Surviving the Storm

Here’s a couple of tips –

  • Gas up the car – it could be your only power supply
  • Fill the tubs with water so you can flush your toilets
  • If using candles, don’t burn down the house
  • No electricity, no water, keep lots of dry goods for eating and liquids for drinking
  • No credit cards, no ATM’s, cash is king
  • Grab everything from outdoors before it starts crashing through your windows
  • Now’s a good time to load your Kindle or borrow some books from the library.  It could be a while
  • A first aid kit is always handy, just in case
  • Flashlights need batteries. Best to get both
  • Charge your cell phones beforehand
  • If you’re in a flood zone, don’t bother waiting. Just go

Best of luck to everyone. May G-d protect you and your loved ones.

Thank you for your concern Gary. Keith Carlson was a very good man with a caring heart and a love for music second that was second to none. Matawan, Aberdeen and Manasquan lost its most faithful and fervent good time ambassador yesterday. I feel most fortunate to have been left with thirty six years of great memories of my very good friend. I would ask that those of you who knew him that you remember him as you saw him last. Please say a prayer for his son Gunnar, his family and his countless friends and left with a hole in our hearts at Keith Carlsons passing. I remember the first time I saw him at middle school basketball practice. He was this good looking blonde haired kid from over in Strathmore. Keith and I didn't like each other when first we met and thankfully that did not last long at all. I will miss him and his friendship all the days of my life going forward until we meet again. I have no doubt he will have some new funky music and some drinks for us to enjoy when we meet again.

I went to high school with those guys. Kieth worked for and then owner Carlson's Corner in Squan years ago. Those guys were closer than close since we were in school. If you saw one you saw the other. Kieth was always at the football games for both towns and cooked for the alumni events here in town. He was well known for sure.

IT'S TIME FOR GIVING BACK NEW JERSEY!

IT'S TIME TO REBUILD THE STATE WE LOVE!

Everyone needs to go through their closets and give clothes and anything else they don't need or use to those who've lost everything. Union Beach locally has been decimated with reports of over 100 houses destroyed alone. Holy Family is one that is local on Rt.36 in Hazlet.

Check for local places to drop off any items you have to donate. Check our local website, NJ.Gov or look for updates from Governor Christie, who by the way is doing a great job with his team to keep us informed and assured that New Jersey will survive this natural disaster, and check your TV from time to time for information.

Thank you New Jersey.

By the way Governor Christie is doing a great job with this state as we start the recovery of our state from this natural disaster. My concern is if Obama can lead the nation even one more day with such a sordid first term, economy in the tank, borowing money all across the world and the middle east continuing to be a ticking time bomb.

Whatever happens tomorrow will be historic. On one hand we have a successful businessman who our country may need to stop the financial bleeding and borrowing. Versus a man who was to say the least has been disappointing on every issue and critical issue important nationally and world wide.

I heard something today on the radio that needs to be shared. Geraldo Rivera on his radio show today endorsed the Romney / Ryan ticket. Geraldo stated that he made this difficult choice as he truly believes that Romney / Ryan are his choice to lead our country through the very tough choices that have to be made to restore our countries economy going forward. Geraldo further explained that his decision was not easily made citing the nations major economic problems along with the equally tough choices and major changes that these Romney / Ryan know have to be made in regards to healthcare, social security and many other such overly expensive social programs. Geraldo stated that the Romney / Ryan ticket were best suited to move America forward on those important topics.

Geraldo then stated that while he felt that strongly about their qualifications, experience and vision for America, he would be casting his vote tomorrow for Barrack Obama mainly because of Mitt Romney's stance on immigration and choices that will have to be made in filling upcoming vacancies for our United States Supreme Court by whomever is elected to be the next President of the United States.

While I feel confidently that the media has been in the bag for Obama despite the complete and total failures of the past four years of the miserable Obama administration and remain so up to and including tomorrow. If you doubt me respond with just one example of an actual Obama administration success. The several multi-billion dollar Stimulus Program was a monumental failure. The clunker program was equally an overly expensive failure. The billions wasted and misappropriated for solar energy. The international decisions and ever changing policies on Israel and most every other ally have been abused and feel completely betrayed by Obama. And finally the laughable label of Obamacare that will no doubt be overly expensive, inconvenient and is something that your own doctor will tell you that without hesitation will not work.

On the other hand I cringed at the Clint Eastwood empty chair routine at the convention it pales in comparison to the lies and antics of Obama / Biden administration's decisions, to say nothing of the mess left behind by the man who promised the worlds oceans would be saved, bipartisanship would be the norm in Washington D.C. and that America would move forward under the Obama mantra of Hope and Change. The only Hope and Change I have for America is that Obama, his Czars and his latest lie of Forward ends up going back to just being what a car does when you put your car in drive.

So Geraldo knows what is best for the whole country but bases his decision on some of the main things that have caused the economic crisis that both the Democrats and Republicans in Washington know the tough life changing decisions must be made to save the same programs and people Geraldo knows contributed to the historic economic crisis of our country whose leadership borrows forty cents of every dollar from communist countries and has done nothing to stop that.

I will not watch any of the media outlets or bobble heads on television I will awake Wednesday in hopes that Hope and Change will be have been replaced by two men seeking to restore America to the world power it was up until four years ago.

Geraldo is a jerk and he is typical of our too many in our society that greedily only worries about themself. The unions in our country and state are exactly the same. They'll go for BHO just to keep the D's writing checks we taxpayers can't pay for. That is the America that BHO ruined in less than 4 years.

Warren Drive said...

Obama and America were told in weird way by Clint Eastwood one important and true thing. If someone does not do their job you've got to let them go. Obama has got to go for not doing his job.

Vote Romney Put Obama on political welfare where Obama will make tens of millions of dollars giving speeches while trying to still convince us that he was not a total failure. A man who ruined our country by continuing to buy votes for the democrats by keeping the social programs overly funded while blaming everyone but himself.

Typical politician is all that needs to be said of Obama. One final thing once the dust settles let's get back to outing Kauff and his corruption that is killing Aberdeen.

Obama wins America loses said...

Unions built America and isn't it ironic that they are now tearing America down with their selfish greed. Teachers, firemen and police have had it tough but no tougher than us who pay them. They are quick to say that they took the jobs for the benefits when the pay was 20% less than others. Now they're retirement benefits are 40% higher than us and they don't like the fact we are tired of the unions mathematics. They will cow tow to the democrats because they gave them everything even when they knew it was more than us in the private sector. That's why they are going for the dems all the time. unions, welfare, lazy people and those that like being taken care of works for them.

Probably going to be the usual Kauff hacks telling us how they care for us and worked hard. Just lies from beginning to end i'll betcha.

Maybe they will tell us how a house catches fire on our block and is destroyed an hour after the fire department left the first time. The same exact house was totally destroyed after firemen said the fire was out the first time. Shameful is all that can be said.

2,000,000 votes screwed us said...

2,000,000 vote difference is not anything close to a mandate for Obama to continue his socialist agenda.

2,000,000 vote difference nationally is not a mandate to continue to divide America along financial, race and ethnic lines.

2,000,000 vote difference is not a mandate to continue to cater to illegal immigrants, student loan fake outs and trillions of dollars to bail out crooks, ill run companies and overfunding social programs crippling America.

2,000,000 votes in a nation is a mandate for nothing.

It just means 2,000,000 believed the Obama lies.

2,000,000 voters screwed us as a nation.

An incumbent should have one handily.

Aberdeen officials did a horrible job with hurricane Sandy I say. Lack of information was the main problem I think. The website for the town was non existent along with emergency updates or information. When I talked to a woman working at town hall yesterday her response was that the town opened warming centers as soon as town hall got power. And if you have no power you know that how? Does the town hall building have a backup generator if it loses electricity like during this crisis. If they don't have one they should get one before the next storm hits. Makes sense to me and I am not an elected official or paid. to protect the community.

The moanagement yes I meant moanagement of Aberdeen is not kidding anyone with todays article in the Asbury Park Press. Technology is not dependable is the excuse now. I drove past cops in my neighborhood parked at the highway intersections for days instead of many other things they should have done or thought of to help us. That was stupid and wasted manpower putting police at highway crossings. I went back and forth helping my brother in Keansburg and did not see any other town sit cops to watch traffic. It probably padded police overtime a bunch to just watch traffic go by . I saw after a week they put school buses at the crossings by goodwill and Mcdonalds instead of the cop cars. Were there no wooden barricades to use instead of cop cars to keep people from going thru. The last time I paid a bill over there I saw enough parked cop cars at the building to have put them where they finally put the buses. Guess no one thought of that one. I was off for most of the first week and saw them parked there most of the time.

Now they use technology as the problem to keep us informed instead of them admitting they screwed up really big. I want to see the bill for overtime for police sitting at traffic crossings instead of announcing places to go or keeping an eye on peoples property. They can sit cops at the highway and on the phone for days but tell us where to get help or a warm place was not the a priority. Sure the cops were out there but at what cost and benefit. What do they pay these manager jokers to screw up and piss us off this much. Guess the boy scout motto of be prepared don't work for our supposed town leaders and protectors. Every other town around us kept people informed why not ours. I hope when they cash those overtime checks they give the money they got for sitting watching traffic to help the public they failed to inform or watch over. I don't think the article really tells us how pissed off people were at that meeting. I kick myself for not going but I watched over me and my neighbors no charge.

What costs tax payers $142,426.00 a year? Is this the cost to Aberdeen for all of the hurricane damage? Is this the cost of the town employees overtime for Hurricane Sandy? No $142,426.00 is what the Chief of Police alone gets paid every year. My neighbor showed me that salary number last night and he also found out that Police Chief John Powers is also listed as the OEM officer for Aberdeen. What is OEM? OEM stands for Office of Emergency Management. It is a position to be in charge of emergencies. So does he get paid even more money to be the towns OEM officer? Or in this case get paid more money to not do the job as OEM officer? Someone dropped the ball and changes need to be made so this does not happen again. What will our town leaders do to assure us it will be better prepared for the next emergency? New person to be the OEM person is my choice for a new start at making sure our town management is 100% prepared. We trust them and we pay them to watch over our town.

Read the Matawan Patch if you get a chance today. Articles are on there related to the storm that we in the business call Hide and Seek. Articles have Police and town officials trying to explain away the mistakes they all made in the storm that hurt and frustrated our community.

From call back systems that could not alert people to get help or get updated the excuses just keep coming and coming. They think we will just forget their failures during the storm. I hope they are very wrong and people don't forget what those we pay a bunch of money failed to do. They screwed up and we got the screwing.

Read some of the article comments while you are at it. There's one comment from a person named Kim Cole complimenting the police for their service during the storm. Others are similarly laughable on other several different articles concerning the hurricane. I hope the Patch does an article on the over time costs for the police force.

Business owners don't matter said...

Matawan Patch is great and informative. Just read that the Aberdeen business council is going to meet with us business owners and now they want our input. Really the business council want our input as business owners? I think they only want to make a list of potential contributors to their big democratic election campaign fund that the democrats will need before the next election. I have a suggestion for them from a soon to retire business owner leaving this town. If you think anyone of us thinks the town manager selected Carmine to head the council they got another thing coming. He's nothing but a small timer the way he came begging time and again for money for the towns festival and sign costs. Carmine don't ask he pressures people and that turned many of us off. For too long before this business council started we business owners were ignored and overcharged and enforced. Now we are supposed to believe this new business council wants to hear what we think. On another front look at who is on the council for instance. It looks like the cast of the damn sopranos television show. I saw the article on Eugene Demarco donating food after the storm. When have you ever seen that before from them? We older store owners know why the council members are who they are and it looks like little more than a bunch of me first screw everybody else just so I get mine types. That is this towns business leaders and they want our input.

One said he thought the engineering firm and planner for the town were there. Then Frank Pallone stood like a bobble head doll with the mayor and council in a side room off the bigger room. They were probably busy taking pictures and sucking up to Pallone for future political advertisements. The whole thing was a joke. The other funny part was Cheif Powers taking the fall from start to finish. I hear he's never wrong so it must have tasted like sand in his mouth to own up to screwing up during the worst natural disaster to hit our area. ots all just bull in my opinion with these type politicians. Strange how the media failed to report how the Mayor and council hid from us until we chanted how we wanted the Mayor and Deputy Mayor not the clowns they put in the big chairs up high to tell us how bad they screwed up. Most of the people did not say much from those chairs. All I heard was excuses from beginning to end from overpaid political hacks who did not do their jobs when we needed them the most.

Good reporting finally said...

While at lunch today I found the Independent left by a previous diner. I looked inside even though I find that newspapers seldom get it right or are anything close to probing or investigative. But even I must admit that this weeks reporting of the meeting as to the hurricane response by our town was very good. This time was right on the mark and well written. Reporter Nicole Antonucci gave a great description and blow by blow of the cowards that showed themselves that night to be our elected officials.

Nicole factually described Mayor Fred Tagliarini who as reported pushed off the sad excuse for an effective response to the recent hurricane by himself and others on the paid employees and manager. It seems the face to face shouting seemed to be a total surprise to the Mayor and others in attendance. Absent from the article wording was the supposed attendance of Cong. Pallone that has been suggested on the Aberdeener that Pallone if in attendance pulled a quick disappearing act when the citizens outrage showed itself. Father in the Independent there is an article titled "Pallone turns to storm recovery during re-election drive". Another must read for political watchers.

So it seems the listing of those that Mayor Tagliarini pointed to for those in attendance to get answers were those involved in the daily operation of the town. That did not sit well with the reported 150 residents in attendance. The one question I have is was it necessary to have as described in the article town planner there? Seems strange as how would a town planner be needed in such a meeting. I suspect it was just to pad the bill perhaps or give hours. Like is said honestly on here so very often our towns leadership leaves so many questions with so much corruption. In this instance it is so many mistakes so many excuses.

Think about it Mayor Tagliarini before you step forward and insult people with as was reported in the article giving a civic lesson to people left uninformed and scared by their supposed town leadership when they were needed them the most.

Once again the malcontents in our town are ranting, attempting to blame hurricane damage and the power outage on your town council. Mistakes were made, but they were made by the staff and employees of the town, not by Mayor Tagliarini and the council. Your town council will study this and ensure that it will never happen again.
Once again Norman Kauff's name is brought into the conversation. Mr. Kauff had nothing to do with Hurricane Sandy or any of the actions our town may have taken. He is a good man and I know in his heart he weeps for the community he loves, Aberdeen.
Some of you say you will remember on Election Day next year. Please! Like all the previous elections where the Republicans got trounced?
Who do the Republicans put up? Uninvolved newcomers to our town who usually don't even stay here in Aberdeen. Those who do stay and get involved usually become Democrats like Mayor Tagliarini.
My sources tell me that the Republicans may not even run candidates next year. Either way, Mayor Tagliarini and the Democratic Team will be reelected!
With a track record of dedication to the community he loves like he has, nobody should be bashing Norm Kauff, you should be thanking him!!!

The failure of Aberdeen hurricane Sandy mess continues. Everyday the paper prints updates on what the towns are doing and our town is doing nothing it seems. Sure the storm is over but the damage remains for our fellow county residents. Any fund raisers being held in Aberdeen for them. Any updates or advisories on getting help. What's listed today an advisory of a business group meeting. If the business community is raising money or giving help to others hurt or displaced that's great. I think it's a mistake that tells me our leadership is doing NOTHING. Prove me wrong please. Aberdeen is a joke and it deserves it from the mayor on down. Officials stood up for Kauff said...

It wasn't officials that stood up for Aberdeen that I recall and i've lived here since 1977. Look at the last 20 or so years for instance and list for me any real improvements in this part of town. Real improvements that is that did not line the pockets of Kauff, CME and the democratic party of Aberdeen.

Save yourself a lot of time thinking about it. There's none, nada, zip, zero not a single one. Likewise there has not been one official who really stood up for our side of town. I do recall that Kyrillos and Thompson came once promising beach improvements soon to come. The walkway down my street does not count as those names, officials and company above got plenty of our tax dollars.

That's how Aberdeen rolls. It's always promises from our officials that never get fulfilled at great taxpayers expense. That goes without saying under our present corrupt officials and their corrupt leader.

DID OUR LEADERSHIP ORGANIZE A FOOD OR CLOTHING DRIVE SINCE THE STORM?

NO OUR COUNCIL HELD A MEETING UPDATING RESIDENTS THAT TURNED INTO A HIDE AND SEEK WITH THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL.

HAS OUR COUNCIL SOUGHT MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO DISCUSS IDEAS OR PREVENTATIVE ACTIONS TO ENSURE BETTER COMMUNICATION, PRE-PLANNING AND BETTER PREPAREDNESS?

NO THEY HELD A BUSINESS GROUP MEETING.

NOW IS THE TIME TO DISCUSS THE NEEDED CHANGES FROM WITHIN THE COMMUNITY NOT ONLY RELYING ON THOSE WHO HAVE FAILED US NOW AND WHO THINK WE WILL HAVE SHORT MEMORIES OF THEIR UTTER FAILURES WHEN WE NEEDED THEM MOST. THEY WILL IGNORE US AND COUNT ON US FORGETTING. THEY ARE SO VERY WRONG.

Well everyone it's that time of year again!!!

When our corrupt Fire Department has the audacity to ask for donations when they get TAX MONEY from all of us.

Also to emphasize their civic contribution to us all for being there they cite their statistics.

Well it appears that they must be embarrassed by the 2011 yearly totals because they have once again rolled out the stats from 2010.

I wouldn't give them a dime since they stand on the street corner to collect money, and net about $4,000 in a day. The boots they hold out say Firemen's Relief.

What is that relief for? A fireman in need? New equipment? Funding for their weekend in Wildwood every year?

No it is to subsidize their over spending on pensions for do nothing officials who are paid unlike other township boards, and to make certain that their yearly clothing allowance of just under $600 (which is the legal limit so it isn't reported to IRS) given to each of our "unpaid" volunteers.

I think they should have been truthful about the previous year, and I wouldn't give them an extra dime. For the size of our township they have way too much equipment. 5 trucks for a town our size is stupid. The taxpayers are laying out the cost of maintaining all that equipment, and paying full time salaries to part-time workers. Some of which are totally unnecessary.

Don't get me wrong I do appreciate the rank-n-file firemen for their dedication, and service, but I can't stand the corruption and cronyism at the top of their organization.

More flashy equipment means Chief Lou and his ego are well fed and his reputation with others like him are impressed he can get so much with so little real need. We need the true volunteers but the fact that they and their families vote gives them carte blanche with our bought and paid for politicians. No newspaper in front of my house so I looked at the Matawan Patch site. I got to laugh though because the Aberdeen mayor had the nerve to give his residents a Thanksgiving message. Kiss our ass he owes us more than that as the Mayor. The failures we pointed out that night were just a little bothersome to them. The proof is in the Asbury Park Press every stinking day. How many days they've printed the same school changes rather then brush pick up notices and other important things our community needs since the storm. They've failed us often since the storm hit and need to improve. They truly don't care about us and are probably bothered we dared to speak out and criticize their faults and lack of preparedness. Too bad I say to them as it's the least we deserved to say to them that night. People are pissed off in town and they deserved to be so.

Looks like Minutulo or Gus T. are back on blog. Join the party now that you are probably over getting screwed over by Kauff.

Anonymous said...

Normie also gave us councilwoman Gallo until she started checking on CME. Then he kicked her to the curb because she knew the biggest problem in Aberdeen is CME and Norman Kauff. Truth, justice and the illegal Normie way. That is Aberdeen. Normies Aberdeen unfortunately.

Just wanted to drop in and see how you two queers enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Mine was great. I donated most of my Aberdeen republican carcasses from last season to the food pantry, but I saved that nice plump buck and that doe that I bagged during the school board season for my feast. Mmmmmmmmmmm! They sure were tasty! I can't wait until next November!

Anonymous said...

Minutulo and Toomey F them to they sold us out in the name of Kauff too. Kauff told them to take a hike because they wanted too big a piece of the corruption pie.

Anonymous said...

Gus Toomey now there was a real genius. Kauff used him up pushed him out and then he goes to the Republicans and screws them up to the point that Ed Fitzgerald seems to be the glue to try and keep them together. That's what happened to the once strong Republican Party. No wonder Fred Tagliarini fell under the spell of Democratic corruption that is Norm Kauff. Right Fred Tagliarweenie?

Anonymous said...

Snow in Aberdeen today I see. Too bad it won't cover the bleeding of the taxpayers by Kauff and his CME.

Anonymous said...

And without fail the Kauff CME.corruption continues.

That's right bitches! I told you my ass was gonna get paid! Read the Patch......I'm a bad motherf$$ker!!!

Jen Galo got her payment for selling out the taxpayers I hear. Seems she needed a relative employed and once that happened she was a good soldier for Kauff for a while anyway. Her mistake and summary dismissal by Heir Kauff sent a big message to the other Kauff groupies to do as Kauff says or you go the way of Jen Galo. for daring to check on the Aberdeen taxpayers nemesis that is CME Engineering of Old Bridge. But there's no corruption in Aberdeen though. Right Jen?

Realtor friend of ours says Norman Kauff sold his house. I'm double checking to be sure. Could it bring relief or just another boss at the helm of Aberdeen Corruption Incorporated ( AKA Aberdeen Democratic Party )?

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

NOT YOU KAUFF AND YOUR ASSORTED LOW LIKE KLAN.

THAT GOES FOR YOU TOO FREDDY BOY.

SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT YOU ARE FREDDY BOY.

DO YOU REMEMBER BEING YOUR OWN MAN FREDDY?

His own man? He's nothing more than a Kauff lackey.

it worked she said it would work and it really worked. The Good Witch said if I clicked my ruby red slippers together 3x and repeated Get Rid of Norman Kauff and save Aberdeen that I could save my fellow neighbors anymore corrupt political pain from Norman Kauff and his CME. It really worked if it is true that Norman Kauff is moving out of Aberdeen. Now if I can only remember the one the Bad Witch told me to say and do that would send Norman Kauff and his assorted scum to prison. What was that she said to do? I can't remember it right now. Long day at the office and bus is pulling off the parkway. Got to go now. Goodnight and F Norman Kauff.

Still our leadership is not taking advantage of the asbury press news town by town advisories and storm updates. Today Aberdeen is listed as having a free rabies clinic. Woooopee! How about listing information on limbs and trees getting removed. Sure I got the mailer about it but a free rabies clinic? Look at the info supplied by other towns leadership and how informative it is. Not in Aberdeen though unless you want a rabie shot. Idiots before the storm and idiots after the storm. You to mayor.

Alston won and he deserved to win against the town once again. once again our idiot politicians can't hide from this latest screw up and wasting of taxpayers monies yet again. Buccelato says its covered by insurance. Too bad bicycles to doesn't have to pay it himself since he was the tricking force of this farce. Racists is all Buccelayo and his cronies are on this subject.

Another mailing arrived from the town today although it was a little late. First I get a mailing advising me of the cleanup operation days and that didn't happen like the notice said it would. Now I get a mailer extending the paying of taxes except that the notice arrived long after my taxes were due to be paid offering me an extension. I have an extension to offer myself for free. Don't extend the time or contracts of any of the towns leaders who failed us during the storm and since. It's laughable what passes for governmental leadership nowadays. I'll bet my neighbor and former councilman Drapwig printed the mailers. I say this since the mailers don't have union markings on them. Typical of the Kauff syndicate to payback a corrupt soldier like that.

Did they get rid of the sign police guy. Signs all over now and it looks real bad lately. Maybe he didn't vote like the test if them down the democratic line.

of course former councilasshole drapkin printed them. drapkin gets all of the demcorrupt printing business. he is also now an alternate on a kauffcontrolledboard. just remember there is no corruption in kaufferdeen.

Why does the patch insist on writing about THOSE people and their flooded bungalows????
Don't they know that Strathmore had no power for over a week???

Realtor says Kauff's moving said...

Look out Monroe retirement communities I hear Norman Kauff is moving into a complex out your way. At least until he is led away in handcuffs for crimes perpetrated again the taxpayers of Aberdeen, Manalapan, Marlboro and Hazlet.

Anonymous said...

Kauffie gets to move away from the town he fleeced. Matawan insurance pays a man discriminated against by the politicians a second time. Mayor gets to lie to us in the mini building and hide behind the police chief who should have been fired. But politics isn't corrupt? Nice work if you can get it.

Kauff

Kauff

Is there anything more to talk about then Kauff?

Anonymous said...

Look for a big drain on all escro accounts in Aberdeen in the next few weeks. After all there will have to be a big Bon Voyage party paid for by CME to be held for Normie. Seeings how the league of Municipalities suare got cancelled this year and that c left no big send off for Normie in Atlantic City this year.

Anonymous said...

Surviving the storm?

How about surviving the political corruption?

Sandy was nothing compared to Kauff.

Anonymous said...

Bet CME even gets paid to design the Christmas Tree erected outside town hall. Aberdeen is a joke.

Look out Monroe said...

Monroe is a nice area of New Jersey. Too bad it's about to be all Kauffed up. Another nice community fouled by the political corruption that surrounds Norman *F the Taxpayers at all costs* Kauff. See ya later you old Hack.

Good riddance if he is moving just remember though the next democratic asshole could be worse. Right norm?

Hey Mr. Mayor you gonna have another residents meeting soon. I stood there in that room and it seemed like you were being skewered and roasted at the last meeting about the storm. I hope you truly felt our frustration and disappointment in you and others we count on and compensate. I for one am waiting to see what staff changes or punishment you dole out for those who failed us residents and business owners when we needed them and yourself the most. The police chief may have took the blame that night for you while others under your supervision have continued to fail us since the storm of the century in many other ways. I think it's time to man up Mr. Mayor and make sure the failures never happen again. The lack of information and guidance to many of us at this disastrous time for our state seemed to be the worst failure. Truly Mr. Mayor there's been little improvements since. I voted for you Mr. Mayor but if you expect my vote ever again I will look for changes and substantial improvements must be made to correct our towns serious mistakes and failures.

This is my first time posting on here os be patient with me and my opinions. Very disappointed pretty much sums up my frustration with our towns response to Hurricane Sandy. Where's the help I ask for those who lost everything in the storm in our own town? I just read the Patch blog article about Beach Drive area in Cliffwood and I feel bad that something like that did not get more attention for their tax dollars. The pictures tell a story that our town does not care if they are still living in that mess while having to look at all their possessions in front of their homes. Psychological damage is obvious from the materials not being taken away in a timely fashion. Very sad is all I can say.

Money talks, bullsht walks. said...

Just because Kauff is moving out of Aberdeen, what makes people think he won't still be running the town?

CBeach is pissed off said...

Town Manager on Matawan Patch now telling us how hard they are working to pick up all the debris. Another article said the town was getting 2 dumpsters to help our neighbors remove all of the storm soaked garbage that's been on the front lawns for a month now. Two dumpsters are they kidding? There is at least 20 dumpsters worth of stuff down there. And people say government moves slow? Idiots all of them are and they really think we are that gullible? Wait until the next election is all I can say. From the ass of a mayor on down they all go.

Another great weekend for the taxpayers of Aberdeen.

Know why?

Kauff and CME can't rob us on weekends and holidays.

They hate weekends and holidays.

Anonymous said...

Kauffs time is almost over especially with the Mayor we have now. He's in with CME also but hes cheaper to bribe. Kauff is just tired old and can't take the heat we put on him here. And now with Christie running the writing is on the wall. RUN NORMIE RUN.
