Councilman Vinci at the Trough

The following is an excerpt from the Independent on January 31st, 2007.

In addition to the new left turn lane from Gerard Avenue onto Lower Main Street, a new traffic light was installed, Gerard Avenue was widened and the curb and sidewalks in the area were restored. Also, a new access driveway to a building owned by the Garden State Parkway was completed on the north side of the intersection. This new driveway will replace the old one on Washington Avenue, which is scheduled to be vacated, according to the county.

The project cost $406,429 and was jointly funded by the Garden State Parkway, the county and Aberdeen. The work was performed by Green Construction Inc., South River.
Umm . . . Not quite.

First, let’s review the actual costs of developing the intersection and installing a new access road for the few highway workers who regularly use the GSP facility.

The reported $406,429 only refers to the first estimate for construction, not the actual construction costs (which had already been revised upward the prior year). Nor does that number include the engineering plans or purchasing and demolishing a house to make way for the access road.

These are the actual project expenditures –
Construction - $527,491.84
Engineer - $99,500
House Purchase - $210,000
Demolition - $22,450.01
Total - $859,441.85

Contrary to the article, all costs were assumed by Monmouth County and New Jersey State except for the one not listed; that demolished house no longer pays property taxes.

County officials tell me the intersection would likely have cost $350,000 - $400,000 if not for the access road that was built solely to divert the highway workers from Washington Ave. As can be seen from this aerial view, the state and county spent around $450,000 to spare five homes from the occasional highway vehicle.

Next year, the county is slated to expand the Lloyd Road – Rt. 34 intersection at a cost of $2.5 million. The ShopRite and Stop & Shop plazas will be charged a special assessment tax of half a million dollars because of the benefit they’ll receive from the expanded intersection.

How much did the residents of Washington Ave. contribute to the construction of the access road? Zero.

Why would the state and county spend $450,000 to spare a few homes some minor traffic? Because the Honorable Councilman Vincent Vinci resides on Washington Avenue. Yup, the same Councilman Vinci who received free land from the county and the township. The same Councilman Vinci who was paid “consulting fees” to participate in his own re-election campaign. This same Councilman Vinci petitioned the county to spend $450,000 to divert a few vehicles from his quiet street. He even got two "Do Not Block Intersection" signs, a novelty in Aberdeen, installed at the entrance to Washington Ave. If only he showed the same concern for his constituents.

I realize I’ve been picking on our dear Councilman Vinci quite a bit so I’ll make him this offer – if Councilman Vinci agrees, for the rest of the year, to refrain from parking in the handicapped spot when traveling alone to Town Hall, I’ll refrain, for the rest of the year, from targeting him in any of my articles. Do we have a deal?

"Pride attaches undue importance to the superiority of one's status in the eyes of others; And shame is fear of humiliation at one's inferior status in the estimation of others. When one sets his heart on being highly esteemed, and achieves such rating, then he is automatically involved in fear of losing his status." Quote by Lao-Tzu

So, Vinci, in this one example, lobbied successfully to eliminate an access road next to his house that went to the parkway property and then got the leftover property for $1. What a master scam artist!!!

Speaking of handicap parking, what is wrong with Gumbs, she has a handicap tag for her car? I don't know of any problems she has? Is there something wrong with her?

I don't think this project is completed, have you seen Oakshades ball park, there is construction debris (big trees and piles of dirt) right next to the snack shack. Not very nice for girls softball. Shame on whoever should be overseeing the Township construction projects. Last time I drove up the road there was a huge and I mean huge puddle in front of the yellow ranch. I guess Rome was not built in a day ! The good news is the massive mosquito puddle has been releived from the drainage pit they built when the ball park lost their parking, I mean got new parking. Hopefully it will be complete for next season !

It is good to be the King of Oakshades! I hope that people will give these self serving pigs the boot in 2009! Hey Vinny! We are watching now. Stop pretending that you serve anyone but yourself.

Round and round he walks about town, pretending to serve the people. Special signs and land for a buck. Pop goes Vinny the weasel !

WHY ARE YOU ALL PICKING ON POOR VINNE VINCE? NEXT THING YOU WILL BE TELLING ME IS THAT HE VOTED TO HELP HIS SOFTBALL TEAM SPONSOR TO NOT HAVE A LIQUOR STORE AT THE SHOP RITE STORE TOO CLOSE TO HIS GOOD BUDDY BUTCHY GALLO.

APPARENTLY HIS GOOD BUDDY BUTCHY GALLO CALLED IN HIS CHIT FOR ANOTHER VINNE VINCE FAVOR. SO AN HONEST MAN WHO INTENDED TO OPEN A LIQUOR STORE WAS STOPPED DEAD COLD BY VINCE AND HIS FRIENDS.

YOU SEE VINCE MUST HAVE SAT ON THE SAME BOARD THAT DENIED THE LIQUOR STORE LOCATION FOR BEING TOO CLOSE. TOO CLOSE YOU SEE TO VINNES BUDDY BUTCHY GALLO OF GALLO LIQOURS LOCATED IN THE RT. 34 SHOPPING CENTER BY THE CAR WASH.

VINCE SAT ON THE BOARD BUT DID HE EXCUSE HIMSELF FOR HAVING A CONFLICT, A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP CONFLICT WITH THE APPLICANT? I WILL SAVE YOU SOME TIME, VINCE PROBAPLY VOTED AND ALL OF HIS FRIENDS ON THE BOARD DID WHAT VINCE WANTED OR AS HE SUGGESTED.

AS FAR AS THE HOUSE AND THE NEW DRIVEWAY WHEN THE GATE IS PUT IN THAT WILL BE THE FINAL TOTAL OF WORK TO NOT EFFECT THOSE FIVE HOUSES. THE FACT THAT NOBODY FROM THE PUBLIC KNEW THE WASHINGTON ST. ENTRANCE WAS THERE MEANT NOTHING. VINCI NEEDED HIS BEAUTY REST.

THE VAIN SOB WITH HIS DYED HAIR. HE MUST HAVE THE SAME BARBER AND TOP SECRET CONTRACT THAT RONALD REAGEN DID.

VINNE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE. THE NEXT TIME I PAY MY QUARTERLY TAXES AND I SEE YOUR CAR PARKED IN THE HANDICAPPED SPOT, I WILL WRITE THE TICKET MYSELF. OBVIOUSLY THE ABERDEEN COPS AND YOUR FELLOW POLITICIANS DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOU BREAKING THE LAW ON A DAILY BASIS.

SO MUCH FOR THE HONEST X-COP, GREEDY POLITICIAN AND MAN OF THE PEOPLE. A MAN WHO OBVIOUSLY FEELS HE CAN DO ANYTHING HE WANTS TO AND HE WILL GET AWAY WITH IT.

AFTER ALL HE IS VINNE VINCE.THE MAN OF THE PEOPLE. TIMES ARE CHANGING VINNE AND YOUR TIME WILL SOON BE UP. UP THE CREEK WITH AN ATTORNEY AT YOUR SIDE THAT IS.

WHAT DO YOU SEE VINNE WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES JUST BEFORE YOU FALL ASLEEP VINNE? I SEE VINNE AND ALL THE SCUM LIKE HIM BEING LED INTO JAIL WITH VINCE AT THE LEAD WITH NORMAN KAUF BRINGING UP THE REAR. I HOPE WHEN THEY ALL GET TO JAIL THEY ARE ALL BRINGING UP THE REAR IN A MUCH MORE PAINFUL WAY.

VINNE YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT IN CASE NOBODY HAS TOLD YOU FOR SOME TIME.

MY SISTER IN LAW TOLD ME THAT CME MADE SOME BIG MISTAKES ON THE PARKING LOT FOR THE BALL FIELD AND THAT IS WHY EVERYTHING STOPPED. MAYBE NORMAN KAUFF STILL HAS NOT PUT IN FOR HIS SHARE AS OF YET, WHICH IS HOLDING UP THE PARKING LOT.

NORMAN IS PROBAPLY STILL FIGURING OUT HOW MUCH MONEY HE WILL NEED FOR THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST THEM TO LOSE THAT IS.

THE WORD IS SPREADING AND IT IS MORE THAT THE ABERDEENER PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF VINNE AND NORMAN AND THE REST OF THEM. AND ONE FINAL THOUGH FOR MAYOR SOBEL, YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WORK NEXT ELECTIONDAY, I PROMISE.

I MAY LIVE IN THE BEACH BUT I KNOW ABERDEEN AND ITS POLITICS IS ABOUT TO BE SHAKEN UP, AS WE ARE TIRED OF BEING SHAKEN DOWN.

Could you imagine if Vinnie led the Democrate Council to get involved in the last school board election, supporting the red sign people. Oh wait, he was involved..... how one often forgets how the council gets involved in things they should not be involved with.

When will it STOP !

It is called pay to play and it gives Kauff and the Kauff crime syndicate every available opprotuntiy to rape the citizenry.

Perhaps the aberdeener should look into the delays on the parking area for the oak shades field. Perhaps the idiots at CME dropped the ball or perhaps as suggested by a friend my wife knows at the county road department, CME may have got paid for the work somoen else did, which would mean that CME billed for work they did not do. Like that has never happened before?

Also is CME to be the new kid in town for Matawan now? We cannot afford that bunch of liars.

By the way if the aberdeener can look into the new attorneys in my town of Matawan and see if Kauff appears in the same (of counsel) status with that law firm as he does in Aberdeen, Hazlet and Manalapan.

I may be retired but I am learning.

Post script: I recently heard that Kauff and crew are looking into how all of the information that finds its way to this site. They are looking in the wrong direction as the aberdeener does his homework. Everybody I know is into this now and it is growing. I mean do not get me wrong the fact that many people in and around Aberdeen are tired of the BS.

I would urge anyone to look into the whistleblower standards and the required reporting sequences, to cover their asses. Speaking of asses how is Vic Scudeiri doing lately?

Just walked back from the fireworks at St. Joes. I was in the beer tent area waiting for the first blast and I overheard a man telling his wife about a local councilman whom he heard was about to be indicted.

Who could that be?

I have got seven good guesses as a resident of Aberdeen. Or could it be Matawan?

We will see? Hopefully on all the local newscast.

Headline Aberdeen New Jersey-

A sweeping early morning arrests were made today by federal authorities of Aberdeen elected officials for a list of charges stemming from political favoritism, false billing, payoffs and more.

Several elected officials were observed to be crying or trying to hide their faces as they were lead into federal court in Newark today.

One elected official was heard to say I am the king of Oakshades, you cannot arrest me.

I know for sure that the placard that Vinci displays was issued to his wife who had a debilitating illness only a few years back. As an EX-cop he should know that it is illegal to use another person's placard when they are not utilizing the spot for what it is indended to. And as it has been stated, I do not see his wife at town hall or even waiting for him in the car! It would be interesting to find out who the Gumbs' placard was issued to! She sure as hell does not look like she fits into the criteria for obtaining such a thing. The bottom line is that they are both lazy asses who should exercise more than their bodies but their brains also! I believe that they think we are all stupid people who notice nothing! I'm sure neither would feel remorse if, while returning to their conveniently parked cars, if someone was getting out of a car and into a wheel chair from far away. In fact, they would probably get a good laugh out of it! The poor crippled tax payer! They would probably follow them to see if any extra change may fall from their belongings! They both make me ill. If you're sick enough to have a placard -- GET OUT OF POLITICS and go for physical (and mental) therapy! Quickly! Save yourselves (and the tax payers too)!

I pray the authorities (and indictments) are close. I would pay to watch them all get hauled off to jail. Where they deserve to spend a lot of quality time to contemplate what they have done to their fellow residents. May they all be judged! In this life time as well as the one to follow. I can only pitty their stupidity at this point. Hopefully they will have hair color in jail! I'm not sure about them letting you dye your hair twice a month but you'll have to let us know, Vin. Maybe you can have little salon parties in the slammer. I'll be the first to put a clairol package together with an extra bottle for the eye brows!

Can't you see yourself every day? I am convinced that you must be truly as dumb as you look with that jet black hair and eye brows! Are you trying to convince us that God and Age forgot about your hair while the rest of you looks just as old as you are, if not older? Look in the mirror! You're the "old" fool!

What I would like to know is why no one from the Police Department stood up and told Vinci that what he was doing is illegal? Maybe it has been so long since Vinci was a police officer and was supposed to uphold a higher standard, maybe Vinci forgot what a higher standard was.

As for Ms. Gumbs I knew her husband was older and I would have to assume that he may be the reason for the permit. Then again maybe the Deputy Mayor herself has some need or qualification for a handicapped permit. Maybe the deputy Mayor just wants to keep up with the Vincis.

I am not one to bash our police leadership but what kind of example does it set for their officers or for our other municipal workers to have to allow the misuse of a handicap permit? The officers have to see what is going on and one would wonder what kind of example does it set for them to work under dishonest politicians who would just for starters take advantage of a handicapped parking spot. Are they that lazy?

Then again we should all wonder what else is going on without management. Mr. Bonn was let go in early February if I remember correctly. Perhaps Vinci is running the show.

Once again another fine example of Aberdeen politicians at their best.

Someone should ask Vinci at the next council meeting about the permit. If he is man enough to show that is after this topic appearing on the Aberdeener.

More to come and the best is that they are all so stupid they think we are going to forget or go away.

With a Democratic majority, Matawan is seeing the same things happening as in Aberdeen. Maser Consulting was given the job to do all the work for the 2008 Road Program for approximately $300,000+
Prior to the vote the Mayor asked if they wanted to send out for RFQ's, all the Democrats said no. With the current financial crunch wouldn't a prudent Council get other quotes? Just like they did with the Borough Attorney appointment.

First Aberdeen, then Matawan!

Part of the story hear begs the question of why a Republican Board of Freeloaders did a favor for an Aberdeen Democrat. I don't know the answer except to wonder if both local organized political parties are as corrupt as each other.

Remember, the traffic light deal is a County project. Maybe they all got tired of Vinci begging for more favors, maybe Vinci called in a favor from Clifton. Who knows -- but one hand is washing the other.

Aberdeener -- any idea????

What continues to amaze me is that in an age where political types are being led off in handcuffs on almost a weekly basis that our idiots and blood suckers under the control of Kauff, Scudeiri and all the rest who just seem to be conducting themselves as if nothing else matters. It matters!

Speaking of CME my neighbor had some work done in front of his house and CME is supposed to give him a new driveway.

Too bad he is not a neighbor of our
Deputy Mayor, as all of her neighbors got $1250.00 in payment for property taken for a road improvement. But our Deputy Mayor got a reported $3,000 for her and a relative for the same work and property value.

Maybe they think that the six letter word of CAUGHT will not apply to them.

Caught may be a six letter word, which they will continue to think cannot not happen to them.

I know another six letter word they better start being concerned about. The other six letter word they should worry about is SNITCH as in Vinci will be a SNITCH to avoid prison.

And by the way no toupees or hair dye for some of the boys to worry about inside prison. It will be au natural.

I am waiting.

To continue with the Sea Wall Project and CME, the Asbury Park Press had an article published on May 28th saying the CME will make a preliminary assessment of the sea wall not to exceed $18,750. When I read the minutes for tonight's town council meeting, I see CME states the cost not to exceed the sum of $63,000.

CME has been approved by the mayor for 4 jobs (none went to competitive bids) on tonight's minutes to a cost of $218,321.25

They call it "professional services", so now we just hand every job to CME?

As a resident of County road i am about to have some of my property taken for a road program. I will be anxious to see what amount of money i am offered. Perhaps when they come by to pay me i should have Ms. Gumbs do all of the negotiating for my property.

It seems she makes very good deals for herself and her relatives according to this site. But i am not a relative of Ms. Gumbs so i guess i will lose out and have to settle for the amount given to the little people without influence.

Our Deputy Mayor is such a disappointment to many of us new to the area. It is time for some new and younger blood to surface. It is obvious the older folks in this area are settling for less and they get little from their supposed representatives.

My husband and i moved here ten years ago and have little done for our area. It is time for a total change in leadership in our town and more involvement must come from the people rather then the connected.

Tammy from County Rd

Did I go through a black hole or some sort of time warp? Is it not June, 2 2008? Is it not the beginning of the summer?

According to a very recent posting CME is to be awarded $218,000.00 + in taxpayer funds for ??????WORK???????? supposedly perofrmed by CME on behalf of Aberdeen Township's residents.

Obviously it is CHRISTMAS DAY for CME! It seems our leadership is playing Santa Clause for Norman Kauff's crime syndicate and they will approve these fees and bills without question one being asked.

These taxpayer gifts will of course be shared amongst Norman Kauff and his "close personal friends".

Aberdeener and Corruptionman need to look very carefully at all of these bills and make sure this work was not done by someone else. Also make sure that CME isn't billing for work they did not perform in the past. But of course they would not do that? That would be illegal and CME would never do anything illegal???????????????

Or would they ?????????

Well lets see the Aberdeener is willing to not bring Vinny Vinci into the mix if he stops parking in the handicapped spots at town hall.
What about everywhere else he parks illegally.?

I will suggest the following be offered to all of the other council members so involved with ripping off the taxpayers.

Make the same offer to Norman kauff and the council crew members about their actions and blatant stealing from the taxpayers and see how far the Aberdeener gets. Make the same offer as Vinci. Tell them all if they stop giving CME and all of the others in Kauff's pocket, stop giving Kauff all of this free access to the taxpayers money and the Aberdeener will find new topics to discuss and advise the people about.

Keeping Vinci out of the spotlight is not a good thing in my opinion. Week after week he will still be a vote for whatever the crime bosses wants or needs.

Kauff is the crime boss and not bringing attention on Vinci or anybody else is not a good thing in my opinion.

Never let up on them as the only thing that keeps them nervous is the spotlight shown by the Aberdeener and other avenues of publicity.

It is unfortunate and all too obvious that the Asbury Park Press and Bayshore Independent care little for the actions of Kauff and crew. If they just scratched the surface and asked a few pointed questions of Aberdeen's leadership it would make Merla look like he was a Boy Scout.

I for one am very disappointed in the lack of coverage by the newspapers.

Finally on the subject of the misuse of the handicap permit I say SHAME on you Mr. Vinci. Just know that I and my family will never again vote for you or any other democrats as long as we live in Aberdeen.

Mr. Vinci you are low class and have abused your power. Similarly you have taken parking spots from real handicapped people. You are a councilman in a little town called Aberdeen you are not entitled to break the laws, laws you used to enforce. Such action is simply ignorant and all too telling of the man you truly are.

You Councilman Vinci are truly a disappointment and an embarrassment to Aberdeen. You should resign immediately!

By the way being a stooge for Norman Kauff is not a handicap it is however a liability you and others continually fail to recognize. Your day is coming.

Anonymous said...

To those of you who read this blog site and report back to Kauff and the rest report this immediately.

I have voted as a democrat my entire life and as of tomorrow when it comes to Aberdeen and its democratic party my family and I will never vote democratic again. We will never vote as a democrats ever again as long as any member of the council presently in leadership positions or Norman Kauff has anything to do with the democratic party.

I am very embarrassed to say I am a democrat in Aberdeen. This is because of the obvious and outright criminal activity being committed under the guise of leadership and service on behalf of the people in Aberdeen by its elected officials.

In closing I am also very disappointed with the fool of a man who took over for Bob Axlerod. Such a man who is obviously nothing more than a puppet on a string for Norman Kauff deserves to be mocked and sneered in public. He is a disgrace to his party much like all the rest of them. They are shameless and deserve what is coming their way.

I hope and pray that everyone of them goes to jail for a very long time and it cannot come soon enough.

I will proudly take all of my family to vote tomorrow as republicans.

Hurry up you scurrying rats get Kauff on the line and tell him what i wrote. Time to earn your cheesey reward, you rat bastards.

Wow ! Once again the man of the people Vinny Vinci has solicited an awful lot of disturbing comments and well deserved criticisms.

Don't get me wrong I have never thought Vinci and Kauff were anything more than self serving and greedy men who were only in politics to take all they could steal.

I too will be voting republican tomorrow similarly to wsectionjay. I will go one better though and I urge all of you who can one thing tonight. Get your personal phone book out and urge everyone you know to vote republican. Send the Aberdeen democratic party a message.

Let us not forget Councilman Vinci is also Fire Commissioner Vinci. He is corrupt here as well. Let us first look at the "retired" fire official who still drives around in a fire department vehicle in which the gas and insurance is paid by the tax payers. I am not using his name because I don't know if I am allowed to. This "retired" fire official is also a co-director of the Office of Emergency Management yet he blatently defies laws regarding the National Incident Management System. How can the town allow a man who want follow National laws that are in place for the safty of responders to make decisions as to what those responders do? What Vinci wants he gets. This puts our firemen, first aiders and police officers at risk. Secondly, when the JPI(Apts by the Parkway) project was done District #1 Fire recieved 2 brand new vehicles when one of them was supposed to go to District #2. Both Districts respond to any reported structure fire within the town. Don't you think Vinci had some backroom dealings with the vehicles going only to his fire company. This all may be coincidence and it may not but it all seems pretty suspect to me. Corruption in politics is one thing but when it stretches to emergency services where peoples lives are endangered its another. Just thought I would add another point to ponder. Vinci is a Boss maybe more so than Norman. He must go!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Quite obviously the Kauff Crew and their illegal activities are becoming more known by the average Aberdeen citizen. 88 more families became involved over the past weekend in the first Aberdeener Garage Sale event. Now more families are able to see what their Aberdeen leadership is really up to.

I say good for them! Join us and spread the word!

The more people who know, the better! Our ranks are growing.

Pretty soon Mayor Sobel will not be able to say that Norman Kauff is his close personal friend.

Very soon Mayor Sobel will have to refer to Norman Kauff as his close personal co-defendant.

By the way I love some of the comments recently placed on this subject while not directly about our disgraceful Councilman Vinny Vinci. It is very obvious that even amongst the ranks of the Fire Dept. faithful there are some who are embarrassed by Vinci and the rest of his crew and are becoming more vocal.

There is far more we need to discover about the scum that purport to be our leadership. Rumor and suggestions are now being replaced by fact and more examples of illegal and untrustworthy actions by more of the Kauff and Vinci Crime Crew.

Our ranks are growing.

Anonymous said...

While I do not understand the recent input on the subject of our Fire Department and possible infighting, which will happen from time to time in such organizations.

What we should all remember is that these dedicated men and women who volunteer and serve, need our support not our criticism. They provide a great service to our community and we owe them a great debt.

What we should all realize is that there will come a day when paid services will be the order of the day in communities like ours. We should always remember the service and risks they undertake on our behalf.

The minor bickering or one example or suggested condition should not diminish our respect and appreciation for those in our own community who risk their lives, in such varied services to our communities and its citizens.

While there may be things from the outside looking in that seem significant may be in fact very minor to those of us in the public. We should allow our volunteer services to keep themselves in check and not make it a free for all.

I know many of those who serve our community whom too often we fail to recognize and appreciate. That is of course until that call comes in the middle of the night, when we need them and they without hesitation respond immediately

We should be thankful everyday we have such dedicated people in our community.

That would be great as that would mean that not only does Vinny get to vote for CME's Christmas presents ($218,000.00) as a councilman, just like he did this past Monday night. But he gets to wear the CME uniform as he exercises. Do you think he has CME pajamas also> I am sure it is all bought and paid for by Mr. Samuels.

The best thing is that Vinci walks around thinking that the public does not suspect a thing. Does he really think that we do not know for an absolute certainty that Councilman Vinny Vinci is bought and paid for by CME and Norman Kauff.

Vinci is not alone.

Anybody know what kind of car King Vinci has?

I want to check and see if he parks in a handicap parking spot at the next council meeting. While I am at it how about the Deputy Mayor and her car.

Just to let everyone know I downloaded some of the info off of shall we say a few selected topics that have appeared on the Aberdeener. I sent copies to Chris Christies office in Newark and to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

Lets see what the Kauff gang have to say about that.

Here is a hint for the gang.

DO NOT DOUBT ME as the only ones that do not have to worry are those who have not had there name bandied about on the Aberdeener. Everyone else start worrying. You know who you are.

Corruptionman you are my idol. Now if we can only get Indictmentman to sweep up all the political trash involved in the Norman Kauff political scheme. Do you think we could get our elected officials to do the right thing and lets say get them to meet illegally at the CME offices again. That way the authorities would not have to chase them all over Monmouth County to slap the cuffs on them.

The again if they went to the same place they have repeatedly gone for breakfast to have those strategy sessions even thought it violates the Sunshine Laws of New Jersey.

You see elected officials are not allowed to meet in any group larger than three. This because doing so would be against the law. And we all know that our elected officials in Aberdeen would not break the law.

If you believe that I have a CME engineering bill that you could get paid for. You see doing the actual work is not a prerequisite to getting paid by the Aberdeen town council. You see Norman needs to feed the CME machine.

Some would say it might be a payback for an election already paid for. Right Norman?

Can anybody say Recreation Master Plan or Sea Wall engineering report?

STOP THE INSANITY !

1. Okay, so you want to know what car Vinci and Gumbs drive? Go to the Town Council meeting before it starts, I would get there around 6:30pm, and watch to see what they drive up in. That won't happen because you will not show up to the meeting.
2. Corruptionman, Christie will not act on the info from a blog site, I think he needs some more info. He stated in the papers not long ago that we need to curb this ourselves by showing up to the elections and vote out these people in power. I have an idea for you, show up at the meetings and say something! You can come with the person who posted before you and save money on gas.
3. readtheagenda, if you have read the agenda and showed up at the last meeting you could have asked these questions, I guess you and your hero cockamaniplan were to busy trying to hatch your masterplans on how to bring down these people.

I think talk is cheap, show up and ask the questions.

Anyone know why Mayor Sobel and Deputy Mayor Gumms would be lobbying BOE Members to sell the old Cliffwood School building to a Muslim "non-Profit" so they can "fix" the building and open a private school? Last time I checked, non-profits don't pay taxes. Could there be some new back room deal in the works? Don't Sobel and Gumms get enough from everyone else? What do they have to gain from a District owned building being sold to a shady "non-profit"? Gee..wonder if it's time for Mrs. Rubino to pay her debt to the Dems for the election funding/support in getting her re-elected?

or...

Maybe this is another "pet" project for the Pay-to-play loving CME folks(?). BTW-anyone ever Google "CME"? lots of interesting reading comes up. I guess CME probably had to contribute alittle more to the Dems this year since they no longer have our robber baron former Superintendent, Bruce Quinn, to hand them bogus "professional services" jobs anymore. Lord knows how many of those there really were, good ol' BQ seemed to favor verbal contracts over doing things legit. His retirement announcement must have had them all in mourning down at CME.

As for corruptionman, you are going to be damned busy! Great job alerting Christie--it's about time someone did that.

readtheagenda has some good points.

It is amazing that some of us know what is going on or hear it around town. And one other thing if it is against the law to attend such meetings why are such meetings allowed to occur yet nothing happens. Can you imagine what our workers in the municipal buildings know has gone on but can't say anything about.

It would only take a few of them and we could put Matawan and Aberdeen on track. Just imagine what a couple brave people coming forth in the school offices could do.

The GSP awaits.

Bruce Quinn always claimed that the old Cliffwood school building was too full of asbestos to safely sell to anyone and the cost to safely tear it down was prohibitive because of the asbestos issue.

I would wonder what group would want to open a private school in a building with such health hazards. Not to mention what non-profit group would have enough money to safely renovate the building (why not just build a new one?).

I do know that there is no way I would knowingly send my child into a building where there was any question health dangers.

At Mondays council meeting CME got 4 "agreements" with the township totaling more than $200,000 without putting it out for a bid on any of the 4 items.

Aberdeener said...

It Pays to Play for CME Associates
In 2006, the only year available in the online database, the three largest participants in Pay-to-Play were engineering firms. CME Associates was the third largest – they contributed $404,899 and won $19.9 million in government contracts.

Regarding the unused school building, I was at the Board of the Whole meeting when the plan was presented. I forget the individual's name, but he was a highly educated and soft-spoken individual who's originally from India but has lived in the United States for over 20 years. He's already running a program for disadvantaged children and needs more space.

He is fully cognizant of all the health and environmental issues surrounding the building and believes he can get sufficient assistance to repair the building to meet all safety codes.

So long as the school district and the township do not incur any liability, I would support such an endeavor. The more choices parents have in seeking an education for their children the better. And I am certain none of my neighbors would oppose a school simply because it was operated by Muslims.

KrisMrsBBradley said...

Joey, was there any discussion on the parking/drop off situation if the old Cliffwood building was sold?

That place is a mad house already when dropping off or picking up -- I've been witness to several small accidents the past couple of years. And parking is a huge issue already.

Some of that could be easily remedied by staggering the drop off/pick up times of the two schools, but there is still going to be an issue of parking.

Surely there won't be anyone who will disagree just on the basis of the school's religious affiliation. Hopefully no one will be that small minded.

The district could surely use the money from the sale of the building.

Aberdeener said...

A proposal was submitted but parking was not part of the presentation.

I don't believe any sale is being contemplated. Rather, this organization would "lease" the property for a nominal fee.

I don't know how the district would be insulated from any liability issues.

Anonymous said...

Mrsb is 100% correct, parking is an issue and dropping off not as bad as picking up, it is CRAZY!

Aberdeener,

The non-profit was not leasing the building from the District--they want to buy it. The parking is insane there, the nearest house to that building is 10 feet off the property line, so where would they add parking? The State has strict laws about Asbestos, Lead and Mold abatement--especially near a school that is occupied. Fixing the problems in that building would be a long, and very costly undertaking. Quinn quoted $3.5 million to renovate back in 2006. As for the religious affiliation, it really doesn't matter what it is, except that I don't know if one can have a religious private school essentially on the property of a public school. Then there is the issue of whether or not this group even has permission to open a school from the NJ State DOE-- if they don't already have it, then the District could end up selling the building with the understanding that it would be used as a school, but, without approval from the State(which they don't give out very often) the non-profit group might be forced to sell it to a third party--who could then use it how ever they wanted. Which brings me back to the question--what's in it for Sobel and Gumms? why so interested in getting the District to sell? BTW-as you may remember, Aberdeener, at that presentation, the expenses to the District just to determine if/how much to sell it for would be approx. $30,000.00 total. I have a BIG problem with that.

While this topic has not drawn the attention the Aberdeen crime family The Cialias have garnered after having reaching over 90 inputs on the topic of their shall we say cozy, relationship with Norman Kauff and the boys. I am again amazed at the amount of venom spewed forth towards the one the only King Vinci. It is deserved.

The amount and the depths of examples and outright contempt for him, warms the cockles of my heart.
While the examples of his deceit, greed, self service and outright personal corruption seem to know no boundaries, the mere fact that no newspaper has put all of his misdeeds together for the local citizenry to see, is disappointing.

As one who reads the local newspapers cover to cover on a daily basis. I am again struck by today's input from a resident of Wall New Jersey.

His letter and suggestive content are as follows. Written in an excerpted form.

The two party political system can be summed up in a a series of "P" words.

Personal gain: Making money, double dipping and taking extraordinary benefits and retirement plans. They take care of themselves first.

Party control: to ensure their own personal gain can be maintained, they put their party as the next priority.

Patronage jobs: So their friends and contributors get jobs and benefits at taxpayer expense.

People: The ones who should be first, always are last and usually forgotten.

He goes on to say: Perhaps we should replace the word politician with pimp or prostitute. He closes with the statement that: We need real choices, not just the ability to choose between the lesser of two evils.

It is quite obvious that this man from Wall has never heard about the little hamlets of Matawan and Aberdeen.

He would not know that we have the one, the only, the ultimate examples of his PIMP and PROSTITUTE examples, right here in our two towns. Obviously he does not know of the Aberdeen "PIMP DADDY" NORMAN KAUFF who puts his PROSTITUTE COUNCILPERSONS on the streets to serve the ultimate greedy flesh peddling slave master, David Samuels and CME engineering.

Maybe Norman has opened up a new office in Wall to instruct other political types on the fleecing of the citizenry. He is after all the best at taking from the citizenry and giving to his "close personal friends". Right Mayor Soble.

Nothing like diversification right Norman? I too send a greeting to Norman Kauff and all the rest. F.U. to all of you.

I apologize for the few mistakes in my last input. When you get to be 74 the typing gets tough.

So to does the checking.

It sound like FMRTR knows about the process from experience. We should all know that it does not matter one little bit who is in power. Republicans would use CME and Norman uses CME. I do not even bother to say the Aberdeen Democratic Party any longer. It is all too obvious that NORMAN is the democratic party.

Its his party and he'll steal everything he wants to".

Before I go I send Norman an FU too.

Good morning to the Aberdeener addicts in Matawan and Aberdeen.

Late night down the shore means I do not get to check out this site until...

Well I am awake now so here it goes.

I to am shocked by the amount of material and input written in on Councilman Vinci. Has he put the FOR SALE sign on the front lawn of his house yet?

Speaking of for sale signs would that be the latest image tattooed on the bodies of Norman Kauff and his henchmen? I would suggest such a 'for sale' tattoo be placed in the center of their foreheads. Right there in the front for everyone to see. It would leave no doubt as to their true purpose as servants of the people.

Hey Mr. Kauff fu

To anonymous, I go to Council meetings in Matawan. I have been told by certain Democratic Councilpersons that I badgered the Council last year. Because I presented a signed notarized petition from the residents of Union St. requesting the entire Union St. be included in the Road Program last year, which was ignored by the Democratic majority. This year when we are experiencing a financial crunch in Matawan, they have decided to do an extensive Road Program in Matawan to include the remainder of Union St. With elections coming this Nov., I wish I could say it was because of my petition, but truth be told it is political. We are being misled to believe it won't cost the taxpayers much. The operative word is COST!

I will continue to attend meetings and stand up for what I believe is right. I will continue to question unethical acts, misleading statements, overspending, political appointments, etc. Comments on the Matawan Advocate Blog have referred to a Union St. neighbor and myself in a negative way. I have been gaveled by the Mayor when asking questions of the Council that somehow needed the advice of the Borough Attorney or when I got into a heated dispute with Council members.

Aberdeeners, don't let anyone bully you. Stand tall.

Anonymous said...

agnes e falk, I applaud you for attending the town council meetings. The problem with this group of people in Aberdeen is they would rather whine and cry on a blog than step out and say something at a town council meeting. I get tired of reading all these people with their great ideas and yet when the time comes to speak up they are not around.

Keep up the good work Agnes and I only wish more people would come to these meetings and see what is going on. If you have a problem with the mayor or any council member show up and say it to them, they are sitting right in front of you, fire away. If you have a problem with an agenda item show up and state it, if you would like to see something else done stand up and say it. Maybe if you say it someone else at the meeting may agree and we can get something started.

Brian in Aberdeen

Anonymous said...

Come on Brian get real. Do you think these people are wasting their or our time? Do you not see what is happening?

Brian, ask yourself one question. Have you ever seen Mayor Sobel, Councilman Vinci, Councilwoman Gallo, Deputy Mayor Gumbs, Councilman Perry, Councilman Raymond or Councilman Drapkin answer any of what has been put on this site about them from disgruntled and outright angry residents and taxpayers? The answer Brian is NO. They know what they are doing wrong and they hide from us everyday. You can be damn sure that Norman Kauff and all of the rest of them wish the Aberdeener and the rest of us would just go away. It is not going to happen.

You need to realize one thing and one thing only. Their collective silence is all of the proof most of us need to know they are breaking the law. Sure people should go to meetings. But why go to meetings and just be ignored is fruitless.

Just keep watching this site and all that is said on it. If we are liars, let just one of them respond and tell us we are wrong.

Their is much to be said for what is going on here. It bothers them every single day. What I would suggest all of us do is to call the local editors of all of the newspapers and local TV people. Just give a few examples of what is going on, that has not even one time been defended by any of them.

Norman Kauff and his puppets know what they are doing and they also know they are being watched. One of these days the sky will fall in upon them.

Ask yourself like I do what is taking the authorities so long? It is my hope they are just watching and listening. You can be damn sure that Norman and the group are looking at the Aberdeener every single day. They know we are watching and they hate that as well.

Their collective silence is all the proof I need.

Anonymous said...

I too say F em F em all!

Anonymous said...

Brian,

I have to agree with main street. The fact that they have not responded even once shows their guilt.

What I find all to troubling is that nsectionjoe who was reportedly identified as an Aberdeen worker who used to be big trouble for town councils not too long ago. He is mysteriously quiet on many subjects he would have been out front on, not too long ago.

That is also very disappointing for some of us. His silence like the council is also troubling.

Only time will tell.

Aberdeener said...

Tilly,

Thanks for the correction regarding the vacant Cliffwood building. My recollection of the presentation is cloudy and I appreciate the clarification.

Anonymous said...

Do you think nsection is the only town worker who logs on. We should realize many workers in many municipalities are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I have looked on several subjects and nsection is far from quiet. He hates barza and that is enough for me.

Let those whose job it is to enforce the laws, enforce the laws. We should not expect nsection or anyone else to single handedly do the job of others.

I feel it deep down in my bones that those who violate the public trust will get what is coming to them. Each and everyone of them that is. All of the towns around us have been in the news with crooked money grabbing politicians and more. Do you think Aberdeen or Matawan is immune? We are probably the worst of them all and our supposed leadership and their handlers are merely marking time. They will no doubt cry like babies when the shit hits the fan.

Like someone said before, that early morning knock on their door is coming. Hopefully very soon.

I understand everyone’s frustration with things that go on in town. What you are saying is that the council members are reading this blog just as you and I do every day, I don't know that to be true. I tell people all the time that I am friends with from town to read this site and not one has even heard of it before. Now that doesn't mean that the council members are not reading it, what my frustration stems from is all the people on here who say they are going to do something. Anyone can say something, what I respect is when someone DOES something. The fact that the town council has not responded does not tell me a thing. If I was a council member I would just ignore everyone as well. Tell me this what could they say to make you change your mind about them? If they were to come on this site and defend themselves you would call them liars and if they don't come on you say they are guilty, a no win situation.

With that said I am in no way defending them and I question many moves by the council.

If you don't go to the meetings and voice your displeasure and next election vote them out, nothing will change.

If you go to the meetings you will not be ignored, you stand up state your name and give your concern or complaint, where you are being ignored is on this web site. Has anyone responded, no, you just said that they are silent.

They may hope this site goes away (if they know about it) but they can just ignore it. If you go to the meeting stand up, YOU CAN NOT BE IGNORED.

Your whole argument is that if you go to the meetings you are ignored, that is where you are wrong, you state in your comments to me that no one responds, so who is being ignored? Me? I go there and get my questions answered, or you who sits on this site and gets no response to any of your questions?

That is what I am saying, I think this site is informative and the readers are great and some have great ideas. I am not looking to argue with anyone here just trying to rally the troops!

Keep up the good work everyone, but for me the Town Council meetings are the way to go!

To Brian:
I have been to the counsel meetings. I don't think I've ever heard ONE direct answer to ANY direct question. These people could teach dance lessons as they conveniently tango around EVERY question. And, if you have a concern or a new topic to discuss, they are rude, abrupt and arrogant. God forbid if a resident asks a question! Aren't they a representative of the community? Do we want to be represented in such a fashion? They all need a lesson in manners.

Aberdeener said...

The council won't ignore me.

The next town council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17th, at 7PM.

I intend to be there.

Anonymous said...

Brian seems to have all of the answers doesn't he. Too bad his in experience dealing with these CROOKS, there I said it, this as everyone of them knows they have repeatedly broken the law. Whether it be violating the open public meetings act, the sunshine laws in regards to meetings and quorums as has been suggested, listening to and following without question orders from Kauff, not questioning past financial decisions or illegal acts or decisions of former managers, or allowing outside influences to impede the rights of the people. They have broken the law or at least their moral code.

They have also violated their oaths of office coupled with all the rest of the influence peddling and more we the taxpayers are paying the price for every single day.

This leadership and many before it have routinely failed the people. Whether it be typing our feelings and frustrations into this blog, going to a meeting or anything else we might do, it does not stop the fact that they are breaking the law and violating their oath of office.

Just look at Vinci and his intersection. A self serving politician cost the citizenry over $800,000.00 for his personal BS. The fact that the intersection needed a traffic signal was secondary to stopping an occasional vehicle from passing King Vinci's home. Then to beat the band the GSP and then Aberdeen sell Vinci property directly associated to his own property for two dollars. The most telling thing is that now he can sell or develop that property as their were no legal terms listed to stop him from doing so. Prior sales such as his to the "regular people" have included limitations and covenants on such properties being given or sold in the past. The paperwork provided by the Aberdeener shows that from the Mayor to even our legal counsel they have all violated their oaths of office and the public trust routinely.

All of this occurs under the guise of our elected leadership. The arrogance and deceit of these people know no boundaries.

As a very religious person I must fight the feelings I have towards these people. I look at the bills I have to pay and then read about all of our supposed leadership gives away to their friends and contributors and it saddens me. I know what my late wife would say, and she would not mince her words.

She would know doubt have said that they will get what they deserve. But when?

Brian let people do what they can or at least what lets their frustrations out.

Anonymous said...

69, never said I had all the answers and never said don't let your frustrations out.

All I said was if you go to the Town Council meetings you cannot be ignored, but if you just type comments on a blog site you will be ignored.

I also stated I think this site is great and very informative, 69 I think you should take your frustration out on who they are meant to be and that is the council members. I do agree with the other poster they can be rude at times but it means you are getting a reaction from them which is good. Do you think you get the same reaction when they refuse to read this blog? That is my point and you are all helping to make it. I also stated I was just hoping to rally the troops, maybe now that the Aberdeener says he will be there some others will show up.

Re-read what I said, have a good day. I never say I have the answers I am just trying to get something done.

Wow is it hot today. I thought I would check for any new topics or insightful input from my fellow oppressed local residents.

Not only do we get to be oppressed by our elected officials but the weather is brutal. I am so glad I put this pool in the ground years ago. The relief is instantaneous.

As for this topic and the new kid Brian entering into the fray I welcome you and give you a little advise. keep your opinions on what is said on this site to yourself. Norman Kauff and his henchmen would love to see us argue amongst ourselves. That is a political lesson as old as time itself. Divide and conquer works for them. The all too often used political excuse culminating in repeated denials, is also a good one that they use far too often.

The word liar and the word politician are the worlds most used oxymoron. Yes two different words that mean the same thing.

Do not give them any reason to think we are not thinking about their actions and our pain. They cause it and they should be held accountable. Accountable is another word they despise.

Diving board is calling have to go.

Stay cool.

Boy you guys have a great attitude on this site whine and complain and hope someone else gets the job done.

I guess I should stay at home instead of going to the town council meetings like the rest of you, boy you have sure gotten a lot accomplished.

OK Brian since you are so brave here is a list of questions for you to ask at the next council meeting.

1. Ask every council-person if they have any personal knowledge of councilman Vincei on the entire situation of the intersection by his home. Ask Vincei if he ever called Freeholder Clifton to push for the house to be torn down to take traffic away from his street he lives on. Ask Vincei if it was fair to spend so much money to stop less than 20 or 30 cars per day from driving past his house. Ask Vincei if he will swear to not develop the properties he recently bought from the town and the parkway on the record. Ask McCarthy why no restrictions were placed in the sales as is a standard practice in most sales like that one.

2. Ask every council-person if they ever violated any sunshine laws or attended any meeting with the democratic leadership in violation of rules that govern having more than three members of a governing body present. Ask them if they ever met at Norman Kauff's office or Dave Samuwels office.

3. Ask Councilman Vincei if he ever used his wifes handicap permit without her in the car to park in any handicapped spot in Aberdeen.

4. Ask Wilemina if she has a handicapped permit in her name. If she has ever parked in a spot in Aberdeen.

5.Ask if any of them ever voted to award CME payment for work they know CME did not do under orders from Kauff.

6. Ask if they ever heard that a developer was approached by Norman Kauff who worked both sides of a development contract.

7. Ask everyone of them how often they are called by Kauff. Ask the if they have phones provided by town hall and ask to see the records for those phones. Ask them if Norman Kauff runs Aberdeen. Ask Jimmy Laura if he has ever been called by Norman Kauff since Mr. Brawn left. Ask Mr. laura if he has ever been given orders by Norman Kauff since Mr. Brawn left on any subject or town business. Ask McCarthy what Norman Kauff gets paid annually. Ask him what Norman Kauffs hourly rate is billed at by his firm. Ask what Norman Kauff does for Aberdeen and if the town council has approved his duties.

Ask those questions Brian and we'll see how far your free speech gets you in town hall. I recently watched as a concerned member of our community asked a simple question about a park and was denied an answer by Soble.

You may feel you are being wrongly picked on by some of us. Lets see what happens when you ask some real questions. Then we'll see how far you get.

Good luck

You must have been at the last town council meeting if you saw that happen, good for you if that is true.

If you were there you also heard me ask about why we don’t get competitive bids for the engineering jobs and not just give them to CME. I did tell them that we lose a competitive edge by not doing that. I did ask them if they just walk into a Best Buy and take the companies word that this is the best deal or do they price out their purchases. Aren't these people working for us? Shouldn't this be done?

I don't feel like I am being picked on, I just feel like people need to show up and ask questions or at least come and listen. I do feel like you should re-read what I said, I have never stated I have all the answers like I am being accused of, but I am looking for people to come out and be seen.

I did state and hold to true that statement that it is easier for them to ignore you on a blog then it is in person.

PS, never said I was brave but I will stand up, state my name and address and ask my question. That is not bravery, that is someone questioning some of the questionable tactics in this town. Hope to see you at the next meeting Doc, no hard feelings towards you or anyone else on this site, I want the same thing as you, I just feel it is better to say something at the meetings. Keep up the good work Aberdeener, hope to see you there too.

Have a good night.

I am anxious to see how far Brian gets with those questions. The blog by the way works due to all of those questions from lloydrddr were subjects that have appeared or been suggested by our fellow typers on the Aberdeener. It is working.

Good luck Brian I hope you either get truthful answers directly as a result of the questions you ask. Know though that you will also know the truth if you do not get answers to your questions. Thorugh their silence you will have gotten all of the answers you will ever need.

I cannot wait to see your response on the blog. As my daughter has graduated we are off on a little vacation.

See all of you in two weeks.

kimsmom, enjoy your vacation, I have to say I do get answers to my questions. Not always what I want to hear, but I get them answered, you should try yourself.

Anonymous said...

lloydrddr, now that you have your list of questions show up and ask them on Tuesday, June 17th. Starts at 7:00pm.

Why is everyone suggesting Brian go to the town council meetings and ask these questions, do it yourselves. He has a point, stop complaining and go.

KrisMrsBBradley said...

I think we should all do both: Keep complaining and do something.

I'd also like to note that there are other ways to get your point across besides showing up at the meetings. Of course that is the best way, face-to-face, but there can be reasons for not being able to show up at the meetings -- night shifts, lack of child care, children with special needs, etc.

For those who can't make the meetings, for whatever reason, you can get your questions asked through emails or written letters to the council.

Personally, I have not had much luck getting my questions answered this way, but at least they know that voters are aware of what is going on.

I agree with you mrsb. There are many avenues to get your point across. There are also many reasons why people can not attend.

By the way lloydrddr does not mean I am a Doctor. I am a DEMOCRATIC REPUBLICAN that is the dr at the end of my ID. I cross the line and vote for the man or the woman not the party.

Look what only voting party lines has gotten us. People like Vinci who only vote for Democrats time and time again. Vinci has been that way since I've known him. You could put George Bush on a democratic ballot and he would vote and work hard for him. We have elected idiots who rob us blind. Vinci is the prime example.

By the way I did speak to the Editor of the Asbury Park Press today and he wanted exact instructions on getting to the intersection by Vincis house. I think he is sending a photographer to shoot some film of a monumental waste of money to satisfy one greedy, self serving politician.

Where is Jacque Cousteau when you need him? He could be the man to delve deep to find maybe one honest politician at the bottom of the sea. He would probably find him or her right next to the one honest lawyer.

I remember a night at Steve Robinson's house years ago after a democratic election win. That night Vinci could not pat himself on his back for the election win fast enough. That night I started to be a Democrat Republican. I despise Vinci. But I despise Kauff more.

lloydrddr, well put. I hope something comes of that phone call to the editor at asbury park press, maybe they will do a piece.

lloydrddr, I wish everyone voted the person not the party. That is the movement we need to get started! The problem is the average person relies on slanted local newspaper coverage, and direct mail postcards. The truth about these politicians rarely comes out.

Okay llyodrddr, I emailed Freeholder Clifton your question about Vinci and removing the house and here is his response below:

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the email about the intersection project. I am sorry for the delay in getting back to, but I needed some information from the County Engineer because this project was planned before I joined the Board of Chosen Freeholders in January of 2005.

According to the Engineer the decision to take down the house was agreed to during discussions between the New Jersey Highway Authority and the County. There was an agreement in June of 2003.

Councilman Vinci never called me to have the house demolished (that decision was made 18 months before I joined the Freeholder Board). He did call me to find out the construction timetable of the intersection. I forwarded him on to the County Engineer for the specifics.

I hope this helps. If you need anything else do not hesitate to contact me at this email address, it is my blackberry so I will receive your emails quicker.

Take care.

Rob Clifton

Deputy Director

Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders

There you have his side of the story.

It's nice to see our GSP tolls and County and local road dollars going to people that need it. Vinci is needy - why should he have to put up with an extra five cars on his street? After all he is an Aberdeen Councilman so he shouldn't have to put up with traffic like the rest of us!

It was also nice to see Mayor Sobel end up with a repaved Oxford last year - just in time to make his house more attractive when it goes up for sale after he finishes his term next year.

Gumbs sure took care of herself on County Road. The Gumbs have served this town well for multiple generations and up until Willy Gumbs was elected, the Gumbs were known for being selfless, as opposed to the selfish Mrs. Gumbs.

Then we have Janice Gallo who was part of the hapless team at the school district and now has gone on to join the corrupt Kauff team along with Joe "tell me what to vote for" Raymond.

And let us not forget Owen "Kauff and Coren Lend Me Their Brain" Drapkin. In all what a sorry bunch of rodents who have betrayed the public trust in the name of greed, corruption, and self-important frollicking.

Brian,

Nice job. Now I have to ask you a question. Do you believe Freeholder Clifton?

I read the response and will tell you one thing that I for certain know is true. No matter what he told you Vinci had everything to do with what went on down there. My brother in law was on that project and told me himself that Vinci is a big pain in the ass to the county and the parkway. It is as if Vinci thinks it is his own private part of the county. $850,000.00 to satisfy some has been politician. He was even there when they turned on the traffic light my brother in law told me.

Don't think Vinci is not the only one who gets any favors like that done for him. You have to see what my brother in law is working on in
Middletown. Another low life politician putting himself before the taxpayers.

Middlesex Jim, I believe Clifton, but didn't say I believe Vinci. I just wanted to post Clifton's side. I also told him the blog site in case he would like to read for himself. He did say Vinci called him so Vinci was probably fishing for something. I certainly don't believe everything I hear or am told, but that does go both ways. When something doesn't add up I have a big problem with that. My biggest issue is CME and this town council!

By the way Clifton is a Republican, why would he have helped Vinci. Scuderi is Vinci's buddy and Clifton and his group hate Scuderi.

I'm very sorry but, due to a family emergency, I will not be able to attend tomorrow night's town council meeting.

However, I will try to make the next town meeting in July.

My apologies.
