We in the I section voiced our disappointment in the Mayor and Town Council that Thursday night at the meeting after Hurricane Sandy. Since then not a word from them. Can't wait for the next election myself. Anyone know what G.R.I.P. stands for? It means get rid of incumbent politicians so you know. In 2013 we vote for 3 open seats and it's my intention to vote for anyone that's not sitting on their ass and getting paid to do nothing for us already. These clowns got to go in my opinion.
Mr. K. can kiss my big black ass. Still waiting for one thing to be listed on here that Mr. K. did for us. We all know he took care of Whillemina for sure. What did we residents get for all the democratic votes he got every year. One park and a couple new basketball nets are not substantial. His money to buy household votes kept some beholding. $50.00 a house I hear was his price for voting blocks over here. Not in my house did he ever get votes.
I am amazed at the number of people who voice their opinions on here about our corrupt political leadership. I am equally amazed that the same corrupt political leaders walk around our community looking like most every taxpayer, business owner and town residents don't know that the same leadership cannot be trusted to do the people's business in an honest, forthright and ethical manner. I am a much older person and have seen many historical instances of political corruption and have seen example after example posted on here and never has any assertion, statement or fact been denied by the accused named on here constantly.
Politicians on the whole are certainly contemptible for their betrayal in the name of politics and the corrupted political leadership. It is truly a shame that it continues for so long. I hope everyday that they are dragged screaming by our law enforcement authorities before nothing is left of our towns reputation. Years ago I had faith in such public servants. People who ran for elected office back when men like Dick Wolfe, Tom Powers and some others that were true leaders in and for our community. What claims to be elected officials at present are useless from the oval office in Washington DC all the way down to our local municipal building here in Aberdeen.This is my first posting ever on here and I will care little for those who may anonymously attack my words. To any local politician who no doubt reads this blog for fear of what is often posted about him or her I say to you it's not to late to stand up against the man who illegally and corruptly controls you and hurts our community. A man who is a traitor to his faith, his profession and most importantly the communities residents that he has used as almost slaves to his political corruption. The knows no shame and I only hope that just one under his control says enough is enough. My contempt and disdain for him does not even allow me to use his name. I am all but certain that most everything I have ever read on here about him is true and damages our community daily under the guise of political leadership. There is no political leadership in this community that is truly beneficial to our community. THIS IS MY TAKE ON THE MEETING AS A FORMER RESIDENT AND FORMER TOWN EMPLOYEE WHO KNOWS THE TRUTH OF THESE OVERPAID TOWN EMPLOYEES THAT TOO LONG AGO FORGOT WHO THEY WORK FOR BEING YOU THE TAXPAYERS OF ABERDEEN.
IT WAS FAR MORE THAN FRUSTRATION IT SEEMS THAT ANGRY RESIDENTS WHO JUSTLY WERE VENTING THEIR ANGER TOWARDS THE POLICE CHIEF WHO IS IN CHARGE OF THE TOWNS EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND ADMITTED HIS COMPLETE AND TOTAL FAILURE.
SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO THE RESIDENTS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING THAT NIGHT?
NOTHING IS THE ANSWER AND THAT IS WHAT WILL BE DONE FOR HIS COMPLETE AND TOTAL FAILURES.
THIS POST SUMMARY OF MINE COULD GO ON EXCEPT THAT THE UTTER IDIOCY OF THE TOWNS LEADERSHIP WAS ON FULL DISPLAY IF YOU READ BETWEEN THE LINES AND LOOK AT THE POLITICIZATION OF THE MEETING AND WHO ATTENDED THE MEETING BECAUSE THEY WERE TOLD TO, ORDERED TO OR HAD TO DUE TO POSITION.
FIRSTLY AND JUSTLY THE TOWN MANAGER HEADED THE DAIS AS THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FORM OF GOVERNMENT IN PLACE IN ABERDEEN. IT IS NOT TRULY THE FORM OF GOVERNMENT IN PLACE AS IT IS OBVIOUS MAYOR TAGLIARINI IS IN CHARGE. HE IS IN CHARGE EXCEPT WHEN THINGS GO REALLY BAD. THIS IS TYPICAL OF SUCH SELF CENTERED TYPES WHO ONLY WANT THE CREDIT NOT THE BLAME IN SUCH INSTANCES AS IS TYPICAL OF COURSE.
THE POLITICIANS LIKE THE MAYOR AS REPORTED IN ARTICLES AND ON HERE WERE ON THE SIDE WITH CONGRESSMAN PALLONE WHO TYPICALLY AND ALL TO TELLING SNUCK OUT WHEN THE RESIDENTS ANGER OVERWHELMED THE TRUE MEETINGS PURPOSE TO HAVE TO ANSWER FOR THE FAILURES.
THE MAYOR AND MANAGER DID NOT WANT TO HAVE SUCH A MEETING YOU CAN ALL BE SURE.
SO THE MEETING IS UNDER WAY WITH THE SACRIFICIAL LAMBS PUT OUT TO TAKE THE HEAT WHILE MAYOR TAGLIARINI VISITED WITH PALLONE WITH OF COURSE OTHER COUNCIL MEMBERS AFRAID TO BE SEEN WHO WERE I THINK PROBABLY USING THE MEETING AS A CONGRESSIONAL PHOTO OP RATHER THAN TRULY BEING ACCOUNTABLE.
FOR THE PLANNER LISTED AS BEING IN ATTENDANCE I WONDER WHY SUCH A PERSON WOULD ATTEND SUCH A FORUM. I CAN ONLY CONCLUDE IT WAS A BILLABLE MEETING. IF THE ENGINEER SENT A REPRESENTATIVE I WOULD SAY THE SAME AS THEIR ATTENDANCE WAS OUT OF PLACE I FEEL.
THE WORST PART OF THE ARTICLE THOUGH WAS MAYOR TAGLIARINI STATEMENTS AND WAS SIMILARLY WAS MOST TELLING OF THE PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE HEARD OVER AND OVER AGAIN FROM MY BROTHERS AS MAYOR TAGLIARINI RUNS ABERDEEN. No power in the I section for a week pales in comparison to the homes destroyed in the beach area. What could you not power up your laptop or television? People lost everything over here. Norm Kauff is not moving. Former Councilman Vinci never ran numbers. No developers were shaken down in any parking lot, not once, ever. There is no investigation. There will be no arrests. None.
The reality is that Aberdeen will continue operating in an orderly, businesslike fashion. The majority of employees are content and do their jobs. Since power came back on in the I Section, residents affected by the storm have gone back to their lives.
That Mayor Tagliarini and his team will be reelected there is no doubt whatsoever, some are even saying by acclamation. The Republicans have no prospects for the election next year. they are not involved in our town and their organization consists of a handful of malcontents and ne'er do wells. All Republicans with any credibility has joined forces with your Democratic Team in a bipartisan coalition for the betterment of our town. People like Harvey Brenner, Tom Perry, Dennis Devino, Joe MacAleer, Mayor Tagliarini and many others are all republicans who have crossed party lines for the betterment of our town.
The majority of residents do not evenknow about this website, and those that do know have no affect on public opinion here. In fact, no resident has even volunteered to take over this website, leaving it in the hands of a resident of another state.

If I was able to sit down with Ivanhoe I would ask Ivanhoe to show us just one thing that the democrats have done that did not line the pockets of Kauff and the others that benefited the taxpayers. The development corruptly controlled by Kauff that will devastate our school district with student costs under the Kauff orchestrated PILOT program yet to be visited upon us taxpayers in total though the low income housing and more Kauff corruptly approved and illegally profited from.
I would ask Ivanhoe if he had ever spoken to Tom, Dennis, Joe, Harvey or Fred and asked any of them to really tell Ivanhoe what they REALLY THINK OF NORMAN KAUFF. Ask them if they think Kauff's absolute control of Aberdeen has ever once benefited the Aberdeen community its business owners and taxpayers. Ask all of them about the revolving door of management that has been manipulated by Kauff and that has probably hurt the operation of the municipality.
I would ask Ivanhoe to call the former manager Stuart Brown and Councilwoman Gallo to explain their forced departures that i have no doubt were ordered by Norman Kauff for their often rumored interruption or probing of the too costly and corruption laden CME Engineering service bills that have cost in excess of $20,000,000.00 at least under the political corruption that surrounds Norman Kauff.
I noticed Ivanhoe did not mention the terrible job done by our political leadership, Chief of Police and others in advance, during or that has still not been done in regards to the recovery of Aberdeen after hurricane Sandy. Maybe Ivanhoe is one of my I section neighbors. Do you overlook the old pool club property that lies a mess in my backyard Ivanhoe.
