Reminder - Greater Aberdeen Garage Sale on Sunday, June 7th

The Greater Aberdeen Garage Sale is this weekend on Sunday, June 7th. So far, we have over 50 registered garage sales.

Last year, our biggest problem was people couldn't find the garage sales. So, to help with that, I've added two changes (albeit a bit late). First, I'll be emailing all registrants an editable PDF that you can print and post to help drivers find your garage sale. (If the font is too big for your address, try writing the address in a different font size in your email or a separate document and then do a copy and paste.) Secondly, I'll be editing the data on the website so that all homes will be grouped together according to area and street.

Another problem we had last year was the page had difficulty loading all the garage sales on a single page. We now list all the garage sales on two pages (be sure to check the second page).

The forecasts predict a perfect day. Best of luck to everyone and thank you for participating. >>> Read more!

We did not participate in the garage sale weekend by holding one ourselves. In fact before eleven this morning we did not know of this specific site. Now we have just spent the last hour or so on here looking at some of the past topics. To say the least we are very intrigued by what we have seen as well as the obvious slanted and informative posts. The posts by a various group of people concerned with their town is obvious. Also obvious is the protective responses. It seems that some proofs or information provided is questionable until you read the responses. Then again there are many topics which do not get anything close to a credible response. It is very obvious we need to spend a considerable amount of time looking into the aberdeener archives.

It is interesting that my wife attended one of these garage sales today and picked up a flier that said the following. If you do not trust politicians with your future or your money log onto www.aberdeener.com. Our work before the election has just begun from what we have seen so far.

I think it was disgusting that the town wide garage sale was being used for politics. I also picked up a flyer and thought how wrong ths was. Thanks Aberdeener for ruining what should have been a nice day

The Aberdeener did not have one thing to do with the flier. This man cannot get a break. My husband and I are the ones who had the garage sale and WE AND WE ALONE printed up a flier to inform our neighbors and visitors about the Aberdeener. Mr. W. had nothing to do with it at all.

Since when is it political to hand out a flier that informs people of what is going on in Aberdeen and to FREELY look into the topics, opinions and information posted on the Aberdeener site? What happened to FREE SPPECH. Quite obviously the lack of speech by Mr. K and our failed leadership on what is posted is far more troubling. The Aberdeener is far more informative then the website the Township of Aberdeen has put together. Ever try it. With all of the money available it is not stellar to say the least.

So one more time for those of you in the cheap seats. The flier handed out at the A section garage sale in Aberdeen today was not sanctioned, condoned or sponsored by the Aberdeener of its author Mr. Warren. So just two citizens in the communist republic of Aberdeen wanted to inform people to look into their community, its educational system and its political structure, as corrupt as we think it is. Don't give us any grief over something like that. It was not political it was constitutionally protected.

Ever notice how some people (2nd post)are sooooooooooo eager and ready to jump on anything that has to do with getting information out to the public? Like the council meeting tonight for instance. A Sunday night council meeting? We have never ever seen that in Aberdeen in over twenty plus years.

Anyone think that may be a prime example of keeping the public purposely uninformed. I never saw any notices last week or even on the electric sign at town hall. Maybe I missed it because it was not there? Another thought would be that our newspapers would not have had anyone available to attend such a weekend scheduled meeting. My husband says such a move is very questionable. Not a conspiracy thing so realx.

Just a thought.

Mr. Warren,

Thank you for putting together the Great Aberdeen Garage Sale event yesterday. Several families on my block took advantage of your advisory and we all had a lot of fun. It helped all of us make some money and meet some nice people during the day. It is too bad that the good things you do with your blog is belittled by a few outspoken critics. God forbid the public gets informed. Keep up the good work and thank you once again.

Thank you for you kind words. I'm glad you had some fun and made some money. Hopefully, next year, we can start getting some of the neighboring communities involved as well.

What is this about a weekend council meeting? That one stinks to high heaven. You can be sure nothing good will come from such a secret meeting. Were all of the council members present? Who did not show if any? Let us know if anyone hears anything. You can be sure it probably had something to do with the budget. I asked the other day if it was passed yet and they said they were waiting on discretionary aid numbers from the state. Who are they kidding? There is no discretionary aid coming from Corzine. He is too busy placating the unions and paying off the ministers councils. What a disappointment Corzine is. To say nothing of Cody and Roberts those blowhards. It is time for

Budget. Who are they kidding? It is to say the least long overdue. How much will they raise taxes this year? Anyone know? Come on with the school tax a zero increase they should bite the bullet and get the monies needed. Wait I almost forgot this is an election year. Too much at stake and Norm must stay in control at any cost. Kauff must do anything and everything to maintain the fuel line of ill gotten taxpayer funds for CM&E to fund the corrupt democratic campaigns all over the state. This may be the final performance of Norman and his Forty Thieves. Get your tickets early.

Post #2 is a liar. Wow what a surprise. Once again silence speaks volumes. Maybe Mr. K. is away so they do not know what to say if he does not tell them. Right candidates?

Norman and his forty thieves? I don't get it.

I pray for Kauff' soul to be saved said...

The garage sales I attended were great. I did not hear one word about Kauff at any of them. Had I though I would have thoroughly enjoyed it. People need to know about that lowlife piece of trash and what he and his friends do to our community. I am too much of a lady to say more. Suffice it to say Norman Kauff is the Devil incarnate.

If you are praying to god to save Kauff you are praying to the wrong higher power. you need to be praying to the almighty dollar bill for Kauff. That is who controls him and his associates. Of course it is our money the old fool uses. He will get his and it will not be when he arrives at the pearly gates. The Devil will greet Kauff with a hearty welcome home.

You suck Norman Kauff you blood sucking old codger.

F NK said...

He will get his and I mean it. I called the MCPO yeaterday in Freehold and left a message for an investigator to call me. I may not know all that is going in Aberdeen but I will tell them enough so they just maybe they take a look. No one should take any personal action or anything like that just let the investigators do their jobs.

Okay, thanks. Are you serious, get real FNK, you are going to do nothing like the rest of the blowhards on here.
