A resident of Cliffwood approaches our police chief at the last zoning meeting in the beach concerning the yeshiva approvals. The woman asked the chief if with all of this building in the area and with the areas roads already being raceways with cars speeding everywhere what can be done. The chiefs comments say much and also asks a question if you think like I did after reading her Facebook post. The chief says that the town (i'm paraphrasing) could lower the areas speed limit to 5 miles an hour but enforcing that would require more men than he has working. Well if the police don't have enough men to keep the roads safe than that might explain a report that a trailer with about $100,000.00 in tools was stolen in that area recently also. It's been said on here and I don't know if it is true that our police cost us $4,000,000.00 or more a year and from the chiefs comments either we need a staffing review or need to hire more officers in this town to stop speeders and thefts if not much more we don't know about.

I fell asleep at the 9-11 dedication from yesterday and just woke up in the parking lot. It's a shame when politicians just talk and talk and talk and zzzzzzzzzz. I forgot what I was there for after the first 30 minutes but I thought I was there to remember bravery and sacrifice and lives lost. The entire event was politicized to the extreme with one after the other with nothing to say really zzzzzzzz. Sorry I just had a flashback of the mayor going on and on and on and zzzzzzzzz. Just walked past more cardboard already out for tomorrow's garbage pick up. That reminded me about the last post I put up about the big appliance boxes in the trash last week. I forgot to let you know that the big boxes were gone and not on the side of the house when I got off the bus that night. So much for recycling if big boxes like that get trashed.

Have finally been able to get some information on the now infamous municipal shakedown in the parking lot involving a former town attorney *NOT TO BE NAMED YET* and a developer *NOT TO BE NAMED YET* and the *NOT TO BE NAMED YET* Democrat politicians law firm specifically *ordered by the former attorney* to be used *only* it is listed as *AN AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES* and the requested *initial retainer for the law firm* of $25,000.00 with rates of $200-$400 per hour law firm rates. It also lists a *success fee* of $1,000.00 per unit payable at the time of the preliminary site plan approval. More is on the way I hope.

So the turnout at the high school for Aberdeen day I heard was abysmal once again. Is anyone surprised at that since that location was never worthwhile and was very overpopulated by local businesses under tents and the music playing loudly. Businesses that I really feel for since they have to pay the town to be there and not with a very beneficial result due to poor turnouts at Aberdeen day it seems year after year. I live right across from the high school and I didn't go again this year.
I did attend the event at the bowling alley for people and kids with various talents and thought it was very well put together and very crowded to boot. It was a given that the food store based events in the shops area were very well attended since they were feeding people. Like is said on here if you don't feed the democrat faithful at the occasional photo op events the democrats hold even they won't show without needing a fork.
The one benefit I heard at the high school was the lack of democrat politicians set up to schmooze. Then again it is not an election year this year so no surprise there wouldn't be a big presence really with over 1550 people on Facebook about the building saturation over there. I really think the towns management needs to consider the costs and manpower involved in the high school part of the event. This as it is not well attended and unless it is a funding source to facilitate other things for the day it does not seem worthwhile.
I've been following the posts about shootings in Chicago and it is truly unbelievable. The numbers for shootings that were over 2950 in all of last years has been surpassed. So far with over a hundred days left in 2016 3060 people have been shot in Chicago so far this year. I agree the Democrats have been the leadership in most of the urban environments where such crimes are out of control. What will the democrats ever do about this type of thing that they are blaming on the Republicans. That question won't be asked of candidate Clinton and if Trump says anything he's called a racist by the Democrats liberal media.

Matawan Council Candidates Charlie Ross and Frank Whalen Announce They Will Not Accept Any Compensation
To reinforce their commitment to the residents of Matawan, Republican Borough Council Candidates, Frank Whalen and Charlie Ross today announced that if elected, they will not accept a stipend or participate in the New Jersey State Pension Program. According to Candidate Whalen, “My reason for running in this election was to give back to the community in which I live. I am not motivated by any compensation that I may be entitled to.”
Candidate Ross further echoed that pledge, indicating that neither he nor Mr. Whalen would participate in the State Health Benefit Plan of the Borough as well. “Our greatest priority is to stabilize the huge budget increases and to keep the tax burden for our residents as low as possible. This time it's at Addison Park so I am figuring that Piazza D Roma did not make a big enough contribution to the democrats last year so he is not going to be feeding the political whores and hangers on at this years business dinner. It certainly isn't being held at a new location because these dinners are attended by hundreds of people and they need a big venue space. I think I heard last year maybe there were 25 attendees after you subtracted the politicians and business council members. It is probably mandatory they attend and knowing these crooks us taxpayers probably pay for the officials and police representatives to attend the Carmine and Fred Circus of Lies.
Aberdeen Economic Business Council have truly never done anything and it shows like the overgrown and unsightly old KFC property near me. Sure the AEBC got Carmine and his special PBA card last year for kissing the chiefs ass. But they've got the guy who pays for everything across town who in turn gets all the municipal contracts for big money and big money kickbacks of course so it's probably his turn for the get out of tickets card this year. But I got to ask what has this business council ever really accomplished in town that has helped and of our businesses? On here quite often is the suggestion and criticism of the Shop and Dine and Live and Enjoy Local shows that they can't even do something as simple as that to recognize and help our local businesses. If these geniuses can't even get a simple reminder like many of us see as we enter other communities then these small closed minded and only self serving types on the AEBC are not a business council they are a bullshitters council plain and simple.
And this year the not so stellar list of speakers recycles Kyrillos and Arnone. Arnone by the way who is rumored to be very not so secretly deep into this Hidden Acres build up the highway. Hidden Acres is actually a great name by the way since the quick approvals and no low income occupants in the rumored 200 apartments was very *Hidden* from public view and is starting to clear ground to build soon. Last year they had that new mayor from Jersey City. He's the kid that's pissing off the democrat powerhouses like Sweeney at the state level. So if all they can get are those two to speak then good luck. The best thing of all is the Mayor of Ignorantville himself Fred * I love to hear myself talk anytime* Tag-liar-weenie *again borrowed* is going to give *a report on the town*. Aberdeen Day was recently held but from the pics just posted albeit 17 days out from the event showed this ten year town tenant that the day was not well attended. I don't know about the events at the high school and other locations but our shopping center was good especially with Johns food set up. It was good for foodies and all of our businesses were able to interact with the attendees. Perhaps the town should really look at the locations and the high school being downsized as it looked very spread out. If I attend the business council get together I may give the mayor some ideas.

Some say they have a million and a half dollars in their groups accounts and they have the nerve to be begging for more? Ignored volunteer on here for the 'first time' you should know you're not ignored. It's just all just about getting votes out of your group of volunteers no different than our membership. The politicians only talk to us so we and our family members vote for them. As for raising money maybe you need to bring it up to the town. After all your group saves the town lots of money by directing traffic at so many events and we appreciate it when fires roar. Your groups actual mission to emergency services is very questionable. I'd suggest you look at other CERT teams like Marlboro-Manalapan if you want to see a well prepared group. Then really look at your group and its real preparedness for real emergencies. It is far more than having members sitting under tarps at events like your groups pictures show I assure you.
In 20 minutes our towns tax money is at risk under these self serving democrats.

Store is closed today so here I am with a couple questions and views. I've got to ask how many people does it take that are involved in Aberdeen Day to insult the organizations, businesses and others who overpaid the democrats to set up at the high school? I have to ask since the events did finally appear on Facebook 17 days after the day happened.
That fact was also disturbing to me if not others as that would have been a nice thing to do? Another thing now that I'm thinking of it is asking this question. How many town employees does it take to not put the picture array of people on the towns own website some 23 days later now? Another thing while I'm on a roll. How is it not one picture taken and placed on Facebook really shows the booths of attendees who were there? Such a thing would have been nice to help all of us advertise our involvement to the community event even after the event occurred?
I guess the multiple pictures of Carmine Vissone and the towns politicians was the key purpose to gain favor for the photographers. The repetitive pictures of the same people or groups I guess did in fact fill the photographers quota. It does little for showing our involvement in the event or represent us well as businesses or organizations in town? I also guess since many business owners set but up can't vote in town we don't matter as a voting block? I will not be involved next year for these reasons.
Looks like first timer is catching on. The town is using you first timer and like us over here they ignore you to.

Such development or in the case overdevelopment recently outraging the residents of the Cliffwood part of Aberdeen is all bad because over 700 residences are being put within an area less than 500 acres in total size. An area for the most part serviced by a one-one lane road that is already overburdened by high traffic patterns. Worse yet it was approved in a secretive and confusing manner that improperly and illegally hides such processes from your residents. Hidden by those who are sworn and entrusted with laws, rules and honest practices to protect your community. You communities elected leadership is the personification of the flawed and corrupted approval process.
The lack of agendas or meeting minutes publicized in advance in advance or after the meetings in your town have for many years been hidden. It is the most telling evidence of the purposeful corrupting of the approval processes used under your single party democrats that are void of bipartisanship. Most disappointing as an outsider is the typical and historic tactic of your towns democrats to back room approve these development proposals devoid of anything close to a fair public notice and honest process.
That is what needs to be addressed by the Cliffwood people that long overdue are in the face of the democrats that failed them. That truth much less the dishonest democrats who have betrayed the citizenry since taking over in the mid 90's. It is long past the time that you residents and others far beyond the Cliffwood group stay in the face of your officials for no other reason than the leaderships failures, betrayal and immoral self service to all of you is obviously flawed. Don't get me wrong my Matawan since Mayor Buccelao left is going down the drain.
