Four New Jersey men were charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on April 27, said a State Police spokesman.
At about 10:15 a.m., State Police stopped a BMW that was speeding on Route 78 in the area of milepost 6.6, said Sgt. Adam Grossman.
State Police approached the vehicle and could smell marijuana, Grossman said. Marijuana was found in the vehicle and the occupants were arrested and taken to the Perryville station, where they were charged with possession of marijuana.
James DeMatto, 30, of Freehold; William Mcguinn, 29, of Matawan; Gregory Cannon, 29, of Aberdeen; and Justin Deleo, 31, of Secaucus were all charged.

We can only sit around and ponder the answer.

Last week, attorney Gregory J. Cannon, acting pro-bono, filed a suit on behalf of Irene Merlin, a resident and taxpayer in Ocean Gate asking that the courts order Mayor Kennedy to either resign as Mayor or give up his Ocean Gate jobs. The lawsuit also alleged that since Kennedy did not perform the work he was being paid for, the Mayor is committing fraud against the taxpayers, and should repay the illegal salaries.
Cannon, who practices in Florham Park and who also serves as a Councilman in Aberdeen, commented: Mayor Kennedy is clearly violating the law. HIS ACTIONS BETRAY THE TRUST OF THE CITIZENS OF OCEAN GATE AND OF NEW JERSEY. ELECTED OFFICIALS CANNOT BE ABOVE THE LAW.

I saw another sign on my morning ride this morning that makes me laugh. New Homes for sale sign for houses that got built 8 years ago located by the still under construction for 6 years now pool club on Lloyd Road. Is it me or does 85+% of anything and everything started in this town never get finished?
Riding back on the trail in Matawan I took a close look at that giant monstrosity of a building by their municipal building. Talk about out of place being an understatement. What I thought of most while looking at the building skeleton was where's the safety wall separations. From what I can see from wanting to consider ever living in this building like that is that they better have put fire sprinklers in that building. Granted I am not in building for a living but this is a giant wood structure that from varying views leaves an average person with many questions as to who, what, when, where and why of such a big building that is totally out of place for the area.
I don't know much concerning building rules or the like so I only go with feelings. My feelings related to the building as well as its overwhelming size in our area is not good. I think we all have to get more involved with the process that lets such buy;dings be built as well as the time frames that building takes.
Another month of nothing beneficial being done for us taxpayers. F you to all democrats with an emphasis on the rats in demo-rats.

I checked on this possible recycling plant suggested to be put in Cliffwood. I could not confirm it is son to happen although I did find one property that could be the size needed. If these crooks in town hall try to put one in my area it's not going to be an easy approval. I can tell you one thing our local politician better be in the forefront of stopping a recycling plant with even more trucks than we put up with already in our area.
And the business group has done what to get us a new food store to go into the old A and P building. The answer of course when it comes to our side of town is zip, zero and nothing as usual when it comes to this side of town.
