On March 4th, the residents of Freneau submitted a petition to the Aberdeen Town Council requesting sewers. Both Deputy Mayor Montone and Councilman Cannon assured the residents the town was working “very hard”. Councilman Cannon added, “We realize it is not fair that you are paying taxes and everyone gets their streets and sidewalks done and you get nothing.”
Deputy Montone twice assured the residents the council was making “progress”. How did she define “progress”? The council has made lots of plans.
Welcome to Neverland where the future is always bright and there’s a plan to solve every problem. Taxes too high? There’s a plan for a transit village and another plan for the redevelopment of Anchor Glass. Cost of housing too high? There’s a plan for a senior residence and low-income housing. Concerned about pay-to-play? The town council has a plan for that as well. Whatever problem you may have, rest assured the town council has a plan. Lots of plans. Wonderful plans. And if those plans don’t work, the town council will make new plans. Better plans. Plans that will amaze and astound.
Such is the beauty of living in Neverland where a majority of voters never grows up.

I don't know about you but I think the town is missing out on a big money making opportunity. I think if they want to make some money to lower our taxes the town should seek out movie production companies to film movies or a television series in town. Freeholders ask “Where is the funding?”
New park on hold as NY/NY Port Authority removes support
ABERDEEN, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders voted unanimously to pass a resolution requesting that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey uphold their commitment to provide funding for the creation of a new regional county park in Aberdeen and Marlboro.
“If the Port Authority does not honor its commitment to share in the funding of this park project, the opportunity to preserve significant portions of the Matawan Creek watershed and create a new, 250-acre park will vanish,” said Freeholder Director Lillian G. Burry. “The Port Authority of NY/ NJ offered $5 million to help move this deal forward, but have now withdrawn that offer.”
Monmouth County has negotiated the $10.6 million purchase of approximately 87.8 acres in the Freneau section of Aberdeen and Marlboro Townships from Aberdeen/Wilson Associates, LLC to establish a new park in the Monmouth County Park System.
“The Board was extremely disappointed to be made aware that this critical funding may not be provided by the Port Authority Hudson Raritan Estuary Resources Program to help acquire the property,” said Deputy Director Gary J. Rich, Sr. who introduced the measure on August 7, 2014.
The Board of Chosen Freeholders adopted Resolution #2014-0619 requesting that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey “uphold their agreement to provide funding for the acquisition of this project to create a new park in the Townships of Aberdeen and Marlboro.”
“The Monmouth County Park System hopes to manage this new park to help meet the regional recreation and open space needs of residents of the Bayshore and the greater county,” said Burry, liaison to the Park System. “It would be a shame if this project cannot advance because they have gone back on their promise.”
Monmouth County has been actively working on the creation of this new park since 2011. To help create the park, a conservation partnership was put together that includes the County of Monmouth, Aberdeen Township, Port Authority of NY & NJ, the NY/NJ Baykeeper, Monmouth Conservation Foundation and NJ DEP Green Acres Program.
“A working coalition of partners is the best way to get a significant project like this started and completed,” said Freeholder Thomas A. Arnone. “To have one of the partners withdraw the funding could prove fatal in the creation of this new park.”
On January 9, 2014, by Resolution #2014-0059, the Board of Chosen Freeholders authorized the purchase of the Aberdeen/Wilson Associates, LLC property.
“In an area that is already heavily developed and is home to many commuters, a new park would go a long way to help to meet the recreation and open space needs of our citizens,” said Freeholder John P. Curley. “This Board will hold the Port Authority to their promise to help provide this new regional park.”
As stated in its adopted resolution, the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders strongly urges the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to provide the essential funding from New Jersey’s portion of the original allocation of the Hudson Raritan Estuary Resources Program. With this funding, a parcel critical to the establishment of the new public park, the Aberdeen/Wilson Associates, LLC property, can be acquired and preserved.

Elected positions are not supposed to be ‘jobs’
As the important mid-term election approaches, desperate, power-crazed politicians seeking re-election resort to their same pathetic tricks to give the economy an artificial stimulus and make us feel better so we will be conned into voting again for them.
The most obvious examples are the various highly visible road-related projects, including resurfacing that is years overdue, new signs, and replacement of drainage lines. Various power line projects along Route 9 are also in full swing now. Yes, these are private company projects, so I can’t be sure if the timing is intentionally geared to the election or just coincidental.
Even though governments are controlled by corporations, I suspect there is a tit-for tat arrangement where governments offer private companies some kind of incentive — financial — to time their projects as elections approach, again to create jobs and make us feel better about the economy.
Elected positions were never intended to be lifelong “jobs.” Let career politicians know you are wise to their predictable, insulting nonsense by voting against all incumbents who have held office for two terms.
Even if they have done something special on your behalf, you have to look at the bigger picture: Government has become so complex and draconian that its own regular employees cannot deal with the complexity created by elected politicians and the bureaucrats who write the regulations to carry out the intent of the various statutes.

New application replaces Northpointe
Months after its application for the Northpointe housing development was rejected, Ohad Associates returned to the Marlboro Planning Board to propose a new development in the same location.
At the Sept. 3 meeting, members of the board heard Ohad Associates’ proposal for Regent Park, a development consisting of 14 three-story apartment buildings.
The 48-acre property is at Lloyd and Nolan roads in Marlboro, near the border of Aberdeen Township. Ohad Associates’ Northpointe application was rejected last year due to the applicant’s failure to meet the criteria of a municipal law that governs storm water management procedures.
The Northpointe plan had been on the drawing board in Marlboro for almost 30 years and had been the subject of litigation between the developer and the municipality.
In its new application for Regent Park, Ohad Associates is proposing to build 285 rental units, consisting of 222 market rate units and 63 affordable housing units dispersed throughout the development. There will not be any age restrictions at Regent Park.
The Northpointe application called for the construction of 299 units.
Christopher Rosati, the applicant’s engineer, informed the board of additional changes from the previous application. According to Rosati, the most significant change is that there will no longer be any development planned on the south side of nearby Gravelly Brook. Rosati said the detail he was most pleased to inform the board about is that the project is 100 percent compliant with storm water management regulations.
“We comply with the peak flow reductions, we comply with the infiltration requirement for the [Department of Environmental Protection],” he said.
The Regent Park application proposes the construction of a traffic light at the intersection of Thornton Avenue (the development’s road) and Lloyd Road.
Because Lloyd Road is a Monmouth County road, the traffic light falls under the county’s jurisdiction.
The board also heard testimony from Jack Raker, the project’s architect, and John Rea, the project’s traffic engineer.
Board members expressed concern to Rea regarding issues involving school buses traveling to and from the Marlboro Memorial Middle School on Nolan Road.
According to Chairman Larry Josephs, the Marlboro K-8 School District Transportation Department does not want school buses going down a street that is perceived as a cul-de-sac or a dead end such as Thornton Avenue, which is the only proposed access for Regent Park.
The issue regarding school buses was not resolved during the meeting.
During public comment, Andrew Schueller, an Aberdeen Township resident who lives on nearby Warren Drive, said Lloyd Road — which connects Route 79 and Route 34 — is currently operating at a level service grade of “F” and he said that any additional traffic would only make things worse.

I am also not alone with being tired of being called time and again and questioned if we want to pay for this and that when we already pay our significant rents. It seems we only get to be charged as businesses in the community to finance this towns corrupt political chicanery.
Do other towns charge businesses for sidewalk sales or town celebratory activities? I doubt it as this towns political leadership seem to only seek self congratulation to be on display by squeezing the business owners that they squeeze and squeeze to finance political corruption annually. Seems the long promised land purchases on the fringe areas of town and the purchase funding may be in doubt. The article does give us all an insiders glimpse of the inner workings of politics and politicians where not so surprisingly things are not always or ever as they seem. Not as they seem this time to be involving multiple actors aka politicians and governmental agencies. Not so surprisingly is that the pompous ass of our mayor even gets a line in the article to put his name front and center for his self serving ego to be satisfied. What ever happened to the man I worked with years ago in the league I often wonder? Anyway the article shows how in politics everything is not as it seems and is all too telling that until the signatures are on the dotted line nothing is a done deal. It also looks to me like various local politicians are on the hook for years of campaign donations and this multi million dollar payback may be more publicly an embarrassment for politicians beholding to the property owners. Nothing is as it seems especially in Aberdeen where decades of lies for senior housing and age restricted housing (no school age kids) were also promised except the land the baykeeper program, county freeholders and us taxpayers in Aberdeen were to pay for may be in jeopardy. New to the site and a neighbor I just met who has worked for the town for a long time told me tonight that it's his department is like a scene out of Cuckoos Nest the movie. I was asking him a couple questions and he didn't hold back. If you remember that movie the crazies seemed to be in almost in full control at the end of the movie. I say the end because from what he told me it looks like the end is near and our ass of a mayor is the Jack Nicholson character taking control. I was a toddler when that movie came out so when I looked it up and looked at some scene clips it looked just like what he told me. I wonder who is the Nurse Rathcet character?

On xx/xx/xx, at xxxx hrs. I was dispatched to x xxxxxxxx xx. for a report of an intoxicated senior citizen threatening an armed police officer. Upon my arrival on scene, I observed a caucasian male, approx. 70 years of age dressed in strange clothes, standing outside an office with the word Chief painted on the door, waving and smiling. I engaged the subject and asked him what the issue was. Subject responded "Everything is just smurfy here officer."
At this point, Ptl. xxxx and Ptl. xxxx arrived on scene.Subject was detained, pat searched and secured in handcuffs, as a precautionary measure, by Ptl. xxxxx. After securing subject, a search of the area was conducted by Ptl. xxxx and myself. Ptl. xxxx remained with the subject.
While in the process of searching the adjacent office, I discovered a Caucasian male, approx. 50 years of age, hiding under a desk.

You have to remember that most every individual who runs for political office starts off wanting to the right, just and honorable thing. Then almost immediately the political machine and the ever present evil of politics takes over. Sure their are mandatory meetings for the newly elected to attend without fail. The newly elected collectively leave these mandated meetings and return to their local municipalities with good intentions to serve the public to the best of their abilities. Not so surprisingly all of those in place and who know will so easily and devilishly call them their new friends in politics know they went to that meeting on ethics and standards will start their real taxpayer damaging evil political education on the subject referred to in jersey called everything you do from now on is for our political party and us in politics and that is all you need to worry about from now on.
It's probably not until the first breakfast, lunch or dinner meeting with the likes of the political evil that will come in the various names of a Norman Kauff, Arnone, Pallone, Cryan, Sweeney, Kyrillos or another dark ghostly political presence that is quickly a counter to their oath of office where words like swear, duty, best of my ability or I swear to GOD are unfortunately and sadly so quickly a distant politically corruption membership club memory.
In Aberdeen we have had various individuals that are routinely handpicked and not selected for their ability to be elected for honesty, ability or for their dedication to do what was right for us the voters, citizens, residents, students or business owners. Unjust selections for their connections to churches, temples, youth leagues, condo associations or any other public involvement that would give an honest basis on which to lead. Lead and work honestly or is it easier to continue the corruption and vote to only feather their political nest. Here with very few exceptions of a few who stuck to their guns although outnumbered and ostracized were ignored or removed from office or position by our local evil personified Norman Kauff for his singularly selfish and the unelected political boss is still without a doubt named Norman Kauff.
I'm sure all the present town council members would deny until their death bed that Norman Kauff is still involved, manipulating, controlling and still in fact pulling all the strings on our puppet council and the often rumored to be inept town manager presently performing in our local theatre of politics so damaging to all of us on a daily basis and with great expense.
Whether most living here know it or not our town is on a quickly political death dive caused solely by the divisiveness of democrat politics. From the millions spent and charged annually without true cause or even truer benefit to the taxpayers. It is in the corrupt spending or the constant jokes of proposed development for seniors, projects of low income or the recent patronage hiring of probably needless hires on our tax dollars this towns death spiral is singularly a democrat leadership caused by Kauff. This is our Abererdeen every political corruption filled day and it has to be stopped.
Looking at the past few weeks and months of council and zoning planning agendas you'd think that our town is on a good path with great benefits in the offing to reduce the highest taxes in all of the county.
Think again i'd say to all of my fellow residents and the business owners in town. The continuation of the D's promise them everything and they'll forget what we promised them is alive and well and fanning the fire that is the corrupt political reality of the D's. The proof in the pudding as they say easy to find. All anyone has to do is look to the missing for months now minutes that have been missing from the public disclosure on the joke that was and despite veiled rejuvenation that purports to be the towns new website. It is neither new, improved or does it follow the law on publication to the community. If I was the public information hire i'd consider attaining malpractice insurance for when all the fingers point her way as the politicians scapegoat in the end. The fact that all those who will be easily pointing fingers failed in their own responsibility to check and supervise the info officer they hired for reasons that remain unclear. In the end that will not matter as they'll blame the person they all failed to monitor and supervise on purpose to corruptly redirect the blame.

I just passed the temple on Lloyd heading home and there's the same police suv sitting empty I have seen since Monday night. Did anyone get an email from township with the Tax Sale List as we used to get before the "2 NEW" websites.
Friends said they saw in the paper on Thursday's legal notice but we did not get email so we got a copy to review.

New and improved websites should give us all information pertaining to the goings on in Aberdeen.
But it seems no one wants us to know what is happening.
Interesting bit of information is one name listed many times is Aberdeen/Wilson Associates, LLC who have NOT paid their taxes on the 37 properties they own.
Shameful, since they are one of the groups connected to the property that the great gurus of Aberdeen (HA) and the Monmouth County Park System want to put a park but now the Port Authority is not coming forth with money so I guess this group thinks they will not get the big bucks so why pay taxes.
Aren't there laws that groups such as this must follow certain regulations if they are in negotiations with a municipality/county and pay the taxes or forfeit the right to proceed.
Wait a fuckin minute did I read that our police force actually arrested someone and it's a former cop that threatened our towns police chief. Well at least they arrested someone this year. This police force is no less inept and a total waste of money than the manager and the info babe that our council know neither can do their jobs. And we taxpayers can bet there's a bunch more that don 't deserve to cash their checks every week.

An investigation of the farm properties and contaminated farm properties that were paid off for years of democratic political donations that cost us millions for property that could have never been developed anyway

Water = $ 25,090.30
Sewer = $81,869.01
Clean up = $ 356.62
GRAND TOTAL = $475,824.49
That is close to a quarter of a Million Dollars that is owed to us.
What are the people in charge doing about this?
