It's local election season again and time for another Republican drumming. Should the Republicans choose to win an election rather than just run for the heck of it, here's a place they might try looking.
Aberdeen's Financial Statement to refinance its debt obligations.
- From 2012 to 2016, the municipal tax rate increased 17% (Page A-6)
- From 2012 to 2016, municipal spending increased 20% (Page A-7)
- Municipal debt is $26.9 million, 144% of the annual budget (Page A-9)
- From 2012 to 2016, municipal debt service increased 63% to $2.175 million per year and now accounts for 11.6% of the total budget (Page A-7)
Those numbers will worsen as interest rates increase. Now, you know why the township is so gung-ho on development. The money is already spent.
Below is a letter I received that I'm re-printing with the author's permission.

Are any of these "keywords" the truth of the
decisions, votes, and spending of our taxpayer dollars to not have truly
brought community wide beneficial actions by our elected Democrat only
officials "Oath of Office" in Aberdeen? Many in Aberdeen say
"absolutely not" from simply looking around our town you can see that
the "Oath of Office" sworn to by our Democrat only leadership was
more truthfully an "Oath of Abuse of Office" that betrayed the entire
Aberdeen community.
Many stores in Aberdeen have been closing up operations (despite
an Aberdeen Economic Business Council supposedly formed to help all of the
towns businesses equally). Our neglected beach areas promised to be improved
that campaigns labeled "The Jewel of Aberdeen". More truthfully our
"Jewel" of a beachfront areas have been ignored (despite 2017 campaign
year "promise of a new Water Park). Over 15 years of photo ops and failed
political promises.
More proof of the past two decades of Democrat only “promises”
to bring our town senior housing and "lower taxes through "smart
development" with constant campaign promises that "this next building
development will finally bring a Main Street to Aberdeen". That Main
Street "promise'' of course never happened for decades. The current
building surge no doubt will also be used in Democrat campaign 2017 literature
as "progress" but it will be very costly "progress" under
the equally questionable and manipulated PILOT Program that strips our Schools
of much needed tax monies from such politically controlled and approved
building projects.
In Aberdeen was the "Oath of Office" so often
taken by our leaders been a citizen betraying "Oath of Abuse of Office?
Was the "Oath just empty words for decades with politicized photo-ops and
political lies and tricks to maintain corrupt political control? We in Aberdeen

I was thinking, what might be a nice Boy Scout Eagle Project would be building a Gazebo to sit in the back there so people could get in out of sun or rain.
That sure would be a nice project but several years ago a Boy Scout had his Eagle Scout Project there building a community garden but unfortunately the township administration and council did not check to see if the area had access to water and the garden turned to be overgrown with weeds. So now we wonder did things change and is there access to water the garden.
Memorial Day is a day to celebrate the military not the volunteers and police although I thank them for their service. Sure some of them are veterans of military service but these political only hold such events to get out the vote. Such displays are insulting as they are held on such a day when military service is to be celebrated and the sacrifice of many. I will endure the politicos again at our VFW but they only appear here for pictures and to seek votes. The worst thing will be having to endure another lame ass speech by Mayor Tagliarini. We laugh at him as he is the one who speaks of that which he knows not.

How about an analysis of police staffing to best cover our town. I have not seen a police car on my street in years. Two and a half million dollars for a waterpark. I heard the big one at Asbury Park was much less and more than this town is getting for the money. The question involving a media firm that is purely politically motivated is in fact owned by a former neighbor of the towns political power broker Norman Kauff. Some say Kauff is no longer attached to democratic politics in Aberdeen this I doubt if Kauff still breathes. This I doubt since Norman Kauff is the epitome of a control freak. I do doubt that the Kauff co-conspirator Marc Coren is still involved though due to his being a convicted felon. Coren having been convicted of being a child luring pedophile might be even too radioactive for Kauff. I'm told Coren lured a male child under the age of 16 on a computer site for soliciting the child for sex.
I may have to ponder the still possible involvement or total absence of Coren though. I say Coren may possibly still be involved due to the fact that our local democrats still have two molesters presently involved in town leadership or other critical democrat roles. Secrets like that have been kept by the democrats for decades of those involved in running the sinking ship of debt either in the approval processes or decision making positions. I am told all is allowed due to their blind allegiance to all things corruptly democrat, immoral and illegal.
So as to the question of if the town still has an employee who is the Public Information Officer is a politically corrupt yes. If the PIO dishonestly actually stands for Political Information Operative. The fact that the town is paying an employee to only prop up our failed leadership while Lisa Kreda and the public relations media firm of Parness and Associates that just so happens to be owned by Kauff buddy and former neighbor Bill Parness on Justice Lane. Justice Lane or better stated Injustice Lane is where Kauff previously resided before moving to another community in the county. Parness by the way is another of the handpicked by either Mayor Tagliaringi or Kauff puppets that sits on the towns business committee. Another political operation that similarly to our Public Information Operative their only task is to prop up and support the democrat party of Aberdeen. using smoke and mirrors and lies of the ineffective leadership and corruptly controlled town management under Tagliarini and Councilman Cannon. Cannon by the way who is said to be a lawyer with numerous governmental jobs and a drug user and abuser.
Typical liberal democrat is the poster girl for total lack of accountability. That is the same as our pols just like the lousy comedian Kathy Griffin. She holds up a bloody head of the President of the United States and being a typical liberal she makes herself the victim. I can't wait until our towns pols finally get held accountable.

The bullshit coming out of town hall is reaching new lows even for these crooks yet again. I just got a letter from the Mayor and Town Council as to our street getting paved. I've lived here for over thirty years and now my street is getting done except like everything else these political crooks undertaking this has come with a vote seeking letter. Simply amazing is all I can say to this letter being sent.
How about the Mayor and Town Council save the suck-up letter and they get another food store in our old A&P center. How about they stop spending money putting a kids park where it floods all of the time. How about getting the house on Malden torn down. At least I didn't have to endure any phone calls this time, although the letter is no less insulting since they're supposed to pave our streets and don't have to take a victory lap for doing what they are supposed to do for us the people they work for.
Cliffwood Matters and we are finally being heard, that's why this election year Cliffwood Beach is finally getting a beachfront improvement. Granted people say the area is prone to flooding and historic vandalism but after all it'll give some democrat flunky or a politicians family member a cushy job. Of course politically that two million dollars being spent in a flood prone area is a bargain to our democrats.
You see if it wasn't an election year where the democrats are really worried about the attention the religious school is getting, and that is also drawing a lot of Facebook attention of over a thousand people who are paying attention to this issue and overdevelopment in Cliffwood who will no doubt cast a decisive vote. In 2017 Of course that beach improvement would only be another democrat only campaign promise or another sickening photo-op for the next campaign of lies. More blank expressions for political photos just like the one 15 years ago with Sen. Kyrillos and our local democrats taken at the basketball courts that promised beach area improvements. Of course no beach area improvements ever happened after that senatorial photo-op at the beach front but that is typical politics.
So if this wasn't such an important or worrisome election season the beach area would get nothing just like the past decades and just like the sewers that might finally be coming to the Freneau area of Aberdeen. So there was an Indian Kite Flying event at our beach last weekend and that was where all the trash on our beach came from. That's right I said our beach as it is the town of Aberdeen's residents beach. I have some questions to bring forth on this troubling subject and trashing of our beachfront area this past weekend.
1: Is a permit required from the town for such an event to be held for insurance liability to the town on our beach area?
2: Who if anyone allowed the event and were any town representatives in attendance or involved with the event?
3: Was this a political event under the guise of kite flying since that was a great amount of the considerable trash left behind?

4:Did the town clean up the mess after the event ended and will the organization be charged for the cleanup of all the trash?
5: Were any local businesses involved in this event under the towns business group?

7: Were the police or any other town workers checking the area during the event?
8: Is this a harborer of things to come to our beach area and new waterpark where non residents will use the area freely?
9: Will the waterpark have a worker and enforcement to assure the area is monitored and for us residents first?
10: Will the area be posted with signs that the area is for Aberdeen residents only since we paid for it?
I certainly hope this is not the future for our newly improved beachfront area. The flooding of the area is enough of a hazard for us to live with much less such an event and trash left behind from this last weekends kite flying event. This obvious abuse of our towns beachfront area by non residents needs to be seen for what it was an abuse of our towns resources.

John Shea Following is Council,man's Cannon response.. "Hey John Shea. The demolition of the water tower was performed on the private construction company's schedule. I'm sorry there wasn't more advance notice, but it was not and will not be the last vestige of the factory remaining. In the ATPD drone video, you can see the furnace and lower chimney portions (the only structurally sound portions remaining) of three of the former smokestacks in the background. As I understand it, those three structures will be refurbished and incorporated into the public park on the site with historical references to the factory, etc.
This is a great day for Aberdeen. It is the first time in 20 years that our town isn't marked for miles up and down the GSP by the water tower of an abandoned industrial site. And more importantly, everyone's home values in Cliffwood and Cliffwood Beach just increased now that you can have a realtor take photos of your home and street from any angle without a likely glimpse of a rusting, abandoned water tower somewhere in the background.
Although this is a sad day saying goodbye to our past, it's also a great day looking forward to our future. We are transitioning from a 20th century purely single-family tract home suburb serving as a spoke on the Raritan River industrial wheel to a 21st century commuter suburb connected to the financial and service based industries in northern NJ and NYC through a modern Transit Village.

To maintain property tax affordability in today's economy, a 21st century town must contain varied housing attracting households of all ages with a diversified tax base. The days of towns with inexpensive single family homes with working families shouldering the tax burden and relying on centrally located employers to economically support the people and the tax base are unfortunately over. Single family homes are becoming more expensive relative to household income and the central, industrial employers have been gone for 20 years now. An interesting fact about how times have changed is that the current largest employer in Aberdeen is the school district - a government entity that doesn't create wealth like Anchor Glass did; it just recycles our tax dollars with margins cut off.
The solution? Leverage our central NJ location by making the town as aesthetically appealing as possible with multiple housing options to attract a diverse population that either works at or owns small local businesses that create local wealth or commutes somewhere and brings back wealth into our town.
In that aesthetic vein, 910 Malden was also finally demolished this week - removing another eyesore from our neighborhoods. We're trying to work something out to take the Zuniak's dilapidated house down as well. The green patchwork house on Lenox is also on our list to address. I can try to find out about Zuniak house in advance. That would be town-initiated, so we'll know what's happening throughout the process from beginning to end. A 'transit village' of apartments and retailers is on the way for 2018 at the Aberdeen-Matawan train station.
Republican Michael Canberg, a real estate manager, wants 'smart growth' and sees Long Branch as the model.
The way Michael Canberg saw it, he was just a guy standing up for his neighborhood when he retained an attorney to fight a proposed yeshiva in the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen. Others saw it differently.
“Along the way people started approaching me, suggesting it at first, ‘You should run for mayor,’” Canberg said. “Then it became a direct question: ‘Would you run for mayor?’”

“You have a bunch of major developers building a bunch of major rental properties and pilot programs that are marginalizing the town’s ability to benefit from property tax,” Canberg said. “I want to see smart growth. We have enough shovels in the ground right now. We don’t need to add more development to our town without realizing how that impacts us and how the overall population of the town will benefit.”
Canberg, who is married with a 6-year-old stepdaughter and a baby on the way, moved to Aberdeen in 2014 after 14 years in Long Branch. He sees that city’s mixed public-private development, widely hailed as a resounding success, as a model of “smart growth” for Aberdeen’s waterfront.
“The Jersey shore is known throughout the world and we have a dilapidated shorefront (in Aberdeen),” he said. “It’s embarrassing, that it has been allowed to fall into such disrepair. I engaged in a lot of real estate developing that went on in Long Branch, and I know how a successful plan works.”
The 42-year-old real estate manager said yes, and on Tuesday he became the Republican nominee for November’s election. Running unopposed in the primary, he collected 343 votes. Longtime mayor Fred Tagliarini, a Democrat, got 815.
“I definitely have an uphill battle,” Canberg said. “He’s a well-entrenched political entity in this town.”
In an interview with the Asbury Park Press May 30, Tagliarini credited the township’s leadership for keeping next year’s municipal tax rate unchanged and for the renovation of Veterans Memorial Park in Cliffwood Beach.
Canberg said he is challenging the incumbent for the same reason he spoke up about the yeshiva: He’s concerned about Aberdeen’s development plan. Four major projects are underway, including the $200 million Glassworks and $50 million Transit Village residential and retail developments. As for the Cliffwood yeshiva plan, it got pulled from the table after Canberg and other neighbors mobilized in opposition.
“I’m no rabble-rouser,” he said. “I’m not here to storm the fences. It’s not my nature.”
But by airing development concerns, he said, “we’re hitting a nerve.”

Watching the 2016 presidential debates it made me realize how little a lot of us know about those who run for local office. I was thinking for this November’s election it might be nice if we had public debates between the candidates, thus introducing them to the residents and what they stood for, their platforms. They could be held at different parts of township; schools, community center, etc. Maybe moderated by say a reporter from Asbury Park Press or Channel 12. If not debates, what about “Town Hall” Meetings were residents could meet with candidates and ask questions of them. Or maybe have both, debates and “Town hall” meetings. If supervisor 1 fails to do their job another employee is then brought up on charges and paid to retire.

Big fire here in Cliffwood late yesterday and nothing on the news or local web. Guess cause it is Cliffwood it is not newsworthy? Cliffwood will soon be on the map on election day and of that there is no doubt. We will not be ignored ever again.
How is it all of these biting statements and possible examples of years of political corruption and shameful conduct by our democrats. They are feeding at the public trough and have hardly any accomplishments those named never respond or defend themselves. Is it guilt or fear that cause these people to ignore this site and all that is posted on here.
And the do nothing corruption rolls on and now us taxpayers are getting screwed over with all of this crooked development. Liars all of them are nothing but lying politicians. The three running for reelection must be stopped.
This morning on the towns website I read of another town hall announced today for an adult themed"Movie in the Park" or better yet it's real a politically motivated purpose of the movie night being "A Political Vote Getting Date Night Disguised as a Movie in the Park" (No doubt a no Children Warning Allowed will need to be issued by the towns two media outlets due to the movies V-violence L-language and S-sexuality) so wait for it.... wait for it.... "the movie to be shown will be paid for on our taxpayers dime is "A Bronx Tale" written by and starring the renowned actor Chazz Palminteri. For those who don't know it the movie A Bronx Tale is an R Rated movie and is also a movie full of profanity (notably the N word and and other assorted ethnic references) and shall we say it is not anywhere close to a politically correct movie in this liberal democrat media controlled America that we endure living in today.
Myself I actually find the choice of the movie to be quite telling citing the fact that the movie is based on one mans "ultimate control" of an organized crime family. Actually it sounds very familiar to our own present day political "Organized Crime Political Crime Family we call the Aberdeen democrats". Without a doubt it is sadly ironic especially if you've seen your tax bill lately that our school taxes are very soon to go up for the monies from the traffic and congestion low income producing development presently underway in Aberdeen money that normally comes from developers for school taxes were stolen under the democrats favored PILOT Program.
Presently our towns political daily democrat only crime drama continues to be playing out inside the offices of our town hall with our politicians campaigning for reelection in our political leadership actors all in starring roles. As the organized crime "Mafia Don" we have our own Fred "Freddy Big Mouth That Lies to All of Us" Tagliarini along with his co-stars Deputy Mayor Margaret "Kids are my Business" Montone and (the underwhelming actor acting as a councilman who is often thought to actually be sleeping at council meetings or as shown from the often "purposely delayed council meeting records that show he in fact often misses council meetings) Councilman Joe "the Mannequin" Martucci. All of them will no doubt be at the R rated movie presentation serving up free popcorn and looking for or better yet lying for your vote. Sure maybe I am the only one opposed or questioning an R Rated movie about an Organized Crime Family that is full of violence, beatings, death, foul language and far worse paid for by us taxpayers. I mean if you want to see a crime drama there is one presented every two weeks inside town hall starting at 7:00 it is called the Aberdeen town council meeting. With all of this that I find telling and troubling I must ask one question. Can "Pornography Movies in the Park"(courtesy of our disgusting taxpayer betraying democrats be) far away?

From the pictures I see this was no little fire at our beachfront that destroyed some of the parts needed for the $2.5 million dollar water park. A build that was close to being completed from watching it weekly. A water park by the way that is only being placed simply to get votes out of our Cliffwood Beach area. Votes for this years election that the democrats should be worried about due to their saturating development nearby and the mounting uproar also from Cliffwood. A water park by the way that our foolish leadership thinks makes perfect sense to build in our long ignored area of the town in an area that historically floods.
I wonder have our self serving do nothing democrats considered these things happen since they are no F'ng good and simply put bad karma is justly upon them due to their evil taxpayer gouging ways. 143 days until election day although this house is voting for the republicans running this year if only because they are not incumbents, much less attached to the same do nothing for decades democrats. The seawall is still not properly checked for trash from fisherman, much less the recent kite event that trashed our beach area. I can only imagine that our politicians made an appearance at the kite event and looked the other way when our beach was trashed. Nothing the democrats do in this town surprises me any longer. I am waiting to see how they protect and restrict the use of the water park. Only time will tell I guess it should be for town residents only.

Interesting conversation today with a construction worker presently working on the old Bell Labs building in Holmdel. It seems that the Bell Labs job is owned, run and supervised by the same people building new residences at the old factory by the parkway in our Cliffwood area of Aberdeen.
Here are the facts as told to me by someone who has been working on the site for years. I urge you to read it all and consider that our towns politicians have bent over backwards for these people and we taxpayers will be paying the price after they sell off their product and run for the exits while never looking back at what they've built.
This was a simple conversation and you readers can either believe it or dismiss it. It has not been confirmed as to the owners side of the story and we can only hope our towns construction inspectors are putting safety ahead of probable pressure from our dirty rotten stinking politicians and the political pressures and demand of such developers that due to the vast amount of monies will do anything and everything to keep developers happy.
1. The Bell Labs property was sold to these people for twenty seven million
2. The building bought is two million square feet and the property totals eighty five acres
3. The building has had engineers in it for five years that quickly patch major and minor deficiencies do not fully repair
4. Roof leaks are a constant in the building and often near electrical panel areas
5. Work is done by contractors in a low bid process and it shows in the work performed to date
6. Toll Brothers bought the great majority of the property to build luxury homes for one hundred and twenty seven million
Do the math people and see what the real profit margins are when our politicians sell us town residents financial futures to the highest bidders like such developers. Think about this information and the very real possibilities when this much money comes into a town like ours much less with debt like our towns politicians have kept hidden. Much less with backroom deals with our greedy uncaring politicians that do nothing that have done nothing that benefits our community for decades.
These are the same people building in our town and who have our politicians in their pockets.

Or when he *sincerely criticizes a republican politician in a nearby town for attaining multiple government jobs when Councilman Greg Cannon himself hypocritically *sincerely gets multiple government jobs for himself.
All this happens while Councilman Greg Cannon *sincerely doesn't give a damn about any of those he swears official oaths or that he repeatedly swears to *sincerely represent but never does.
Or he *sincerely gets his friend to take a criminal conviction for covering up for Councilman Cannon' lawyer friends for illegal drug possession that possibly occurred during a motor vehicle stop by a NJ State Trooper.
Or he *sincerely hides his drug arrest just prior to an Aberdeen election that Councilman Cannon never divulged to us voters.
Or it *sincerely helps his fellow arrestee and his long time childhood friend to corruptly and unethically become the Township of Aberdeen' Judicial Prosecutor for our towns official Municipal Court proceedings.

Aberdeen Township Economic Business Council Creates Internship Program with Matawan Regional High School
Matawan Regional H.S. and the Aberdeen Township Economic Business Council will be collaborating on an internship program for MRHS seniors.

Starting this September, Matawan Regional High School (MRHS), and the Aberdeen Township Economic Business Council (EBC), will be collaborating on a project to establish an internship program for MRHS seniors who want to intern at Aberdeen-based businesses.
EBC Chairman Carmine Visone will be working with Assistant Principal Sean Cronin to place eligible students with businesses that match the student’s interests and field of study.
Businesses who would like to host an intern are asked to notify Aberdeen Township Business Liaison Maxine Rescorl, as soon as possible at (732) 583-4200 ext. 101. A database of interested businesses will be created to present to the students, so they are able to see what opportunities are available and subsequently select a position. Once a student selects a position, Assistant Principal Cronin and Carmine Visone will provide a personal introduction between the business and the student before the internship begins.

Businesses will be responsible for offering part-time hours, which can also include weekends and holidays. Compensation for the student to work will be at the discretion of the business. Business owner must complete an evaluation form (which will be provided to them) based on the student’s performance, attendance, etc.
“This is an effort to bring the community closer together with the businesses of Aberdeen,” said Visone. “It is a great way for businesses to recruit new employees once graduation is completed, as well as, provide a positive impact to those students who wish to gain work experience and enhance their field of study through an internship.”

Someone posted under the name of Avenge Me who has provided some interesting information to us. I hope the R's start using it to question the D's conduct and results if any can be provided. I suggest this be done not to seek revenge or embarrass the D's but to get a just and honest explanation but to get some sort of an explanation. There are many examples presented in this recent posting that came with the promise of more to be divulged if the initial information is used to seek out explanations. I would suggest finding out about the towns debt status and if in fact taxpayer monies were used to pay fines for the possible improper conduct of any employee. In this age of political disarray I suggest this be an honest search for truth not partisanship.

Train station improvements planned for Aberdeen started being promised in 2002 under our democrats. I guess that's what the democrats call progress. That shows it only took a little over fourteen years to put the first shovel in the ground to actually build in late 2016. Senior housing improvements started being promised under the democrats earlier than that and they just started that in 2017. Boy are we getting our monies worth if you don't count on anything happening in less that a decade plus or so.

A fire somehow happens at Veterans Park involving some of the new waterpark construction materials and a news report mentions that there was some public disapproval with the project that is part of the official police investigation?

This is the first time it has happened to me but I have read of this kind of thing on here before. I moved in from Staten Island where anything you put out gets gone. Here it seems at least today that I must not have given enough of a Christmas gift to our trash guys. I mean I got the trash guys holiday greetings weeks before Christmas. That was well in advance as they were obviously looking to me for a holiday time tip.
Let me guess nobody in town hall looks at the trash guys when they hit up residents for a holiday gift, a gift from even half of us homeowners in town is a really big number. Looks like the dumpster at work gets my wood and trash first thing in the morning.
I walked over by the beachfront this morning and it doesn't look like the water activity area will be ready soon. The mayor I think said it was to be open in July. Time will tell I guess is my thought on cool water relief for our kids.
Have the corruptocrats started interviewing for their next puppet to be paid to follow orders only town manager yet. I heard Fred just retired so since he manages the town illegally already why not give him the job anyway.
