Looks like it's lucky we have the Aberdeener website for our town officials and employees to correct their mistakes and worse once it shows up on here. Two recent responses that look like they're from Miss Management herself may be in the mix now? Time after time and website mistake after website mistake it seems no one is watching out for or preventing the website mistakes or proof reading the information. We did check our FACTS, see the website of the church, where there is not a place where it states St. Mark AMEZ. All Over it has St Mark A.M.E. Zion as we have known it over the years. No disrespect to the Reverend.
We did not blame the township, only an employee, by trying to bring attention to a mistake since we are part of the township as residents and taxpayers we expect that people whose salaries we help pay for can do there job in an accurate manner.

With an unusually tough winter taking its toll on area roads, Aberdeen Township is providing residents with options for reporting potholes to the appropriate authorities.
To report a pothole on an Aberdeen road, go to the township website: www.aberdeennj.org and complete an online form that can be found by clicking on the "Request" tab at the top of the home page. From there, scroll down to "Repairs and Requests for Service" and select "Potholes."
To report a pothole on a county designated road, such as Lloyd Road or Line Road, call the Monmouth County Hotline at (732) 431-6550.
To report a pothole on a state road, such as the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 34 or Highway 35, go to http://www.state.nj.us/turnpike/maintenance-issue.html and complete the online form.

and show her the things being said on here, even though it appears that she does look and know but has not seen fit to work for us, the taxpayers who are really concerned about this obvious mess called a 21st century, transparent website.
Do all of not know that the website is the window into Aberdeen? If this piece of crap is our gateway to the community then we really have problems.
With the information that is suppose to be on website to give people, both current residents and anyone possibly looking to move here including businesses, up to date overview of what’s happening here and see that the website is a mess it certainly would make them think twice about it since they would wonder “ Wow, they can’t even get the website correct (missing information, incorrect information, outdated things, formatting issues)in this day and age, so then what’s going on with finances, taxes, safety, recycling, garbage, etc. and most importantly it appears like disregard/disrespect to the taxpayers ”.

Guess whose towns site is nowhere near the top and nowhere near the bottom of the list? That's right all my politically corruption oppressed taxpayers here in our Aberdeen's website ranks in the low 200's out of slightly more than 500 statewide as listed in the article and the APP.COM website.
So if you've been following all of the criticisms, immediate changes and upgrades our officials and employees enact after our criticisms while in the least outing the continual mistakes of the most recent political hire.
While the website information officer position in reality is supposed to inform us residents of actions on important spending, legislation votes and far more important matters on our website it is often hidden, hard to find or missing completely and that is the I also feel is the web masters real corruption hiding job.
That created information position coupled with the the often posted on here examples of managerial ineptness, mismanagement decisions and a total lack of experience real managerial experience other than being a mayoral puppet. That is why this website article starts us on the realization that our municipal website is in fact truly laughable and the opposite of a truly informative and easily maneuvered website. All that and more while obviously the political truth of the website and on purpose is kept that way to not justly allow our so called political leadership to be even a bit accountable to those of us who employ them.
The quick read in the newspaper highlighted the #1 website being our not so far away neighbor is Middletown. Seems that even the number #1 website gets justly criticized for not publicizing the actual wording and salaries in regards to specifics on broadly voted on without much fanfare actions, municipal salaries and municipal benefit packages and much more in government.
Without a doubt our costly and our too quickly approved council actions are mired in a lack of transparency and is no less troubling or guilty of hiding the truth of the costly corruption here in our Aberdeen that is far more troubling than Middletown's website.
Of course for a real and total lack of transparency our own Aberdeen website is example number one with a quick search of our flawed website that screams for closer supervision, efficiency and far more transparency of what really goes on in our town councils chambers or on the public dais.
While much that is publicized lately on our towns wesite and that is also most likely purposefully hidden without much public time from us to input or give our opinion from those of us who pay the bills. That coupled with the absolute silence on here defending themselves from all that's continually on here every single day that must really wear on all the corrupt and crooked council members and inept and questionably protected employees.
At least we of the Aberdeen fan base can be thankful that our politicians can find there website inadequacies from our postings on the Aberdeener website that they hate to read to find out about how screwed up they all are. Monmouth University Polling Institute report about Best Practices for Municipal Websites with data collection that was conducted during in 2012.
Aberdeen Township ranked 201 out of 540. We cannot even imagine if the study was done from when Aberdeen’s new website started in June 1, 2013 until today what rank we would get because the current website is a disgrace. From what we see we would be so very close to the bottom. We are guessing that the manger and council do not consider the website important to them since nothing has been done to correct things that many people are bringing to their attention.
In the Asbury Park Press there were comments from a person from City Connections a company that does over 50 towns website. Aberdeen used City Connections up until Gregory Cannon and Holly Reycraft came up with the “idea” to get a new company and website last year (must be connected somehow) and have: Improvement, 21st century website, user friendly, run through town hall building, residents have full access to all information and documents, department heads increase their content level, save money and Transparency. All Laughable when you go on this website and none these apply sad especially when we have to pay for it. Cost mentioned by Gregory was $7,000.00 but of course we do not know if that was the final amount.
The only consistent/annoying thing on the website is the EBC that the mayor cares about more than he cares for the residents. Mayor, time to start acting like an elected person and remember that our votes got you there. We would guess that almost all (9) of the EBC live and vote elsewhere.

council people (elected) can get health benefits for themselves and family with a high cost instead of a salary.
First we have heard of this and wonder does Aberdeen have this "option" and if so how many present and past elected people got this benefit on our money when so many residents have to pay on their own for health benefits.
Guess it pays to be on council.
As for the ones who do not get health benefits they get a salary which covers their real estate taxes of course on our taxpayer dollars..

A relative of mine is seeking an approval and I read where the attorney for Hazlet*not so surprisingly the Hazlet attorney is connected to the not so innocent Law Firm of Werner Lesniak democratically connected and thoroughly corrupt law firm of Senator Lesniak*.
So no big deal right? Wrong because Hazlet also has the same taxpayers nemesis engineers from hell CME just like Aberdeen has.
So anyway the Lesniak attorney Ronald D. Cucchiaro in a recorded give and take regarding the application
* CME have the documents. My understanding is that they requested that Escrow has been posted. I don't know what their status is over at CME. I did trade calls with your attorney but until Escrow is posted because this comes out of a developmental application we can't move any further.*
Nice to see that everything is on the up and up in Hazlet just like in Aberdeen where lawyers and engineer related political corruption is so closely tied to the word and taxpayer curse that is the never ending mysterious world of Escrow.
Reading between the lines is not necessary with this illegal and unethical give and take since if you've ever dealt with the building department in Aberdeen Escrow greases the machine or the machine grinds to a halt. You see even after you get your approvals and build they keep your money in reserve just in case CME needs to follow up. We told them we would make sure they started with all of the bills paid to CME. Know what happened? The town caved cause they didn't want anyone looking at the engineering costs and who got what from who on the taxpayer dime.
I've got an idea let's all get on a blog site created by a concerned resident and discuss and exemplify how us taxpayers can make our town better by ensuring that our elected officials serve us residents, students, taxpayers and business owners like me.

Isn't there a ruling within the council if a council person misses a certain number of meetings they are no longer eligible to be a council person?.

As I type this I see where 529 posts have come in on the subject entitled New Years Resolution and not trusting politicians. The blog hosts subject when it comes to our corruption filled political processes and the completely unethical politicians in our midst truly and typically hits the nail on the head. Too bad our elected officials don't see the tragic costs their corruption and improper decision making has on all of us as they spin the wheel of corruption under the full of politically beneficial holes related to the rules and intent of pay to play. In other words it's Aberdeen at its politically corrupt worst.
No corruption in Aberdeen you may as well say there has been any progress on developments and tax relief your democrats promised for the past two decades.

2) Assume that the second Class II should actually be Class III, there are a least three or four names listed next to Class III. There should only be one Class III Planning Board Member. STRIKE TWO.

Free Seedling Giveaway To Replace Sandy-Toppled Trees
Some municipalities are taking advantage of a free state program to distribute 30 different tree species, from stately oak trees to petite dogwoods.
The New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign, a joint effort between the Department of Environmental Protection’s State Forestry Services and the non-profit Arbor Day Foundation, is distributing 115,000 tree seedlings to neighborhoods in more than 100 towns and cities to replace thousands of trees lost across the state due to Superstorm Sandy, DEP Commissioner Bob Martin announced today.
The trees are being delivered to those towns by the State Forestry Services and distributed to residents. Distributions of up to 1,000 trees per municipality began on Saturday and will continue throughout the month of April. Municipalities interested in the free program registered last month.
Of course, Aberdeen is NOT on list.

How about police getting Mark Coren out of trouble from time to time along the east coast.
And finally how about the deal to bring Mark Coren back to oversee the old factory build by the parkway that is really contaminated that cost us 25k to not be a part of.

I don't think you people understand how corrupt your politicians are. Aberdeen is not only the first town in New Jersey alphabetically it is the first in the corruption category. As for your public info hire that's only been done to feather the politicians image nothing more. A relationship or family connection is a strong possibility but probably it was a hire to keep up the image that your leaders do something besides nothing but feeding at the taxpayer trough.
The truth as they say is far stranger than fiction with those politicians. The truth of your towns corrupt politicians, ineffective management and questionable hiring is not such a secret anymore well past this blog as well. I myself do miss the days when Vinnie Vinci used to talk about how important he was in town. Too bad he didn't know we were all laughing at him. With him talking we knew we had great insight into the goings on in your town.
I laugh at that park they put over by his house when I visit my buddy. Vinci Park as the sign says except it's a joke they honored that big mouth at all. So glad I live in Matawan is half hearted except if I lived in Aberdeen I would move.

I jumped on the internet tonight and looked at my favorite newspaper from the old homestead. Some pages in I see a great story for once not involving some political lie about a tax beneficial development that never happens attached to the D's.
I say great work to Herb Caravella on getting the town a response trailer pictured in the article. Knowing how things work back home I figure that somehow the trailer will no doubt mysteriously have been procured by the town council. Anything to fill the next pamphlet of lies to be distributed for the next corruption based campaign lies to bamboozle the voters.
If only the town council could tell the truth just once back home. Of course I will never move back despite pleas from my girls and grandboys. My infrequent trips to visit the family are nowhere near my old stomping grounds inside town hall and for good reason I assure any readers. I am truly sickened by what I read on here of what years ago was a good town. I often think about my old town trying to remember the good times and there weren't that many for all those years of service I put in.
From what I hear and read it sounds like things continue on the downward slide under the D's. To the employees I knew and the newer employees toiling in town hall now I say good luck and always stay close to the exit door.
The corruption riddled business council supports the relay for life. So big friggin deal like everyone don't know that all the business council really supports is the local and so deeply entrenched political corruption. Democratic political corruption and the pay to play fleecing of the towns tax payers just to feed the politicians their leeches like the lawyers and engineers. If the business council supports anything I run not walk in the opposite direction. They are only out for themselves and they know it. Right Carmine and your girlfriend the mayor.
Also, can anyone tell me how Aberdeen's Business Council is a "Community Organization"??? On Aberdeen's website under the "Community", the Community Organization, the Biz Council is listed first along with true community organizations like the library and special ed parents advisory group. But the Biz Council? It's handpicked by the Mayor, meets in secret, no minutes and serves only to keep solicit political contributions -- just look at its members.
The busybody council is just a front for Fredy to line his dem party pockets for elections. Drop 10 grand on some fireworks and wah lah - you're on the council (and you got fredy in your back pocket). why isn't there a citizens council ...?

Need a new topic Aberdeener host. How about an article about political corruption, illegal kickbacks to political power brokers, arrogant and egotistical politicians who could not tell the truth if their lives depended on it, or maybe how appointed so called professionals get paid a whole boatload of money for not doing their jobs well at all.
The local business group is no less important than the corrupt engineers, corrupt lawyers, corrupt developers or any other group the corrupt democrats can use, control or illegally rob politically. The corrupt business group is just another corrupt money source and corrupt publicity tool for the corrupt democrats to use to bleed us taxpayers and business owners like me to death. What has the corrupt business council really ever done that benefited our businesses and thus the community at large? I mean what have they as a supposed business group ever really done to help other local businesses succeed and not just be more corrupt window dressing? Window dressing pure and simple used to hide the business group reality that is being led around by the nose to be just another corrupted political connection to our corrupt democrat political leaders and their corrupt repeated failures to actually work to better this business and residential community. That is the real politically corrupt and painful result from the negative realities in Aberdeen under the corrupt and demonically possessed democrats. One more thing up until a few years ago I was a registered democrat so don't try and go there.
A public information position and a politically connected donor publicity firm it seems all being used to keep all of the *positive only* press out there for public consumption. I got one question for the mysterious Ivanhoe before heading out to hit a couple bucket of balls. How will these publicity whores spin the big tax increase that is probably waiting in the wings to be spun politically. Who knew there was so much going on in town that needs to be disseminated and so often. I long for the days when Norman Kauff and Mark Coren kept everything secret albeit illegally.
If they gave out statues for corrupt leadership decisions our town would need a giant 747 sized airplane hangar to store just the past four years of indecision award statues in. Right Freddy boy?
