On March 4th, the residents of Freneau submitted a petition to the Aberdeen Town Council requesting sewers. Both Deputy Mayor Montone and Councilman Cannon assured the residents the town was working “very hard”. Councilman Cannon added, “We realize it is not fair that you are paying taxes and everyone gets their streets and sidewalks done and you get nothing.”
Deputy Montone twice assured the residents the council was making “progress”. How did she define “progress”? The council has made lots of plans.
Welcome to Neverland where the future is always bright and there’s a plan to solve every problem. Taxes too high? There’s a plan for a transit village and another plan for the redevelopment of Anchor Glass. Cost of housing too high? There’s a plan for a senior residence and low-income housing. Concerned about pay-to-play? The town council has a plan for that as well. Whatever problem you may have, rest assured the town council has a plan. Lots of plans. Wonderful plans. And if those plans don’t work, the town council will make new plans. Better plans. Plans that will amaze and astound.
Such is the beauty of living in Neverland where a majority of voters never grows up.

Cannot find this on any town council minutes. We were under the impression that the council had such a rule for many years. What happened to it? Why is it not enforced for council people?

They are grandstanding about spending or better yet misspending our tax monies once again. Newspaper today says that the manager of the town announces that our political leaders have bought property for natural space out off 516 that we paid $45k an acre for. Now it looks like the deal to buy or more precisely payback a big political donor by buying his property in an economic downturn could cost us and other political entities $10.6m for 250 acres. If you've been here a while the democrats have promised would be developed for 20 years with nothing to show for it for years much less the lies of the democrats campaign literature. Of course those lies are no different than the lies about senior housing and all the other lies about the so called democrat accomplishments that accomplish nothing really. To the supposed democrat accomplishments I say to the democrats show us just one positive accomplishment. Truthfully there are none and they know it and that's why the democrats hide from what's on here much less the purposeful hiding of the advance notices and contents of their secretive and corrupt meetings they have. It's like they are accomplishing anything and everything that benefits our lives or my business associates trying to survive except nothing really changes but our tax bills. As for the business council they are no less useless despite their lies of helping businesses and are no less secretive or beneficial to our residents or my business community when they're behind closed doors.

Shop Manalapan First will debut on Nov. 1
MANALAPAN — Residents will have a chance to save money on their property tax bill by participating in the new Shop Manalapan First rewards program.
Members of Manalapan’s Economic Development Council (EDC) presented the program to the Township Committee and the public at the Oct. 1 meeting of the governing body.
Shop Manalapan First cards that allow residents to participate in the program will be distributed this month, and the initiative will go live on Nov. 1, according to Glen Mendez, who chairs the EDC.
Details about how the program will operate will be discussed during a meeting at Town Hall at 8 p.m. Oct. 15. At that time, Shop Manalapan First cards will be distributed to residents.
Other distribution dates for the Shop Manalapan First cards are 9-11 a.m. Oct. 18, 1-4:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 9-11 a.m. Oct. 25, all at Town Hall.
After those dates, the cards will be available in the township administration office and at participating businesses, according to the EDC.
“Shop Manalapan First promotes local businesses, and that is the job of the EDC — to promote business,” Mendez said.
Committeewoman Susan Cohen said residents have been asking for a rewards program such as Shop Manalapan First to be initiated.
During public comment, resident Deborah Smarth said, “Anything we can do to spur economic development is good. Spending cuts would be the best thing [the Township Committee] can do for an economic recovery.
“If you want economic development and recovery, get [government] out of the lives of individuals. That will put more money in people’s pockets and spur economic development.”
Does Aberdeen doing anything like this?
Committeeman Jack McNaboe announced that a ceremony will be held in the Manalapan Arboretum in front of Town Hall at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 to commemorate Veterans Day. All residents are invited to attend the ceremony.
A breakfast for veterans will be held in Town Hall after the ceremony.

Does Aberdeen do anything? That is truly the answer for most everything that goes on in the more aptly named Corrupterdeen. Let's review what our politicians and management of our community has done for our highest taxed in the entire county this year. We had the annual community day that from multiple reports had excessive charges placed upon our business community even all the way down reportedly having businesses being charged to utilize the sidewalk to display the store or business wares. Makes one wonder if our local food stores are charged on a daily basis for the grandiose and unsightly displays in front of their stores that seem to be constantly overcrowding the walks. As for the recent post of the Manalapan community leadership hosting a Veterans Day event to honor those like myself who've served to keep our country free. It is said that the Manalapan event will even host a breakfast for community veterans and their families. As I recall although I don't know for sure I don't recall if our leaders did anything for those the town lost on September 11. Now that I think of it our towns leaders in this community seem to only put time into events if they can charge or better yet overcharge those involved.
How much mismanagement will this council put up with from Miss Mismanagement? What am I saying that must have been an LSD flashback? This council mismanaged our town so it must be see no evil speak no evil hear no evil? Right Freddy boy?
I had a great dream lady night. I dreamt I was in a tropical location and was thoroughly enjoying myself. Great food with good company ws remembered. Then I woke up still in Aberdeen. Life really sucks folks don't it?
Where's all the pink ribbons like last year that were tied all over town for breast cancer awareness month?

I thought the baseball game and movie and charity ball game was on October 18. I just got home from work and there Is a message once again and not so shockingly it is not an emergency notification because that is what I signed up my family for real emergency notifications. Emergency calls are not for political nest building making political points by misusing the call system routinely. One thing I am glad for is I didn't have to endure Coach Tagliarini's voice this time on the non emergency politically motivated emergency call about a movie.

Rainy day so I looked up our towns name and joined it with some of the names of politicians in town. Wow what you can find on a rainy day. One interesting item I found had to do with an interview of both mayor Tagliarini and the manager miss Reycraft. On various subjects ranging from a now closed bar and nightclub they responded with answers that were so laughable I almost peed my pants. On the subject of the noisy bar they said they put it off on the county to check except they said the noise volume were within standards. In other words of better yet politi-speak they put it off on someone else as such people tend to do rather than take responsibility. The next response was about cardboard recycling.
Once again politi-speak they said it is something the town does. If you live in my neighborhood not many people put cardboard out on recycle day. So our politicians and the 4 bobble head managers we've had since i've lived here also speaks loudly. If this area wasn't so close for my commute i'd be gone. I do like walking to stores from my place on the weekends and my neighbors are real nice. As for politicians here we who like this blog know politi-speak is just the politically correct word for lies and liars.
No corruption my ass it's no management I hear. And we pay these people way too much.

On another subject I live real close to the bar or better yet nightclub that was told of in a recent post as causing problems with noise. I can assure you it was hell for my family and my neighbors when that business was operating. With the exception of several police officers who responded to our area over the years and not so shockingly our politicians and management failed to give us anything more than lip service. I am certain no one is shocked at such conduct by any politician in Aberdeen, Trenton or in Washington.

I wrote a letter to the prosecutors office yesterday imploring them to investigate this town from the mayor on down. I also asked that builders processing be looked into that have builders and businesses who've left our town and for the reasons why. I am tired of the towns politicians telling us they're going to do this and going to do that while nothing gets done.
I can't wait to see what election year promises the D's come up with for next years campaign. I mean they gotta come up with some new ones to get their lies across for 2015. I mean the old factory development still is not happened. The old tried and true senior housing still hasn't happened. The beach is till all rocks and barren. Sewers are still not being installed over there in the woods. So again I ask where are the R's?
What is S-cro when you want to add an addition. My wife and I started looking into putting on an addition and the two contractors said we probably need to apply for S-cro. The men said what we want to do will require being checked by the town for the size and property boundary measurements.
Where oh where did honest leadership in government go? Don't bother looking in Aberdeen or under the lack of real substantive pay to play rock the democrats hide under. You see the democrats only come out into the light when it's time to award another no bid contract to the cash money crooks also known as the towns engineers.

Wait are you saying an employee was threatened and there was an arrest. So somebody really got arrested, processed and actually went before a judge who then put the main in jail. And this happened in Aberdeen New Jersey in the county of Monmouth. The reason is other employees I know get threatened and nothing ever happens. It seems the lack of political or management responding to everything on here continues to prove the point many of those who post on here know full well. That of course is the corruption and illegal goings on are pervasive, costly and may be coming to a quick end. I was privy to the true fact that an internal investigation is underway of our town hall. I hear it may be tied to a threat and from recent reading of this site it probably involves the police force. It also may have to do with a criminal investigation of several members of our police force breaking the law themselves. If true the manager may be on the way out along with several council positions who ignored warnings. Time will tell I certainly hope.

I ask this since Sobel was the only town official quoted in an embarrassing full page article entitled Weird New Jersey that was published today in the Asbury Park Press on the town of Aberdeen? I say the embarrassing article because it was a big full page article complete with pictures. The news story included an old and from what the article says dangerous boarded up home located near the railroad line in town.
The unflattering article also included some insight on the old glass factory and how that was supposed to have been developed under our politically criminal democrats since 2004. I guess the writer has not looked to hard on how long developments work in Aberdeen. I mean the factory property has only been politically promised to be developed since 2004 and 10 years of lies about development proposals under the D's is a drop in the bucket. That's a baby in diapers to not get something developed in this town under our democrat crime syndicate in town.
I hope my fellow Aberdeener readers can find and read the article that has once again put our town on the map and not surprisingly not in a good way. Obviously the writer only scratched the surface on the development lies and political leadership failures in Aberdeen aka Corrupterdeen.
