Joey Warren haters is that HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS. No bullshit just the facts. Is he right 95% of the time? YES. I will take that failure rate over most politiucians and school administrators in our unfortunate past. Does Joey Warren have and hold firm on his positions that are counter to union leadership, school staff and adminstration, anonymous bloggers and more? YES he does! That is AMERICA.

It is just like the Howard Stern radio show or Jerry Springer televisions show, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DONT TUNE IN. You can't can you? It is addicitive to respond anonymously where you can embarass people whom you would not trade places with to solve a $7,000,000.00 budget deficit. It is much easier to laugh at yourself while you post anonymously. Yopu really think you are doing something. You are not really. Are you braver to just sit behind your keyboard and blame Joey Warren and everyone but yourself for the problem they themselves did not cause? You think so and that is the truly laughable part of the equation.

Think about it.

Leadership is to be ???? said...

Leadership leads right or wrong.

Can't we all get along?
Rodney King

Wake up people! Governor Christie has an 11 BILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT. Superintendent O'Malley and our school district has a 7 MILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT.

Programs, classes, mandates and more that we all like, count on and need, will be getting cut.

So unless you have money to give to solve these problems. Let them do their jobs. We are too comfortable with leadership that has failed us and moved on. Corzine should be arrested for the financial mess he lied to us about as he tucked tail and ran away.

Corzine and Quinn are our two latest examples of people in leadership who promised us one thing and did the exact opposite. The sad thing is that they got better jobs after failing miserably and leaving us in far worse financial shape then when they came into office.

Yet many of us are no less critical of those who are trying to fix the problems they did not cause. Corzine and Quinn were not leaders. But they left their mark son our state like it or not. Did you criticize them?

I think it has finally come to the point in NJ, where the townships and municipalities have become inept in providing education. So much so, that it's time a major movement needs to be started to privatize education.

Let's face it, where paying almost $6000 per household in school taxes. So it's not a free public education. WE'RE PAYING FOR IT, and flawed process of a school board and teachers union. It's high time the township be stripped of the responsibility of providing education and the Aberdeen-Matawan school district should be disbanded. This is necessary because of the ineptitude of the school boards and unions. As George Carlin said, "kiss her where it smells, take her to NJ"!

Certainly, if left to our own resources, we as the parents can find and provide quality education for our children. Whether it be a catholic school or any other type of private school.

Heed the warning... as a township, and a society, if we don't right this ship and soon, Aberdeen will not be a place young folks will want to put down roots. Infact, that goes for all of NJ. We wonder why NJ is the butt of jokes and the like.

The punchline in the town of Aberdeen is K-A-U-F-F. Yes it all comes back to him. Why don't we have an inhouse lawyer. Why don't we have inhouse engineers. Norm needs to finance his campaign that is why. Get rid of Kauff on the municipal side and that saves you $1million a year that he wrongly gives to his butt buddies. The school may be awash in money troubles to. Kauff is a far worse foe for the taxpayers. He is not educating children with the monies he gives away. it is time to stop Kauff. If Tags won't get on board he can go to.

I'm praying Demerast DOESN'T get back on the school board, otherwise it will be a sad situation for all our children. She never cared about raising standards for the students. She only cared about personal gain for herself, her family and her friends.

I'm sure it kills her that Dr. O'Malley has raised standards and implemented many new programs that are actually teaching children at a higher level.

I don't know Rev. Gattis, but I'd rather take my chances with her than have Demerast back on the board.

Delaney and Gattis get my votes.

You mean Dr.Gabino is not running? The board kicked him out? How does the board stop someone from running? Can they do that?

Kurt Barlow huh? nice to meet you, didn't you buy the Marsten house? My name is Ben Mears, and

Vote fot Demarest?

You and a few other people are the same type that voted for Marion Barry in DC after he was caught smoking crack on tape. Now Sharp James is back too its just lucky coinvicted felons can't run for political office.

Then again convicted or soon to be convicted felons still run the democratic party here in Aberdeen.

Sinking ship..... funny,
Gambino is just a sniviling little wimp who did nothing but whine about how he had to take furlow days at his state job when the custodians were losing theirs, whined about his kid having 20something kids in the class while 20+ teachers were on the chopping block and sat with a pouty face at the last few meetings, like he was a kid denied his desert. Give me a break! A little tip for you Gambino: We bus drivers have noticed that you don't seem to have a fulltime job because your white BMW sits in your driveway most days and you seem to be right on time to pick your kid up from Strathmore most days. Must be nice...if you can pay for TWO BMWs, that furlow must not have hit you too hard. Or are you playing hookey when you are supposed to WORKING? Gee...wonder what Shundler would think about your part time schedule? Me, I think you fit right in with the rest of the sleezebags, are we going to see you creeping back for another run next year? Maybe you can hang out with the Barza roaches and learn how they do it. Sinking ship? The rats and roaches usually do jump first. As for Demerest..all I can say is, what have you done for us lately? You should have stayed home and let some new blood have a chance on the Board. Guess I'll be staying home and watching American Idol next Tuesday.

To the person who wrote the projects wont be built on your street. Where in Matawan or Aberdeen have you a project? There are no projects around here. If you are talking about low income housing . They are 2 different things. I would like to know what neighborhood you live in. Since you think you are better than others.

Anonymous said...

Dr. Gambino decision was his alone? You failed to mention the tension between him and O'Malleys butt buddy Chuck and how he alienated Gambino over the last year when he started to disagree with him. It seems power hungry Chuck got under O'Connells skin lately also. Your next, Joey, if you ever choose to disagree. Or, maybe not. Gambino didn't have this forum to expose him for what he really is. Just ask Tom, he'll tell you since your on such excellent terms and all.

Thanks to all said...

Let us look at such low income housing and section eight realistically. In most every instance police responses increase and criminal activity rises significantly for the surrounding areas residents and neighborhoods. Let us look at other areas where such housing decisions have been made and who allowed it to be approved. My cousin lives in Neptune and the stories she tells us are horrible.

Who profited from such decisions politically and monetarily? That is the answer. Not the local residents for sure made money. Look at who was effected most and least by the rushed placement of such housing in only certain areas of communities. Look at the specific areas where such housing was to have been placed and the very vocal and repeated public outcry. We said to not let it happen in our area meeting after cancelled meeting. Look at the crime reports for such areas where low income housing exists. It is a stark reality that many liberal thinkers are just fine with C.O.A.H., of course those liberal thinkers don't live anywhere near the PROJECTS they think are so fair to us. It is like they say let them eat cake just don't let them eat it in my backyard. Those who pushed politically and greedily for this to happen in our community have been met with a significant outcry from local residents from us in the County Road area. Those who pushed for this to happen wanted the monies to flow into their pockets and campaign coffers over our voices and concerns of us the local residents and tax payers. Those who pushed for it to happen know that putting 200 plus apartments under the present considerations and rules of C.O.A.H. would be looked at by our new state leaders. So as we heard last night on our phone chain we have maybe won a battle but the war rages on. We are not going anywhere and those involved know it. We don't want there projects and they know it. They changed things all along the way and they know they lied to us. They remain very concerned of our opposition and they should be. Those who talked to us and wanted this to happen are free to let it happen near there houses if they want affordable housing so badly. We don't want it so maybe the next time a plan is submitted it will be more considerate of the local tax payers and our community. Residents over the greed and politics that were pushing this PROJECT so much. We are not your dumping ground Mr Norman. I thank all of our friends who helped us stay informed with the phoine chain and fliers. Do not think it is over for any reason. This is just a setback for there greed. They will come back and we will be waiting. Special thanks to Martin and the Stemler folks. Love Margie.

Heck, I don't even know how you'd define a minority, today. I've lost multiple votes, perhaps more than anybody else on the board. Does that put me in the minority? I don't think so.

By all means, the COAH housing issue is not over!!

People from all of Aberdeen need to attend the Zoning board meeting tomorrow night! The agenda states that the town is bumping the number of "UNITS" back up to 132 and think about it. By 4th grade all children of Matawan and Aberdeen join together and are together until 12th grade. So, depending on what type of families move into these "UNITS" , we all can be affected.
And back to the issue of County Road itself, during all the rainy days and flooding on Route 35, the over use of County Road needs to be looked at and if there is that much more traffic due to this 'Project" and more children -- then what?
I always though that if developers were going to build in towns that they are also supposed to account for school expansions and enhancements to accommodate the increase of children (and in this case - you cannot say that there are not going to be more children). So, what are we to do, except go to the meeting tomorrow night
This did start out as a senior housing development and they quickly converted to a basically-government subsidized run project.

Just keep watch on what happens and keep alert to the Council Meeting next Monday-- you should attend as well

Meeting is on and we will go said...

Come on people the projects, affordables or whatever Norman Kauff, CME and the handpicked by Norman Kauff professionals are calling them they are going to happen. They will certainly happen if the following questions do not get asked RIGHT NOW.

1 How many meetings have been held out of public view, were unrecorded and possibly occured in violation of the Sunshine Laws of the State of New Jersey.

2 Who attended any such meetings as legal representatives for the developers?

3 Who if any employees, contractors or officials of Aberdeen or any contractors doing business on the behalf of Aberdeen who may have attended any such meetings in regards to said development.

4 Were any meetings held at the developers offices, CME offices or any other location outside of the Aberdeen town hall facility with any or all of persons listed in #3in attendance of any meeting or discussion related to said projects in the past year.

5 If any such professionals as listed previously, employees, officials of Aberdeen attended any such meetings we taxpayers deserve to see the bills for services from CME and the Town legal staff to certainly include *Of Council Norman Kauff* on either RCM or any other name changes on this project having to do with the developmental applications for the Highway 34 or County Road projects that have been negotiated in the past year of which we have been advised to have heard of to have actually occured.

6 Names of any and all developmental principals, shareholders and any and all persons involved with the applications to develop these sites as related to Cintex, RCM or any other name change or persons principally involved with said developmental application.

7 Proof of any land owned or vacated, sold or given by decree by Aberdeen given to the developers of either site to be developed by the aforementioned group or shareholders that is part of the town of Aberdeen.

8 Names of any and all legal council person representing the aforementioned developers or any other possible developers of the exact same sites over the past three years.

9 Any C.O.A.H. negotiations held with any of the above persons, employees or contractors doing business with or representing Aberdeen as relates to these properties with state officials as relates to these sites.

10 Any e-mail, letters, memos, between any and all parties, employees, developers, zoning and planning board members, town council members, mayor or any other person doing business on behalf of Aberdeen with said developers over the past year.

Watch what happens when we ask for any or all of these questions or information to be provided to us taxpayers of Aberdeen. The reaction from the chair or legal representative will be all the proof most of us will need to see the collusion that has been going on for far to long now in our town. We are not the dumping ground for there projects.

Remember Mayor Soble we did not want your towers either. we are not your dumping ground.

So Norm the only thing made up was that you are honest. That statement no one could make up. It is, was and always will be the absolute truth you and the discriptive word *honest* can never be used in the same sentance.

Norm is not going to be happy this morning. I just jumped on APP.COM and the local section has a big article about the local residents who don't want the Norman Kauff and his cronies low income, section 8 apartments with all the social, crime, traffic problems and more that such housing brings to such an area. You see our public officials want to put "on that side of town". Aint that right Norm? You see we don't want the "Norman Kauff Memorial Apartment Complex That Made a Boatload of Money for Corrupt Public Officials" in the Cliffwood Beach part of our community.
The article is very well written and the reporter needs to ask a couple more probing questions. Some of the questions are listed above by "meeting is on and we will go said". I think the questions about the "Of Counsel" is very important. That title along with the amount of money that is paid to that position if it is legal or not does not matter to me. What does Norman get paid and how involved is he and why. What are Norman Kauffs qualifications to be involved in any developmental processes or approvals? I also want to know if Senator Lesniak who looks "a little McGreevey to me" has his greedy hooks with our Norman for a piece of the corrupt development pie. By the way no one has to make this stuff up Norm. Norman Kauff does a good job bringing these questionable and all to corrupt topics to light all by himself. Aint that right Norm??? Norm you suck in case anyone forgot to tell you lately.

Why so many extensions for this developer? It also seems the property was going to be one thing then kept changing the type of housing. Also it seesm that the number of units keeps changing. If this developer can't make up their mind why allow all of these changes. What did it cost the taxpayers for reviews. I went for a variance on something minor and it cost me with an engineer and inspection that seemed useless. It was an in ground pool not a massive development. It just seems all too convenient and we need to question who controls these people and why. After all us taxpayers are footing the bill. Perhaps it is time we taxpayers booted these boards and engineers out of town.

The crime and problems associated with Sec8 and low income housing are well known. Those who think it's just single moms are very uninformed. I know of two houses in Cliffwood and both are occupied by Sec8. Guess what? Both are dealing drugs out of them. One guy even wears a locator bracelet because he is on probation and still deals drugs. This happens all over the state. Historically low income is a social need and does come with its share of problems when people are placed randomly and without any notification to the local community of their past or criminal record. The best thing today is that the town officials hate that our friend Ms. McLeod is speaking out against the greedy officials who are pushing this to fill there own corrupt pockets. Tonight Ms. McLeod will not be alone as she speaks out against these projects. She has just today united with some people from the 34side of town against the developments proposal. The leadership will hate that also. Too bad i say. Try reading the police reports and see how many drug arrests occur at motels and hotels in our area. The state fills them with Sec8 and other people who need assitance and a place to stay. Quite often these people deal drugs and turn to crime using the hotel rooms provided for them by the state as their headquarters. Unfortunately they are not banned from their free roof over there heads like they should be once they are caught. Sec8 is a big problem. The leadership and people pushing this development in our town are also a problem if they seek to just put this problem by us. I'm late for the meeting got to go. Good luck Ms. McLeod

Not all people on Section 8 are criminals but there is the opportunity for misuse. As a former landlord in New Brunswick we rented to Section 8 single mothers. The trouble was soon they let their boyfriends, friends, relatives etc. move in for free. All of our Section 8 properties were damaged- many to the tune of thousands of dollars. There were always occupancy violations. We were constantly telling freeloaders to move out. We had so much trouble that we got rid of them all. It wasn't worth the hassle.

Tell me this- why can't we build upscale houses? Maybe a "green" community with new techologically advanced housing. Something that will be a model development. We have so many apartments already in our area. The impact on the schools will be the number of students and the fact that they move in and out.

Anonymous said...

We already have a problem with gangs in our area. Won't this type of development just make the problem worse? Won't we will need more police? You think taxes are high now? Has anyone done an impact study?

Well- maybe there will be good news...maybe we will wind up an Abbott district and get some funding from Trenton.

FYI, the groups, RCM and Centax respectively, withdrew their applications for a zoning variance and by letter, with a request that should they decide to renew their variance application in the future, they would like to have the fees waived. The Zoning Board approved the withdrawal, but not the fee waiver.

In the meantime, a quick, nonstandard Planning Board meeting has been scheduled to be quietly held next Monday on the 19th, just prior to the Town Council meeting. The main feature is to rezone the County Road plots with a "Inclusionary Housing" inlay. They don't refer to the area by lot and block numbers in the agenda, but by map. It is clear that they are planning to get the plans approved through the council and then go back to the Zoning Board. Aberdeen NJ Life has the stories.

I was at the Zoning meeting last night and clearly our local officials are trying to pull a fast one. Some of the residents of Aberdeen (Cliffwood Section) were very much aware of the Council meeting scheduled for Monday and in the news release it did mention block and lot (guess what RCMs property on County Rd). Anyway, when the attorney was probed he stated that there had to be a Planning Board meeting prior to the Council making a final vote on this inclusionary "ordinance" and let it slip that a "Special" Public Planning Board meeting is scheduled right before the Council meeting at 6 PM on Monday!!! Thank goodness, he explained the process, so the residents in attendance and more plan to be there for both meetings next Monday.
Amazingly enough -- the Planning Board meeting agenda was just sent out via the Aberdeen emailblasts at 12:35 am TODAY 4/15!! It was not even posted in the town hall notices area (we wonder why not?!?!?-- I bet many of you know why not).
Anyway, taking this route -- this "Project" would not have to go back to the zoning board because there would be a new "law" in town. And things would progress in a different fashion. So, folks show up on Monday at 6 --- and they have to hear out every individual who wants to speak up, and be prepared to stay until midnight if need be!!!

THIS WHOLE THING WITH THE SPECIAL UNNOTICED MEETINGS STINKS OF KAUFF ALL THE WAY THROUGH. I WOULD SUGGEST AN INJUNCTION BE SOUGHT ALL THE WAY TO THE GOVERNORS OFFICE IF NEED BE TO STOP THIS KAUFF CREATED PLAN TO REWARD HIS FRIEND$$$$$. THE BASIS WOULD BE DUE TO THE LACK OF PUBLIC INFORMATION AND PROPER REVIEW OF THIS SPECIAL PURPOSE MEETING.

IN CASE ANYONE IS WONDERING THIS TYPE OF THING IS WHY WE DESERVE TO BE LAUGHING STOCK OF ALL 50 STATES. THIS WHOLE THING STINKS ALL THE WAY FROM CME TO JUSTICE LANE.

NORMAN AND THE COUNCIL MIGHT WANT TO BRING AN OVERNIGHT BAG TO THEIR BULLSHIT PLANNING BOARD MEETING. I THINK THEY HAVE REALLY PISSED PEOPLE OFF AND ARE JUST COVERING UP FOR THE MISTAKES BY NORMAN KAUFFS HANDPICKED PROFESSIONALS WHO CAN'T ADMIT THEY SCREWED UP. THEY SCREWED UP ONCE AGAIN AND THEY CANNOT EVER ADMIT IT. RIGHT NORMAN KAUFF? RIGHT KAUFF PROFESSIONALS?

YOU CAN BE SURE THAT ALL THE KAUFF SOLDIERS AND ALL THE KAUFF MEN AND WOMEN ON THE KAUFF PLANNING BOARD AND THE KAUFF ZONING BOARD HAVE BEEN GIVEN THEIR MARCHING ORDERS.THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD HOW TO VOTE AND WILL DO EXACTLY THAT. THE PUBLIC INPUT HAS TO BE PART OF THE PROCESS SO THEY WILL STARE BLANKLY AT YOU. EVEN THOUGH IT IS JUST A FORMALILTY. KAUFF HAS TOLD ALL OF THEM WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT MS. MCLEOD CONTACT WALT KANE AND THE CHANNEL 12 NEWS CREWS. NORMAN KAUFF AND HIS PEOPLE WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO IF CAMERAS SHOWED UP TO EXPOSE THEIR DECEITFULNESS ON A STATEWIDE SCALE. WHY NOT INVITE THE GOVERNOR OR ATTORNEY GENERAL TO THE SPECIAL MEETING?

BY THE WAY MS. MCLEOD YOU MAY WANT TO SEE IF PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ATTORNEYS ALONG WITH THE TOWN ATTORNEYS ATTENDED DEVELOPMENTAL MEETINGS AT THE SAME TIME. WOULD THAT BE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST OR UNETHICAL COLLUSION. MAYBE EVEN A CONFLICT OF INTEREST OR VIOLATION OF THE SUNSHINE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. DON'T COUNT ON THE LAWYERS INVOLVED TO RECUSE THEMSELVES. RIGHT NORM, MARK, JR., DAN, DIANNA AND ALL THE OTHER LEGAL SCUM ATTACHED AT THE WALLET TO NORMAN KAUFF.

LET THE PUBLIC BE DAMNED.

DAMN YOU NORMAN KAUFF!

Why Does Aberdeen pay Norm Kauff's Neighbor said...

The last post sounds like it was written by Aberdeen's public relations expert, Norman Kauff's neighbor on Justice Lane -

Norman Kauff lives at 7 Justice Lane

Bill Parness lives at 9 Justice Lane

Aberdeen pays Parness about $3000/month to write an occasional press release.

Parness hired by the Pedophile when Kauff was township attorney

Kauff "Of Counsel" to current township attorney

Kauff's friendship - Priceless

This is insane when Council is cutting the budget, talking about layoffs, and raising taxes! I'm sure that Parness is very qualified but his best qualification is being Kauff's neighbor and friend.

The balance of this post is from the Parness PR website:

being a kauff friend pays said...

I f'n love it. All Kauffs friends have easy money coming there way just for being his buds. I also agree aboout the layoffs shown above. If that gets thrown out there will the town leaders, manager, supervisors, professionals, retirees take a cut to help out those who really do the work. The manager needs to be fulltime or parttime. Council get 7thousand over a year for two meetings a month. So much to cut so just leave the little people alone. Next thing you will be telling them how to dress.

I just called nj 12 news and left a message to come to the meetings. I told them that politics corrupts and that political corruption and political hanky panky and pay to play will be on display at the aberdeen town hall this coming monday evening. I told them a council three ring circus is to follow. Come one come all i say to all who read this. I also urge all town employees to attend as well. Show up or get ready to get pink slipped cause they dont care about you either. They care about those who get jobs and who then write checks to them for the job they got. Dont show up and it will be to late to show them you to are tired of the cost of corruption and the friends and all the special deals. Who is mr. kauff and why does he have so much power and greed. I never saw that name on any ballot or switch in the voting booth. The time for mr. kauff to go has come. Miss whilamina needs to go also. From what i saw at the meeting it is time for ms. mcleod to be the voice for our area starting today.

Norman Kauff Esquire said...

Come on people this is Norman Kauff Esquire we are talikng about. Did you really expect anything but back handed deals and Law violating meetings. Votes nad blanket approvals by people bought and paid for by Norman Kauff Esquire. The new council members are just a continuation of more of the same Norman Kauff Esquire corruption and payoffs to the connected and generous campaign donators on our taxpaying dime.

If you thought the nubile Greg Cannon, Margie Montone, Jimmy Lauro and Mayor Elect Fred Taglirini would march to a different drummer then you a blithering idiot. Go turn yourself in to the stupid police. I have only lived here for twenty years but do you remember the Murphy wars with Mcaleer that went on week after week and month after month? I do. Norman Kauff Esquire took care of that problem masterfully. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Norman Kauff Esquire is if nothing masterfully corrupt in all his processes. It is not a compliment you can be sure. He exemplifies all that is wrong with politics in our country. He is just our local representative for political greed and the complete and total violation of the public trust by elected officials and the power brokers they are controlled by.

I compliment Ms. Mcleod on her guts and voice against the norm. Yes the norm as in Norman Kauff Esquire and all of his underhanded tricks that he uses to over feed the scum of the political operatives and leeches that rob us of our due process.

Tea parties are bullshit. Time to expose these scum for what they truly are. The worst our society has to offer. Political cannibals is all the likes of the above are.

In closing Fred Tagliarini you are such a disappointment to the many of us who trusted you with the league. Enjoy your fifteen minutes of fame. It will not be repeated.

Leave my little Normy alone. My Normy never does anything wrong. Everything my little babushka does is legal and above board. He is a good person and people just don't like him. He is powerful and gentile. He is generous to a fault. As a matter of fact he just gave me a whole bunch of money in litte envelopes. Here is one that says thanks for all your help with projects that go nowhere from Dave Samuels. Then here is another one that says for all your legal work that is completely uncecessary and wasteful signed Dan Mcarthy and the gang.

I may be old and real glad my scruples are all there. Wait a minute forget everything written here. I just realized that i went to the bathroom in my fake ficus tree in the middle of the living room.

I'll bet Vinnie Vinci will start taking writing courses at night then he will be the next writer of press releases and stuff. $3,000 for that work a month to Norms neighbors is nice work if you can lower your self that low to get it. Right Normy?

Lets see Parness must be good for $5000, Schram $10000 and then again the usual suspects are always good to our Normy. CM&E, Legal jerks appointed by Normy and the rest of the usual suspects must be good for at least $65000. Just the number that Normy needs to fund corrupt campaigns.

Right normy?

That stands for "Not Everybody is Allowed". 120+ million dollars a year goes into that building and where does it go on behalf of the membership that pay the bills. TOWNSHIP OF ABERDEEN *secret-not so secret-get it past those people from county road anyway we can-to give ciffeli his approvals and get normy his money- the farce of a meeting scheduled to be held this monday just before the farce on a special day and time council meeting-so mayor fred tag and the others can do normys bidding-and get normy his money- all at the cost of the taxpayers, school board- at any cost cause that is what normy wants*

You can't make this stuff.

Can you Norm?

Vote or shut up people said...

Well people we get to vote on the school board and the budget this week. I have already put up the sign for Mr. Delaney for the simple reason that I am only voting for him . No way should either of the others get on. But one of them will no doubt. Too bad. Demarest sat on her hands the past year and Ms. Gattis only seems to get involved when they need someone to fill the slate. The barza crew used that woman once and she did not learn her lesson. No vote for her I say. Good luck to Mr. Delaney since you deserve to stay on the board. I appreciate your experience, dedication and understanding of the matters and decisions that we need to have our school leadership understand and act upon. I am sure the next couple of days will have posts in both directions as to the candidates. Good luck to all.

What do you mean Rt. 9 in Lakewood? You were very vague. I hope you can clarify your post for the rest of us. I also don't go to Lakewood so i'm confused.

I certainly hope you were not trying to make a trivial or disparaging remark about the school on Center that has rabbinical students studying there. I live close by and those boys are a welcome addition compared to some who don't respect the area. I see them often playing at the field on Cliffwood Avenue.

Better yet how about you sell your house and move to the pristine white, no religion, no one older then 35 community where when you get too old they turn you into soylent green crackers to feed to all the other single minded ididots just like you.

Stop using racism as an umbrella for everything said you don't agree with. I didn't see any of you sudden defenders jumping to the defense of Kauff's wife when some ass called her out. Last I checked she's not any type of public official. If you don't like what I posted tough shit. Women with strollers do not generally challenge 3500 lb vehicles traveling at posted speed limits. These guys are nuts, they dart right out in front of you. Apparently this practice is not limited to Lakewood either, I have seen a few of them do it here. It's got nothing to do with racism, put that old bullshit crutch back in the basement.

BACK TO THE 'INCLUSIONARY ORDINANCE--HOUSING ISSUE
oh, really the AFFORDABLE ORDINANCE as the terms inclusionary and affordable are interchangeable in the COAH documents.

Everyone in Aberdeen better be aware of this fact in the inclusionary zoning ordinance that our town is trying to do:

"Inclusionary zoning ordinances shall require developers to construct the required
affordable units on site; alternatively, the ordinance may allow the developer the option
of providing the units elsewhere in the municipality"
!?!?!?!?

This is directly quoted from the Chapter 5:97 of the NJ Council on Affordable Housing. Google it for yourself.
You need to be there on Monday night at 6 pm.... I wonder who of you wants all of this in your backyard anywhere in Aberdeen!!

The Normy way said...

I agree about Normy. F him. The wife is fair play since she knows of his demonic ways. She was politically active also. Lets look at some of Normy's pals. Steve Robinson (disbarred attorney) is still a Normy flunky. Mark Coren goes without saying is getting it in the end, litterally. The two Normy pals who live on his street and profit off of Normy are just cashing in and sucking off the tax payer teit. Present and past council members excluding toomey who served under Normy and hated Normy and his obedient bitch Coren. Perry who was a sometime thorn in Normy's side finally had enough. Most of the others long forgotten tok and took all of Normy's crap and thanked him for it. Most of the other leeches get jobs and pay Normy for giving them the job in the first place. That is the key to campaign Normy style. Defend him and you are no better then him. He deserves to get spit on. What many want to do to him would not be that civil. I will say this latest Normy plan to bypass procedures and public notification and input is genius. Evil and insulting genius of course. That is the Normy way after all.
